It’s basically winding down, but things didn't exactly go according to my original schedule... everything just got a bit thrown off.
Thanks in advance.
I was actually on my third day of my period right when I had my nose surgery—honestly, there was just some light bleeding, nothing out of the ordinary, and it didn't interfere with anything at all. Just a pad in my underwear and everything went super !!😉Honestly, I even had my abdominal surgery right in the middle of my period—but back then, I just used a tampon because during an abdominal procedure, you have to be completely naked. The only thing that actually gets noted on your medical charts is that you're on your period, and that’s it—plus, in my case, they added a specific note stating that I had a tampon in.😉

But trying to get surgery at a major hospital like the Mayo Clinic while you're dealing with that kind of blood loss? Forget about it. There's absolutely no chance they’ll touch you until that's sorted out—and honestly, it feels like it's coming down to the very last second. Why don't you just pick up the phone, call them, and ask?😁
That’s just plain wrong.🙂Look, please don't try to lecture me or spread misinformation if you aren't absolutely certain about what you're saying—it’s unhelpful. I had my surgery at Dubrava KB, and everything went perfectly smooth—no issues whatsoever. One thing that definitely needs to be emphasized is whether or not someone is on their period; while it might not be strictly mandatory in every single case, there’s no reason to make a fuss about it. I really don't see why some doctors feel the need to turn that into such a massive ordeal when they should just leave it alone.
By the way—you really need to make sure you mention the menstrual issues to the anesthesiologist at the hospital. 🙂
