Look, if there actually existed a real supporter movement in this country—and I mean one that isn't just a name, but an active, mobile force rather than just sitting around being passive for years—then all these so-called "fan groups" would have shown up at Yankee Stadium together the very next time they had the chance. That’s how you actually prove the "strength" of a movement instead of just chanting about it.
Are you guys really whining about "modern football" and everything else? The guy who single-handedly gutted the entire league and wrecked every club is sitting there laughing his head off while watching the game, because the whole system works like a Swiss watch, while the fans get kicked out and relegated to the floor. Honestly, dear little ultras and fans, if this isn't your perfect opportunity to make a stand, I don't know what is. Or maybe it'll just be the same old story where everything passes with some nursery rhyme played at every other stadium. A few people will be satisfied with a tiny scrap thrown their way, and then it’s back to business as usual.
Most people are just sheep, nothing new there. But if these so-called "other fan groups" just sit there watching the slaughter and acting stupidly happy because they weren't the first ones targeted, continuing with their little songs until it's finally their turn... well, they haven't earned anything better than that.
The American supporter scene is honestly a joke—these massive groups that claim to be top-tier in Europe but act with this messed-up regional style; if it wasn't funny, it would be depressing.
Now they've moved the goalposts to verbal offenses—it's basically the US versus North Korea at this point. You have to wonder which stadium is next on the list. In the next round, and the one after that, and the one after that, you can expect an intensified repertoire of rebellion at every other stadium, followed by nothing but intellectual chatter, lawsuits, and nursery rhymes.
