Tokyo-Giants - Kawasaki @1,65; 3+ @1,70 (1-3)
Pure kamikaze energy here. We are looking at two sides that live and die by their offensive output. When these two go head-to-head, the goals usually fly, and their last encounter was a wild 5-4 affair in favor of Kawasaki. Since then, Kawasaki has cooled off slightly with three unders, while Osaka has seen two unders and one over. Given that this is for the League Cup, why wouldn't we expect another absolute shootout?

What on earth are we going to do about the Singaporean side? The visitors absolutely need this win if they have any hope of making the playoffs, whereas the home team is essentially dead in the water at the bottom of the table regardless. For the visitors, Ljubojević is taking the field... he’s putting in work like a beast 🙂

Shamrock Rovers/Galway United yes @ 1.90 (0-3)

Honestly, what else can I say? It's Shamrock B—total madness! This is my 14th attempt at this one... there's been such a crazy amount of goals in their games lately, yet somehow they just can't manage to score on both sides? They've gone 13 matches in a row without it happening!

01:00 Deportivo Capiatá-Guaraní 2 @ 2,10 (f+2@ 3,80) (SS) (1-0)

Looking at this Major League Soccer matchup in Paraguay—where Deportivo is sitting middle-of-the-pack with 7 points from 6 matches—they're hosting Guaraní, who, to put it bluntly, are absolutely tearing it up lately. After an initial draw, they've rattled off five straight wins and have a goal differential of 16:3 that just looks ridiculous. Historically, the visitors have the upper hand too, holding 4 wins against a single draw and loss, but you really have to look at their last three outings where Guaraní managed to find the back of the net 13 times.
The away side is famous for these wild, high-scoring affairs—think 5:5, 6:2, or 5:3 type of chaos—so I decided to take a shot at the over options: 6+ goals @ 9,50 and 7+ @ 37 (Germany)

Just going on a bit of a hunch here, I might also try the half-time/full-time 1/2 @ 25 (1-0/1-0) option—only the PSK platform lets you actually work out those specific types of bets anyway.

Grimsby Town F. C.-Welling United 4+ 3,00 (2-0)

Welling's recent run:
12.08.2014 Torquay United F. C.-Welling United F. C. 3:0
16.08.2014 Halifax Town-Welling United F. C. 3:1
25.08.2014 Eastleigh F. C.-Welling United F. C. 3:1

The Mariners' last three outings:
30.08.2014 Aldershot Town F. C. - Grimsby Town F. C. 2:1
23.08.2014 Gateshead-Grimsby 1:6
25.08.2014 Grimsby Town F. C. - Alfreton Town F. C. 7:0

Look, Grimsby actually has some real talent on the pitch, especially when you look at their front line...
Lenell John-Lewis, Ross Hannah, Jon-Paul Pittman...
Combined with Barnet, they’ve got the most lethal attack through these first 6 rounds—dropping 16 and 15 goals respectively. Pretty insane.
Meanwhile, Welling has been a total sieve, letting in 12 goals just in their last 3 away trips.
Maybe we see some goals today, but I can practically smell a blowout coming...
It's basically an elite offense running wild against a paper-thin defense.
Solid odds.

Mexico - France Over 2.5 + Benzema scores at 5.75 (1:1 + no score)

France is just a better squad—expecting them to roll over Mexico right after they handle Spain... Benzema is their main man and he can find the net against anyone, so why wouldn't he do it against Mexico? 🙂

If someone plays a clean 2, the odds are 2.15... basically a gift from the sportsbook if you ask me

Paraguay - UAE 1 at 1.70 (0-0)

Paraguay is clearly the stronger side compared to the UAE—anything other than a win there would be a massive upset

Matthew Taylor15 said:USA vs France, 2+Benzema at 5.75

The US squad is just better. After they handle Spain, I expect them to steamroll Mexico too... Benzema is their star and he can score on anyone, so why wouldn't he do it against Mexico? 🙂

If someone plays it smart and hits the 2, the odds are 2.15... honestly, it's basically free money from the sportsbook today.

No wonder you're a total degenerate when you make calls like that. 😁

Deschamps already said he's shaking up the lineup today. We're looking at 7 new players compared to the Spain game. The front three will be Sissoko, Remy, and Cabella... while Lacazette waits on the bench.
Benz played the full match against the Spaniards, so there's a huge chance he doesn't even step on the field today. Plus, claiming Benzema can score on anyone is a joke if you've actually watched him play lately. 🤣

Today is the first real test for the US under the new manager—Dick Advocaat might actually make this team look decent for once.

At this point, it’s probably best to just wait for the official lineups to be released and see how the game actually unfolds. A spread of 1.30 feels far too thin; I wouldn't bet on them covering that. The Mexicans have put together a remarkably disciplined defense.

Honestly, you’re better off just skipping that duo altogether. You can always find much more chill, friendly, and actually sane groups out there elsewhere.

Euro Qualifiers
20:45
Switzerland vs. England ML @1.85 (0-2)
It’s the opening match for Group E. Honestly, looking at the rosters, both sides feel like heavyweights capable of moving on. If you look back at their head-to-head history, it’s almost always a shootout where both teams find the back of the net. I’m expecting a similar fireworks display tonight.

USA vs. England 1 2.80 SS (0-2)

The Americans are definitely riding high on all that confidence from their killer run at the World Cup, so it looks like the coach basically handed over a squad that's already dialed in and ready to go. On the flip side, you’ve got England going through a total overhaul since heavy hitters like Terry, Gerrard, and Lampard hung up their cleats. They’re bringing in this whole new crop of players who are still trying to find their rhythm and figure out how they mesh as a unit.

This feels like the perfect window for the US to step up and take down the English on home turf.

It's a bit of a risky call, but honestly, that line is just too juicy to pass up, so I'm throwing some money down. 👍

USA vs. Turkey 2 @ 2.05 (odg3+ @ 2.40 PSK) (3-0)

It’s a matchup between the team that was actually hitting their stride during the last qualifying round and a Turkish side that—well, let's just say they've been a bit of a disappointment at the start of these new qualifiers.
Now, look, I’m a fan of the Americans, but if I'm being honest? I think they're going to have a hell of a time making it back to the playoffs this time around—even with that expanded Euro format everyone keeps talking about. They've landed in a group with a powerhouse Dutch squad, a Turkish team that finally seems to be waking up, plus some tricky Czechs and those pesky Kazakhs and Latvians.
Turkey is definitely finding its footing again—they showed flashes of that toward the end of the World Cup qualifiers and they've been leaning into it during friendlies (though, let's be real, friendlies aren't always the best yardstick for anything, but still...). They've pulled off 10 wins in their last 12 outings.
What's interesting is how high-scoring their recent matches have been lately. In six of their last seven games, you saw at least three goals, and both sides usually found the back of the net—five of those ended in a 2-1 scoreline. My gut tells me the Americans are going to come out swinging hard, which just leaves the door wide open for Turkish counterattacks. I'm expecting an open game with plenty of chances and, naturally, plenty of goals.

For all those reasons, I’ve decided to go with the exact score of 1:2 (I’ll probably wait to place this live, since the odds tend to get much better once things get moving)
.
On top of that, it might be worth a shot with the halftime/fulltime 1/2 @ 32 (Germania) (1-0/3-0), similar to what we saw over the weekend when Turkey staged that comeback against the Danes in Copenhagen. I don't see why they couldn't pull off something similar here.

I’m really digging this double pick on the Turkish game! I think I’ll grab that one—thanks, Eric Fox7! I’ve been getting burned way too often on those +2.5 spreads lately, so I’m sticking to the clean +2 for some stability.

What’s your take on USA vs. Malta? My brain is a little fried today, so I’m struggling to find the right angle. Maybe a 2+ and first half spread at 1.90?

Whenever we faced off against Malta, it was always such a grind—usually just scraping by with two or three goals.

As for those guys from Turkey, I’m leaning more towards an over 2.5 goal count rather than just 2.😁

There is absolutely no need for me to take sides here. It is far better to simply observe from the sidelines. I find myself sufficiently agitated by the current state of affairs without needing to add the added frustration of betting on our own match to the mix. 😉

Personally, I am leaning toward the under 3.5 goal line for the matchup between Canada and Cyprus. I cannot recall the exact current odds, though they were hovering around 1.45 earlier this afternoon. One only needs to observe how Cyprus performs when playing away to see the pattern; they are almost exclusively an unders team. While Canada has certainly shown some strength lately, one must remain cautious...

I wouldn't touch that with a ten-foot pole given how trash those betting lines are—if these guys from the Midwest actually get momentum, they could easily drop five or six goals easy as pie.

Vendsyssel FF vs AGF Aarhus — Aarhus to score: 1.20 (0-3)

Aarhus has bagged 10 goals over their last three away games—definitely worth a look, even if the odds aren't massive. Just take them to score... if you're looking for a solid addition to your parlay, this one's a safe bet. 😁

There is an overwhelming amount of options on the slate today, and I can only pray that I don't fall victim to my usual habit of picking the wrong matchups. 😁

Atlanta United vs. Orlando City both teams to score (1.45) (1-1)/ both teams to score and over 2.5 goals (1.70)

It is common knowledge that teams in Major League Soccer tend to favor an aggressive, offensive style of play while their defensive structures remain somewhat porous—especially when dealing with clubs of this caliber—and one only needs to glance at their head-to-head history to see the pattern:

image

I won't be listing any of my other picks here because I certainly wouldn't want to violate the rules by presenting selections that lack any rigorous analysis; quite frankly, it's more of a gut feeling combined with a sense of statistical probability, but this particular matchup feels like my safest bet. 🙂

Arsenal vs. Manchester City: Over 1.5 goals @1.25 (2-2)

Historically, these matchups tend to yield a high volume of scoring, characterized by potent offensive lines facing somewhat vulnerable defensive units. While there is certainly an argument to be made for both teams finding the net and seeing three or more goals total, I have decided to proceed with this more conservative option to ensure greater stability.

FC Dallas vs. LA Galaxy: FC Dallas to score @1.4 (3-1)

In previous seasons, I found success quite frequently by backing them to find the back of the net, and they currently sit second in the league standings. They are playing at home against LA Galaxy, and given that Major League Soccer is widely recognized for its high-scoring nature, I feel compelled to take this value.
