Manny, I’ve spent my entire life in handball, and honestly, my conditioning is solid. But let’s be real—some people are just genetically built different. There’s no debating it. You can spend your whole life boxing, but then some hundred-kilo powerhouse walks in and folds you in two seconds flat. Besides, if I or someone like me gets drunk or high and starts throwing punches on command, well, forget it. I wouldn't even know who's playing or what day it is.

After scrolling through about 15 pages of absolutely nothing, a few decent posts finally bubbled up to the surface. Basically, here’s the bottom line on this whole topic.
Eric Phillips52 said:the only thing worth changing is the property damage and throwing stones, and honestly, that's about it.

At the end of the day, you have to be a human being first, then a fan.

Everything else is just total nonsense. I mean, if you just act like a decent person in every situation, you really can't go wrong.
As for those people calling for street fights... I guess if there are enough of you, who's going to stop you? And if there aren't enough of you, well, thank God for that. You've got MMA and combat sports for that anyway, so I don't see much of a point. I don't really see the difference between that and just brawling in a field.

But let’s be real—some people are just genetically built different. There’s no way around it. You can spend your whole life boxing, but then some 220-pound guy walks in and folds you in two seconds flat. It's just physics. Besides, if I’m drunk or high and someone tries to start a fight, why would I even bother? At that point, I don't even know who’s playing or what day of the week it is.

So that’s the excuse now? You think you have the right to go after someone with a brick, a knife, or whatever else you can grab? Just because you don't want to walk out of some dive bar looking like a punching bag? Since you couldn't care less if someone else ends up broken for the rest of their life? Seriously? 🙄

Bricks won't do you any good. All they'll do is leave that red dust everywhere, making a massive mess of everything.

Happy Easter, everyone!

I honestly can't believe how much nonsense is being posted here. Everyone just wants to talk tough without actually stepping up.
A fight is a fight. If you’re choosing to get in one, you better realize you might walk away hurt. Doesn't matter if it's a brick, a piece of wood, a bottle, or a rock... and don't act like someone hitting you with a knee, an elbow, or a boot to the head isn't going to do damage either. It absolutely will, especially when you're dealing with guys who actually train in MMA and know exactly where to land a punch.
Like someone else pointed out, it all comes down to self-control and not making excuses. That's the bottom line.
It’s also pretty hypocritical seeing people who spent years running street crews in places like Chicago, using everything from bats and brass knuckles to chains, umbrellas, telescopic batons, or even machetes, suddenly acting all high and mighty once they take a hard hit. Look, what goes around comes around. Someday, some big-shot crew is going to be waiting for them, and they'll be bragging about their "glory days" while getting wrecked by the top gang in the country. It's a vicious cycle.

Best regards, catch you guys later. Happy Easter to everyone!

Why is everyone even arguing with this guy? It's obvious he's just trolling. What a waste of time.

A fight is a fight. If you choose to engage, you have to accept the reality that you might walk away hurt. Whether it’s a brick, a piece of wood, a bottle, or a stone—don't act like you won't get blindsided by an elbow, a knee, or a kick to the head. It absolutely happens, especially when you're dealing with people who actually train in combat sports and know exactly where to strike to cause damage.
As someone else pointed out, the only thing that matters is self-control and not making excuses. That’s the bottom line.
It’s also incredibly hypocritical for those who spent years running street crews in big cities like Chicago or NYC, using everything from sticks and brass knuckles to chains, umbrellas, telescoping batons, and even machetes, to suddenly start lecturing others once they take a hard hit. Karma is a real thing; eventually, some successful crew will be waiting in ambush, and they'll brag about their "big operations," and the whole cycle just repeats itself indefinitely.

Best regards, and I'll see you all soon. Happy Easter to everyone!

The biggest issue right now is these twisted lies designed to incite people toward sick acts of revenge...
Instead of providing a realistic account of what happened, people invent stories about massive gangs of urban thugs just so they don't look like cowards in front of their own kind. But we all know the truth: those city groups have been decimated, and you can't exactly find those types of weapons or organized chaos roaming the streets of a place like Seattle anymore.

Tuesday at 5 PM — It’s the New York Yankees vs. Boston Red Sox, and we need everyone heading to the East Coast! For those of you who haven't grabbed your membership cards yet, don't sweat it—tickets will be available for sale just a few hours before kickoff. Just look for Gate 3!

Instead of just being honest about what actually happened, people make up these stories about hordes of rioters from the city just so they don't look like cowards to their own side. But let's be real—those city folks got hammered, and you can barely find anyone in downtown LA who'd step up to help out nowadays...

I’m not even talking about how things are right now, I mean looking back at how this whole scene has played out over the last five years.
But I agree, everyone needs to chill out and stop the nonsense before someone loses their mind. Once things boil over, nobody's going to care who threw the first punch.

Up until now, I’ve just been getting involved through intermediaries...
but once I’m back in the city, I was planning on hitting up a local newsstand. Does anyone know if they actually mail membership cards outside the state?

They were mailing them out last year.

They used to send them out, but this year? Crickets. I reached out to the commissioner, and after staying silent for a month, he just told me they switched up the whole system. It’s hard to expect him to actually get anything done now. Another month has rolled by, and still nothing. 🤷
Especially for guys like us who are "flagged" and have been sending our membership ID numbers to the league office every single year.
