How do I bold my signature?

So, how does one go about making their signature bold? And while we are at it, what is the best way to bold any text or even add some color to my posts?☕Thanks so much for the help!

Just so you guys know, BB code is totally disabled for signatures, unless you're just using straight URL links.
It’s been stuck like that for a really long time now, I guess.

Is there actually some reason why they suddenly pulled that option off the table?

Look, I think Nicin is talking about the technical side of things here, not whether we have permission or not. I just tried it myself, and I can still use the bold function through the standard options menu without needing some moderator's approval—it works exactly like it always has. That doesn't mean there isn't some weird glitch or bug preventing the dev team from fixing it while letting everyone else through, though. But if this is actually against the rules, we really ought to check with someone from the corporate office first.😁

For registered users, it’s just locked down from a technical standpoint, I guess. As for why they actually set it up that way? Honestly, I haven't a clue.

As far as I can tell, they’ve basically locked that feature down for registered users from a purely technical standpoint. Honestly, why they made that call is anyone's guess—it feels like a total roadblock for no apparent reason.

It feels like I’m dealing with some kind of glitch here. The last time I tried to use the bold function, it just wouldn't cooperate with me. I ended up having to manually type out the code through the options menu just to get it to work, and surprisingly, the system actually accepted it.🤷

If that’s how it plays out, this whole thread feels pretty redundant to me. 🙂
