Jesse Campbell said:The BBB haven't seen this kind of unity or turnout in decades. You see it at the concerts, the tournaments, even out in the Midwest. Once the Head steps down and the crackdown eases, you'll see that energy hit the stadium too.

There are probably 500 people there who basically all know each other—old timers in their 40s hanging with kids who are just hitting 16. The sense of community is real.

The catch? About 300 of those 500 aren't even allowed in the stadium. But we'll get through it eventually. ☕

Right. The greatest fan story in the entire universe.

Look, over the last 30 years, BBB has definitely been one of the best fan stories out there. ☕

That’s a bit of an exaggeration, but if we managed to weather this past six months—which looks like we did—then nothing can touch us now. The most important thing is that the rats are back in their holes; frankly, I was more exhausted by their arrogance than anything else.

This whole thing reminds me of tilting at windmills. Sure, the government can try to oust Mamić, but neither you nor I have any power to make that happen. If that's the case, why bother voting for politicians who back people like him? Problems like this are solved from the Head down, not the tail up. Just go out and do something productive—singing, rock climbing, getting involved in actual politics! When someone without any real authority or clout makes replacing some random guy at a local football club their entire personality, it’s just not healthy for your mental headspace.

Forget those online petitions.

The real move is for everyone here to grab at least two—and I mean BARELY TWO—sheets of paper and go hunt down 30 signatures each. Hit up your neighbors, family, coworkers, buddies, anyone who bleeds Dynamo colors!

Just get it done!!!

To me, this "paper" petition actually carries more weight.
Speaking of which, I completely blanked on asking the guys at the coffee shop in downtown Chicago today—is an online petition considered just as valid as one done via a physical sign-up sheet? It’s important for me to know because I’m planning on gathering signatures, and I want to be able to tell people ahead of time to hold on and sign by hand.
I mean, obviously they won't count double votes, but I just want to know for the sake of principle.

It’s just something I need to nail down before I start rounding people up for signatures, so I can let them know ahead of time that they'll need to grab a pen and sign by hand.
I mean, obviously, nobody is going to count double votes, but I'd just like to know for my own peace of mind regarding the validity of it all.

I'm wondering about this too... maybe someone could weigh in before the group starts out collecting signatures...

It really all boils down to the same result, as every single signature—whether gathered online or on physical paper—will eventually be consolidated into one final tally. That said, I do agree with Jesse Campbell that it would be ideal if everyone could grab a few sheets and make a genuine effort to collect as many names as possible. The digital option is primarily intended to accommodate those who simply can't make it out in person to sign. There is no risk of any double-counting occurring, as the entire process is being meticulously verified.

The turnout matters. It’s the ultimate proof. If people are actually stepping up to sign this, then our demands and what the players want aren't just noise—they're legit.

My old man called me; he was just driving through downtown Chicago and was blown away by the energy. He signed it on the spot, obviously, and said there was a massive crowd signing too.

I even read somewhere that people were literally lining up to sign.

Sean Wilson2 said:It’s all the same deal—eventually, they’re gonna merge all the digital signatures with the physical ones anyway. But obviously, it’d be way better if everyone just grabbed a couple of sheets like Jesse Campbell suggested and really pushed to get as many names as possible. The online thing is mostly just for people who can't make it out in person to sign. They aren't gonna double-count anyone, they check everything.

I missed it, man... I didn't grab a sheet. Does anyone know where else I can pick one up besides today? Maybe someone with a hookup with the guys could snag some and leave them somewhere to print...

June 15th marks the 5th anniversary of the Dynamo graffiti at the local park, BBQ and all that, so we'll try to arrange some signings there too.

btw... we're thinking about organizing a blood drive then, too. Does anyone know if the Red Cross has ever been willing to do field work on a Sunday?

Btw... we're also looking into setting up a blood drive during the event. Does anyone know if the Red Cross ever does mobile drives on Sundays?

Ask Valsimota about the blood drive, he probably knows how that works.

I find myself quite curious about the documentation as well, if only to have my own records properly organized at home...

Picked up some paper over on Fifth Avenue at the local shop. It’s got those flip-out pages specifically for signatures—holds about 15 at a time.

I grabbed three. Once you fill them up, you just take them back to Fifth Avenue or wherever.

Looks like this group finally dropped some detailed instructions lately.

Honestly, you guys are such boring idiots, it’s unreal. You should be more worried about bringing back that classic pyrotechnic vibe so the stands don't look like some tacky United Colors of Benetton ad, with banners dropping everywhere like overripe fruit.

Spot on. Short, sweet, and totally true.
