Look, most people are probably gonna hate me for this, but just quietly rolling over and letting them take over the Midwest? It’s honestly embarrassing—almost pathetic. This kind of thing would never have flown back in the day. Just my two cents.

Look, my take is you're wrong—without some resistance, they wouldn't get anything at all. Instead, you'd just have some Russian gang ending up on the front page of the New York Post tomorrow, tearing Real Madrid apart. In my opinion, this approach is actually more effective, damn it. It’s easy to just sit there and act tough... we're practically one step away from Real Madrid getting absolutely wrecked. Then everything goes to hell and they somehow dodge the bullets against Ludogorets. It's unbelievable how much Jerry Maguire talks shit...

Hey, think about it. What would be gained? A massive pile of new bans. Individuals, please think. This is scripted so obviously it's tragicomic. I don't understand how some people don't see it.......

If things turned ugly with the fans, damn it, 90% of the participants would end up banned. I assume you know how much coverage the North side has with cameras and what kind of pro equipment they use. It can zoom in on your pupil if it wanted to.......

And honestly, who is left to stand their ground when the vast majority of the faithful are facing stadium bans, and a significant portion of the general fanbase isn't even showing up to the games?

I actually think they handled things correctly. They stated their position and maintained a sense of decorum; now, the ball is in UEFA's court with nothing but phantom threats to throw around.

Look, I get it, everything’s fine, but we can all agree that what happened up north was basically unthinkable until yesterday. Then again, since I don't even hit up games anymore, I guess I shouldn't be acting like some kind of expert.

boldtiger7 said:Who is even going to show up to resist when most of the fans are banned from the stadium and half the crowd decides to stay home anyway?

Even if the entire starting lineup was there, it wouldn't matter because huge crowds would just end up getting arrested afterward.

Don't you people realize why they closed the east stands and stopped ticket sales for the west side?

Why does everything need to be spelled out for you?

Were you actually at Wrigley Field on May 1, 2010?! If you were, you wouldn't be typing this nonsense. 😉

hiddenfox64 said:I get it, I really do, but we can all agree that until yesterday, this kind of behavior was unheard of on the North Side. But since I don't attend games anymore, I'll refrain from acting like an expert.

That's exactly what I thought.☕

And when exactly was that supposed to happen? Back in Yugoslavia, among ninety different clubs?

Some absolute psychopath gets fifteen years in prison for attacking a woman out of nowhere, yet look at how little punishment fans actually face.

Bans, criminal records, jail time, social ostracization, even physical assaults—though violence is arguably the least of our concerns since it's often fleeting, despite what happened back in Chicago on January 15th when certain groups were ready to open fire.

Repression has always existed, but certainly not in this specific form, nor did one's very existence depend so heavily on their lifestyle choices—like being branded a football hooligan by society. At least, I believe it’s much harder to lose your job these days. So, I wouldn't call this a failure of the fan mentality; rather, it's an adaptation to a new reality. In nature, only the creatures that adapt manage to survive.😉

What can I even say? It was a total circus, all rigged by Jerry Maguire and his buddies at UEFA....🤮
-Mad respect to everyone who showed up today and left calm. Walking out peacefully was the smartest move to avoid any extra bans or bullshit👍...the cops were totally ready for a fight, things could've gotten ugly fast🙂
-No point wasting breath talking about everything that went down...that drugged-out devil still manages to convince people that nepotism, theft, and using Real Madrid for his own gain is perfectly fine...so go ahead, you sheep, whistle, complain, and screw yourselves☕

Is it true they’re holding guys at the stadium and recording everyone's info?

I honestly couldn't wrap my head around what I was seeing. There was this cop standing just a few feet away from me on the stairs, and every single time the crowd started chanting, he’d pull out his camera and start filming us—just recording the fans in the stands.
I mean, seriously, what kind of place is this? Where are we actually living?🙂🙂🙂

PS.
Word is that a bunch of people were held back in the north stands after the game because the police apparently needed to hit their quota for arrests or detentions...
Does anyone happen to know more about what happened there? Did they at least let everyone go home safely?
I really hope we aren't looking at facing another round of stadium bans...😢

From what I’ve gathered, that seems to be the case, because I ran into two kids after the game who had been detained over in the north stands; they eventually let them go since they were minors, but apparently, there isn't much the police can do with them once they're released. According to what those kids were telling me, there were plenty of them who ended up taking quite a beating from the local police presence.

I honestly think if BBB hadn't been around, there wouldn't even be a wall in Chicago covered in messages for Mommy calling people names after this 😁

I’ve never been a fan of those hardcore hooligan groups, especially the ones that cause chaos and trash the streets; seeing people spray-paint slogans all over property is just disgusting to me, and honestly, it feels bizarre when a whole match turns into a vendetta against one specific guy instead of actually rooting for the club,
but what happened today was pure insanity, like, it couldn't have gotten any crazier, having entire sections of the stands sit empty just to chant some basic stuff that you hear at every game everywhere else🙂🙂🙂🙂

I think Jerry Maguire really screwed himself over with this move, and the Bad Boys played it smart by walking out calmly (at least from what I saw, though I don't know if things got messy outside)

Bacon's just looking my way and then he's gone, which doesn't happen all that often, and I honestly never feel like writing anything about this stuff, but man, I just have to get it out there right now. I really think all that yelling of "Mamić, get out of our sanctuary!" is just kind of weak, you know? Like, you guys need to step it up and go way harder, because the guy is such a massive egomaniac that those little protests don't even phase him at all. 🤣 I seriously can't believe it. 😁 Anyway, the US has basically turned into North Korea as of today. It was already heading that way, if you ask me, but now it’s officially official.
