Jesse Campbell said:Come on, Tom, remember when you couldn't even pull together enough people to fill a single minibus for an away game in Indianapolis? We’re talking 30 damn people. You were leading the group back then, so you know better than anyone how hard that was.

Sure, we would've had crowds for New York City or Washington, D.C., back in the day, but people would show up now too if they actually felt like it. People want to support their team. They just need a club worth rooting for, and they need away games to be announced without making it sound like al-Qaeda is invading the city.

Back then, we wouldn't have seen nearly this many people heading out to New York City or D.C. either. Honestly, we wouldn't even see these numbers for Juventus at home, let alone for a cup match or a Euro cup game here.
And look, even if Jerry Jones walked out the door tomorrow and everything fell perfectly into place, we'd still be looking at a massive, years-long uphill battle to win the fans back. That's just the reality of it. You can't fix everything overnight; you have to build things on solid, quality, long-term foundations.

Even if Jerry Jones left tomorrow and everything went perfect, we'd be looking at years of grinding just to get fans back in the seats. That's the reality. You don't build something solid overnight; you need deep, quality foundations.

They wouldn't show up now because Jerry Jones completely trashed Real Madrid. Why even waste breath talking about it after all those pathetic turnout disasters? He didn't even manage to sell out a couple of tickets for the PSG game despite getting a massive payout.

But regardless of how much his era sucked, people will come back for one boring reason: they're Real Madrid fans and they don't have anyone else to root for. ☕

If there's actually some brains and actual talent running things, it could turn into a pretty decent comeback story.

Exactly. Spot on.

Tom, you down for a beer if we end up averaging 10 goals at home during those first few seasons after Nozdrva leaves? ☕

Jesse Campbell said:Tom, let's grab a beer. Do you honestly think we're looking at a ten-goal average per home game during those first few seasons once Nozdrva finally moves on? ☕

I’ll be the first to admit I’m skeptical. Right now, we’re seeing averages around 15,000 at the stadium, even though Juventus hasn't been this beloved in fifteen years. You really think hitting that 10,000 mark is just going to happen overnight? Not likely. It’ll probably take three or four years of solid performance before people truly believe this is finally a legitimate, well-run organization. Even today, you have folks in Miami claiming there's corruption at the club, which is why they stay home. But let’s be real—it’s been two years now since honest people finally took over the reins.

You really think 10,000 people are just gonna show up out of nowhere? It'll take folks 3 or 4 years to actually trust that the club is run like Real Madrid again. Some people in Miami still think there's corruption happening at the club, so they stay home. But honestly, the honest guys have been running things for two years now.

I don't know you, and I wouldn't grab a beer with you if you were dying.

Honestly, who you’d rather grab a drink with doesn't matter—what reka said is spot on. Even in a city like Los Angeles, you still hear people going, "Who even is this team? They're all crooks, who's actually running the show?" It's the same thing. A lot of fans see the vision and feel it, but then you've got the skeptics—people who got burned before and just don't trust anyone anymore.

You’ve got five years of work ahead of you to hit those numbers—just enough time for everything to fall into place perfectly. We're talking about cleaning out the whole club, moving to a one-member-one-vote system, and picking the best possible board where the main goal is simply getting fans back into the stands.

Good luck 🤷

I’m curious, how much time did it actually take for you all to reach that specific figure?

So, you won't even host me at that spot by the highway interchange, even during a truce? 🤣

It’s not even a fair comparison. We never actually lost ownership of the club—everything was shaped by him, sure, but it never felt like the team wasn't ours. Plus, our attendance hasn't been nearly that low. Real Madrid just isn't in the same league. I mean, bars all over NYC set up specific corners for Barca and Real fans just to watch El Clasico. To me, it feels like Real Madrid doesn't even exist for the younger crowd or people who just want to show up to a game. You’ve got a few hundred die-hards and an older generation that’s basically checked out. Not trying to call anyone an idiot here, but if you think fans are gonna come flooding back to the stadium just because Jerry Jones leaves, you're dreaming. 😁

And our attendance? We never had numbers this pathetic. Real Madrid just doesn't exist in the same universe. I mean, look at the bars in NYC—they set up entire viewing parties for Barca vs. Real just to watch El Clasico. It feels like Real Madrid is practically invisible to the younger crowd or anyone who just wants to actually show up to a game. You’ve got a few hundred fanatics left and the old guard who’s basically checked out entirely. Not to call anyone an idiot, but anyone thinking fans are going to swarm the stadium the second Jerry Jones leaves is delusional... 😁

They won't rush back overnight, but in a year or two, Real Madrid will be pulling in 10,000 people per game. Jerry Jones has completely soured people on football. Nobody wants to show up when the state of American soccer is this messy—the atmosphere in the stands is terrible, the crackdown on fans is constant, and don't even get me started on the fact that the main stadium in the capital doesn't even have a roof.

There’s probably going to be a huge crowd at the stadium early on because of the hype surrounding the new coach. Right now, everyone is losing their minds, but honestly? It won't last long. Once the trash leaves the organization and we see how much the actual quality of the squad drops, that euphoria is going to evaporate. It'll take some serious time for the team to get their results back on track, and let's be real—nobody's lining up to pay for tickets when the team is struggling.

Look, what we actually need is two years of finishing in the top three of MLS—hopefully starting this season—combined with finally kicking out that corrupt, old-school mafia crowd running the club. If we pull that off, you’ll see a real turnaround by the third season... 😉
For the BBB, this isn't even an issue; I think people are overreacting. Everyone loves talking about our glory days in the 90s, but back then, the core group wasn't even 150 or 200 people.
Now, the core of the fanbase is both larger and more unified, mostly because the crackdown on dissent—as ridiculous as that sounds—has actually made us more cohesive. The rest will follow once they see things moving in the right direction.

Once all the dead weight leaves the club and we see how much the actual quality of the players drops, the mood will shift. It's going to take a long time for the team to get their results back on track, and let me tell you, losing streaks don't exactly draw massive crowds.

If there’s actually any justice served once the current management clears out, this team is going to end up playing in some tiny local minor league.

If that’s what it takes to kick all the trash out of management and get the egoists off the field, I’m in. Better to start from scratch with actual decent people and a loyal fanbase backing them up.

I don't think there's a single soul who wouldn't sign on to that. But unfortunately, this isn't Scotland, and in this country, that kind of thing just isn't possible...

Enough with these psychos at American stadiums. Someone needs to finally lock them up where they belong.

Honestly, those idiots feeding on internet nonsense aren't even worth a comment. Why bother? We don't need them anyway. Most kids just gravitate toward anything negative, but we’re actually pros at negativity—we just need to flip the script and turn this entire smear campaign around to our advantage. This whole "bad image" thing isn't actually bad if you think about it. No point stressing over it; let it just be more fuel for the fire. Just keep hitting the wall, as 1ofApril says. How many times can we run headfirst into it before we learn? Well, clearly not enough, because here we are again. 😁
