Nah.
Keep it coming...

I posted this on a different board a few days ago:

So I'm chatting with my neighbor today—he's a cop out in Columbus, part of the local Democratic Party jurisdiction—and he shows me this memo every officer at his precinct (and obviously the rest of the department) got. It lists five core directives for dealing with any hooligan. Number one on that list? Wiping out the Bad Boys. If you know anyone on the force, go ahead and ask. Check it out. I wanted to snap a photo, but I couldn't be bothered...
Anyway, he spilled some tea about all the pressure to crack down on fans. Apparently, a lot of the regular beat cops are pushing back, but the SWAT and riot squads don't give a damn—they just do whatever they're told...

Moving on...

I posted this on some other board a few days ago:

So I’m talking to my neighbor today—he’s a cop over in Columbus, part of the local Democratic Party precinct—and he shows me this written directive they handed out to every officer at his station (and obviously everyone else in the district too). It lays out five core mandates for dealing with every single hooligan. And number one on that list? Total elimination of the Bad Boys. If you know anyone in the force, just ask. Check it for yourselves. I wanted to snap a photo but I just couldn't bring myself to do it...
Anyway, he told me a hell of a lot about the pressure they're under to crack down on fans. He says plenty of the beat cops and traffic guys don't give a damn about any of this, but they've got the riot squads and SWAT units there to make sure whatever they're ordered to do actually happens...

I don't know who posted it, but that last away game for the rival crew near a suburb was right on the edge of a full-blown clash with riot police. Near the end of the match, maybe 40 guys from each side were basically itching to storm the pitch... they just didn't light a single flare, so I guess the cops didn't have an excuse to charge in yet...

And I have no clue what went down after those wild animals gathered in the stands, but I'm pretty sure things got messy with the batons...

Bidding starts now. 🙂

I finally got a hold of the author. Turns out the book is actually available... lucky me. If you want in, just shoot me a DM. I'm still waiting to hear back on what he wants for it.

Hey everyone:

So, I talked to the guy who wrote the book and we worked out two ways to handle this. First off, the guy is totally floored—in a good way—by how much interest there is. He’s already had over 15 people hit him up in just two hours. We agreed that I'll wait until the end of the week to see how many more people show up.

Just a heads-up though... he did a redesign and a new print run, but unfortunately, there are no photos in this version. No color. Adding color would make the printing costs skyrocket, and honestly? Seeing fan photos in black and white... it just doesn't hit the same.

Option one: if you aren't in a rush, let's wait until his online bookstore is up and running and synced with his tax records. The guy wants to do everything by the book; he's not looking to dodge the IRS. Price will be $20 including shipping.

Option two: if you need it right now, just get the cash to me. Once I have enough from everyone, I'll head to the post office, wire him the money to the account his accountant provides, and then meet up with him to grab the books. He wants everything strictly legal and above board 😉 In this case, the price per book is $17. Naturally, we'd pick a day to collect them, maybe sometime before the game at the Bad Boys Fan Club over in Zvonimirovo.

Take your time deciding what works best for you, then just slide into my DMs.
p.s. Right now, there are 88 copies left!

Did this book just drop, or has it been out for a few years? It's wild to me that they only printed 100 copies. At that rate, it’ll be sold out before we know it.

Option 1

Option 2

I wonder if there's a third option—maybe the author could just tell us how much it would cost to print the version with the photos? I mean, if it's only a massive jump of maybe 50-$27 per book, it might actually be worth it to have the full, original version rather than just whatever extra stock he has sitting in a warehouse...

Christian Jones said:I can't actually watch videos through links like that—my eyes aren't built for YouTube! But hey, if you can give me the gist of what happens in it, or maybe just copy over some of the comments or the transcript, I'd be more than happy to dive in. I love getting into the weeds of a good discussion, so just lay it out for me and we can go from there!

Does anyone happen to know where I can track down a copy of Blood Blue by Tom Birtić? I've been looking everywhere!

Check out that absolute trash at 1:38. 🙂

Wait, what book is this exactly? I can't quite tell from the snippet. And hey, does anyone know if this was actually one of those golden eras for the Bad Boys that we can still brag about? I'm asking because I see Mamic, Mack, and the rest of them in the video. I'm really not trying to start a Fight or anything, I promise! It’s just pure curiosity, you know? Like, which specific crew was sitting there grabbing coffee with Mamic back then? And do they still have any kind of connection to him today, or was it more of a "sorry man, we had no idea" situation later on? Just wondering. 🤷

jademarlin54 said:So, I was just scrolling through this and honestly, does anyone actually know what year this book came out? I’m totally lost here. And while we're at it, can someone tell me if this is actually one of those legendary Bad Boys eras that people still brag about today? Because, you know, seeing Mack and Mamic hanging out in the video like that... look, I'm not trying to start any kind of Fight or be provocative or anything, I'm genuinely just curious. Like, who exactly was this crew sitting in the cafe grabbing drinks with Mamic back then? And do they even have any connection to him anymore, or did they just pull the whole "sorry man, we had no idea" routine once things went south? I guess it's just one of those things I've been wondering about. 🤷

It says right there under the video.

So, I was just thinking back to that whole scene around '97, you know, when that book about the Bad Boys first dropped. Man, what a trip that was. It felt like everything was shifting right then, like we were all standing on the edge of something huge, and that book... it captured that raw, gritty energy perfectly. I mean, looking back, it’s kind of wild how much has changed since then, but that feeling of being part of something intense, something unapologetic—that hasn't really left us, I guess. It was just one of those moments where everything felt loud and real at the exact same time.

Back in 1997... back then, you had Mack acting like he was some kind of leader for the stands, when in reality, the actual core group was the ones showing up to every game and traveling to all the away matches.
Hardly anyone remembers him from those road trips during those years, let alone the specific things we pulled off.
He was probably already running his little schemes alongside Big Head, along with his buddies Chop and Debt from Kozjak.

Honestly, this book is absolute garbage. The only thing worth anything about it is the cover. ☕

He told me the price would go over $33 if they did that. Right now, he's just printing 100 copies. If it turns out people actually want this stuff, maybe he'll consider doing a color run.

Come on, Jesse Campbell, don't be such a hater. It’s not *that* bad... a few people actually told me it was worth the read.

And that's pretty much it.
Even the jokes from "LAFC" are kind of dumb, so I'm pretty sure anyone who actually owns one isn't just gonna (pro)dicate it easily, mostly because of what was said above.☕

Look, I’ve got it, but... don't go getting your hopes up too high.

Might be better to just put out another run of that Piggy book. 😉
