San Antonio Spurs vs Memphis Grizzlies Under 197.5 @ 1.85
7/10A little throwback to last year's playoffs—you know, the way that ended for everyone—and here come the Spurs again. They’re coming off a brutal game against the Los Angeles Lakers where they let Andrew Bynum drop something like 30 points, including 8 on putbacks. Kobe didn't play, so I guess this loss might actually sting even more; it's a real gut punch in their fight for the top spot in the West. Their defense has been looking sharp this season, which is basically the secret sauce behind their record, along with that depth coming off the bench. Plus, they're playing on a back-to-back, so I'll take that as an extra little edge for this bet. Meanwhile, Memphis is on a tear, picking up wins against the Miami Heat, Dallas Mavericks, and LA Clippers. Their defense has been lockdown, especially in the paint where it's tough to find anyone who can actually handle Zach Randolph, Pau Gasol, or Andres Speights.
Carlos Boozer vs Tim Duncan Over 1 @ 1.75
6/10Carlos is facing the Miami Heat today, and honestly, they've been pretty weak at the 4 and 5 spots lately, so I wouldn't be surprised if Carlos puts up a decent number. Rose is just getting back from injury, so he probably won't be hogging all the shots, which might leave more room for Boozer to find his rhythm. Tim Duncan is looking good, but man, he's getting older, and these back-to-back stretches aren't doing him any favors—especially after that grind against Bynum yesterday. Memphis has one of the best interior defenses out there, so they'll likely try to shut Timmy down.
Doubles Golden State Warriors vs Dallas Mavericks 2nd Half Over 2 @ 1.40
Minnesota Timberwolves vs LA Clippers 2nd Half Over 2 @ 1.45
@2.03 4/10 Dallas is fighting for a playoff spot, so every single game feels like a playoff game for them right now. As for the Warriors, they're coming off a loss to the Portland Trail Blazers. They're pretty far out of the playoff hunt, though, so I don't know... maybe they'll even start tanking for a better draft pick? Who knows.
The Timberwolves are dealing with a massive injury crisis right now—it's just one thing after another. They got handled easily by the Denver Nuggets yesterday, and I'm thinking the same thing might happen today against a Clippers team that's been pretty underwhelming on the road, even if they're feeling themselves after beating the Oklahoma City Thunder.
