But seriously—if I have a specific vision for how I want my nose to look, what are the actual odds that I drop $1,500 or $2,000 just to end up with something uneven or crooked?

It really comes down to the surgeon. And you, too—like, try not to bump your nose while you're changing clothes... or, you know... don't let your phone slip and hit you in the face while you're lying in bed... 🙈 🧐.
My nose isn't perfectly straight—my spine wasn't perfectly straight to begin with, so it’s not 100% even now, and the left side dips just a tiny bit more than the right. Most people wouldn't even notice, but I see it. Still, it looks a million times better than before. What I'm trying to say is, don't go looking for perfection... you don't want to be disappointed if your nose doesn't turn out exactly like the photo you have in your head. 🙂

Hey everyone on the forum, I was wondering if anyone here is planning to see or has already visited Dr. Tomljenović at the Vinogradski hospital for rhinoplasty?

In exactly 69 days, I’ll be heading in for a nose job—specifically to fix my nasal pyramid and septum :P

If you have any intel on Dr. Tomljenović, please drop a comment. Thanks! 😁🙂

I'm also looking for info on Dr. Zoran Veir (KB Rebro) ????????
But nobody is saying anything 😢 I've read tons about him, but there's zero word on his nose work, and right now that's all I care about....
Basically, I'm asking the same thing.

Dr Veirrr????

If you go private, it's definitely doable.

But honestly, nobody's really telling me anything... 😢 I've read a ton about him online, but I can't find any real feedback here, and now I'm actually getting curious...
Anyway, I'm totally with you on this question.

Dr Veirrr????

People have already brought him up in this thread—maybe you just missed some of the details. 🤷
If you look in the bottom right corner, just under the page numbers, there’s an option that says "Search this thread." Just click that, type in "Veir," hit "Go," and it'll pull up every single post where he's been mentioned. 😉

Hello everyone, I had my nose surgery this past Monday... I am removing the tampons tomorrow, having just returned home yesterday. I am counting down the days until those stitches come out; my teeth are hurting far too much. I assume it is from the anesthesia, especially since I keep waking up in the middle of the night with a dry, numb tongue 😢 I wouldn't wish this experience on my worst enemy. Furthermore, I feel a sneeze coming on, and I am genuinely terrified that if I sneeze, the stitches might snap...

Jesse Stewart said:Decided to share my experience for anyone looking into nose surgery. I had mine done at Rebro with Dr. Zoran Veir. It was both functional and aesthetic. I requested to stay in the hospital through Saturday and Sunday since I had some bleeding—nothing crazy, just felt safer being under medical supervision. Pain was non-existent. Swelling wasn't minimal, but it wasn't a disaster either. Some moderate bruising. On Monday, they pulled the packing out in a split second and it didn't hurt at all. I have to wear the splint for 10 days; today is day seven, and I'm doing fine. I've been taking Arnica montana and applying arnica tincture. No major swelling, just a little lingering discoloration under the eyes.

pozzzz,
How are you feeling now? Are you happy with the results? I’m planning on seeing Dr. Zoran Veir. Everyone raves about him for breast and mouth procedures, but nobody seems to say anything about his nose work.

Man, you really saved my life. 🙂 I haven't been around much, so I was struggling to figure out how this site works. But I'm finally getting into it now. 🙂 Hvaaalllaaa!
Finally tracked down Veir. Now I just have to wait for him to actually get back to me. Great. 🙂

Ivana, if I were to go private—meaning, I’m still basically in that first stage of deciding on surgery—I’ve pretty much made up my mind that I'm 100% going through with it...

I'm thinking about budgeting around $10 $0.00 or so—I mean, can you actually find a high-quality doctor for that kind of money? (I heard Tončić charges exactly $10k)—the most convenient and closest option for me would be seeing B. Glušac in San Diego, but I have no clue what his rates would be?

Honestly, who cares if he hiked his rates? I wouldn't go to him even if he were working pro bono. You really only need to type his name into a search engine to see the full spectrum of experiences people have had. Take this, for instance:

Whisper said:All I know is that Ostojić caused me massive issues—problems that not even three maxillofacial surgeons and one ENT specialist could fully fix. I still have a hole in the bone, though, thank God, they managed to patch up the cartilage somehow.
Based on some minor details mentioned by the surgeons from Dubrava, he actually broke the bone on just ONE side of my nose (leaving the other side exactly how it was), didn't touch the deviation at all, and left me with a hole in the bone (I assume because he didn't align the pieces properly after breaking them). Then, three months post-op, a soft tissue tumor appeared on the lower part of my nose, which I was told was a direct consequence of the surgery, or rather, the "trauma." My entire nose looked lopsided, almost as if each half belonged to a different person. There’s more to it, but I think that’s enough.

As for how he acted afterward, it was simply HORRIBLE. You could tell from an airplane flight that the nose wasn't right from day one. But no, according to him, it was all "in my head" and that kind of nonsense. "The nose looks excellent, the job was done perfectly." (So perfectly, in fact, that three maxillofacial surgeons and an ENT had to spend three and a half hours trying to salvage it). The hole in the bone, the lump that popped up afterward, the crooked nasal passages, the tip pointing to the left... all of that was supposedly "just in my head." It makes me wonder why they weren't questioning my mental state instead, considering I spent two days lying there with physical deformities and another two dealing with tumors on the MFK.

I'm thinking maybe $10k $0.00 roughly. Can you even find a decent doctor for that kind of money? (I heard Tončić charges exactly 10k). It would be easiest and closest to go to San Diego to see B. Glušac, but I have no clue what his rates are.

Check out the Leptir clinic in NYC, Dr. Zoran Veir. Personally, I think he's one of the more affordable options. If I'm doing this, I'm going to him. Let me know the price if you end up consulting with him.

Hold on a second—you're actually sending someone to a doctor whose reputation regarding noses I know absolutely nothing about (especially since you read different reviews earlier)!
I don't have anything against Dr. Zoran Veir personally, but I honestly don't follow your logic here.

How is it not clear? The girl doesn't want to go to the consultation herself—she'd rather just hear everything from someone else. 😬

I don't have a problem with Dr. Zoran Veir, but I don't get what you're doing here.

What's the point of this post? I recommended him because of the price (after looking everywhere).
From what I gathered, the guy is just asking who can take him in 9 months and how much it costs..
I was just giving my opinion and I don't see any issue with that...
Best of luck, LP

Anyone planning on staying at Rebro?
I’m scheduled for surgery to fix a deviated septum. What I haven't quite wrapped my head around is whether they actually break the nose to reset it into place, or if they just widen the nasal passages. And does this mess with the external shape of the nose at all?
I have this tiny little bump—barely even noticeable—but honestly, I wouldn't want to change the actual shape of my nose.

Dana Bishop752 said:I don't really get why this post is being taken this way? I was just making a recommendation based on the cost (looking at various places here and there).

From what I can gather, he's basically looking for someone who can take him on in nine months and asking about the price range...

I was just sharing my own opinion, and I don't see anything wrong with that...

Wishing you all the best and good luck with LP!

Look, it's not like he's out shopping for a new pair of shoes; he needs medical attention! In cases like this, anything less than actual firsthand experience shared between patients doesn't feel quite right.
As for Luka, I don't see why there's such a rush right now, especially since he's been saving up his cash for about a year and a half...

I’m planning to have surgery for a deviated septum. One thing I haven't quite wrapped my head around is whether that involves breaking the nose to reset it, or if they just widen the nasal passages? Also, does it end up affecting how the nose looks on the outside?

I have this tiny little bump—hardly even noticeable—but I really wouldn't want to change the actual shape of my nose.

If you're just having a septum repair, they don't touch the bone.
That said, you definitely can change the external appearance of the nose through various manipulations of the cartilage structure...
