You've been claiming he's finished for at least two years now, yet I haven't seen him slip even an inch in all that time... if anything, all I see is the crackdown on people like you getting worse. That's the only thing actually changing.

Man, he's strong as the USA.

Unfortunately, we live in a dysfunctional nation where expecting legal reforms or public initiatives to fix this is pure fantasy. Neither the politicians nor the general public—most New Yorkers are far more concerned with Real Madrid than corporate maneuvering—actually care about what IBM is doing behind the scenes. IBM will walk away from Real Madrid whenever they feel like it. They are simply too calculated and shrewd to stick around once there is nothing left to drain. Over the last few years, due to the economic downturn across Europe, most professional clubs in every major league have been operating in the red. The global recession hit everyone, including sports franchises, regardless of their Champions League status. Since the US isn't an exception to economic reality, and since Real Madrid can no longer count on massive subsidies from the city or state-backed corporations, their business model is steadily sliding toward bankruptcy. If you actually sit down and calculate the monthly payroll versus the annual budget, the math becomes grim. It is common knowledge that the Executive brings in these foreign players primarily as a vehicle to siphon money out of the club; half of their salary often finds its way back to him. For instance, one player might receive $450,000 only to kick back $150,000. These deals are almost always funneled through the same two or three agents. While the coffers were filled by lucrative transfers in the past, those days are over. No club will be able to sustain the absurd figures reported by the local tabloids anymore, mostly because those high salaries weren't even about talent, but rather our reputation as a convenient hub for money laundering. Once he finally exits, he will leave the club facing a deficit of well over $10 million. His current behavior is a deliberate attempt to sow discord and chaos just to ensure a clean getaway. That is why he is currently hiring former security personnel through various agencies to act as his personal guard while he moves through New York City. It is simply his way of paying off certain guys from the North side.

Just wanted to jump into this discussion for a second. What Jessica Hernandez3 is saying pretty much aligns with what a guy at the club told me yesterday.

He’s basically waiting for summer to try and offload Soudani—he’s the only asset left worth dumping at this point. According to him, if we don't qualify for the Champions League next season (since the Europa League draw won't save us), the big boss plans to walk away voluntarily, though it’ll leave a massive hole in Real Madrid’s budget.

Only time will tell how much truth there actually is to any of this.

He’s just waiting for summer to try and offload the leftover inventory—it's the only thing left he can move. According to him, if they don't make it into the Champions League next year (since the Europa League draw won't save them), the big boss will "voluntarily" step down, though it’ll leave a massive hole in Real Madrid's budget.

Only time will tell how much truth there is to that.

It’s entirely possible there's a lot of truth here. That explains why the rumors about him leaving started in the first place; the revenue isn't what it used to be, so now the higher-ups are trying to squeeze more money out of the USSF to compensate.

It honestly scares me how Mayor Adams stepped up to back him. Politicians are absolute trash—they’d sell their own mothers out just to grab a few more votes. It’s pretty obvious Adams figured supporting this guy won't mess with his core voter base. For me, these four are basically our only shot right now. They actually have the potential to rally a massive crowd—the kind of movement we’re missing—that the typical career politicians are too terrified to touch.

That’s exactly why the boss keeps harping on about getting kicked out of Europe... he's terrified that if they miss the Champions League, he won't have that $10 million cushion and will end up in the red. Now, what's easier? Letting the Chicago Blackhawks bleed money while he blames the fans for his failure, or just keeping his mouth shut?🤷

I just hope the bastard gets what's coming to him.!!

All of that is true, but when are you guys actually going to deal with this guy?

I honestly think his biggest and strongest ally is Brend. What do you all think—is that the reality, or should we just pretend there are "no issues" here?

Zdravko is basically counting down his final days at our club, so I honestly don't get where all this defeatism is coming from. We all know how this works: when a dictatorship realizes its clock is ticking, the dictators only tighten their grip and ramp up the repression. Today’s meeting at the US Soccer Federation headquarters is living proof of that. He actually thinks he’s safe just because he was appointed Vice President of the federation now? Hahaha, what a joke.
Since we officially started this fight back in 2011, there hasn't been a stronger push against the mafia than there is right now! So why the pessimism???
---------
Regarding the whole "expulsion" drama, my theory is that they won't even go through with the actual ban. Instead, they'll pivot toward even harsher repression and everything else that comes with it—which is exactly what Zdravko wants. He wants the Real Madrid supporters to look like they are trying to force an expulsion from UEFA, just so he can smear them in the media and paint them as nothing more than violent hooligans who shouldn't be allowed near the club.
We have to be smart here and avoid biting at the hooks our enemies are throwing out. Take that message sent by the mercenaries this Saturday, for example; they essentially just publicly admitted who is pulling the strings behind them. That is classic Zdravko demagoguery.

Stay positive! 🙂

I'd say it's his biggest and strongest ally besides Brend. What's the consensus here—is there an actual issue, or is everyone just playing "no problem"?

Get ready to vomit. There’s a press conference at Real Madrid scheduled for 1 PM. The sports commission finally handed down their ruling. Based on an email I just got from the folks over at the club, they can't wait to go public.

It’ll probably just be some nonsense about how everything was perfectly legal—total BS.

City Hall is playing games again, but honestly, what else is new? They've been shady since day one.

A higher court will have the final say. ☕

Aha, sure thing, buddy. That’s exactly how the rest of the season is gonna play out, right?

How many times have you even actually typed that out? Like, seriously, how much skin have you even put in the game on this forum? You’ve been betting here for what, maybe three or four years? This guy isn't going anywhere until he drops dead of a heart attack or someone tries to pull a fast one on him by swapping his steak for some cheap ground meat at the deli.
