I’m basically outplaying myself here... I thought we were in control, but things shifted fast at the end of the first quarter. Orlando held a slim 14:13 lead, and then—bam—Lucas sinks three straight triples to push it to 14:22. Talk about a momentum killer!

I honestly can't believe they're breaking them down like this.

There's a 15-point gap. Just go home, you amateur.

That guy hit a three-pointer from Philly right at the buzzer... naturally, it kills my parlay since I played $184.50 less than that... unbelievable... 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂

Orlando should start making some serious moves in the third quarter... there’s still plenty of time left on the clock—after all, a 15-point lead in the NBA is practically nothing at this stage of the game.

Orlando is a unique case. It’s all or nothing with them. Right now, it looks like a big nothing.

Arthur Hill2 said:Orlando is a weird one. Their whole vibe is "three-pointers or bust," but right now? It’s looking like just bust.

And they’re pushing those threes despite having zero presence in the paint. Why? Look, I’m no tactical genius, but even I have to wonder what they're thinking here.

wiredwalker4 said:Man, that three-pointer from Philly in the final seconds—of course, that’s the exact thing that kills my parlay after I played everything else perfectly... just heartbreaking! 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂

And let's be honest—even after that shot went in, Higgins still had two free throws lined up that he ended up missing anyway.

Edward Gonzalez36 said:What kind of center are they running this with while they push so many three-pointers? Why??? I’m no expert on basketball tactics, but I really want to understand this logic.

It comes down to the fact that a center can play the pick-and-roll, though Chicago isn't really leaning into that tonight.

Orlando built this roster specifically around Howard. You'll notice that on paper, everyone is a solid shooter—Turkoglu, Anderson, Redick, Nelson, and so on.

The plays become predictable after just five minutes. If you take away Howard and his elite defense and offensive presence, this team would be right up there with the Charlotte Hornets fighting for the worst record in the league.

Deng finishes with 8 points on 3-for-9 shooting. Every single three-pointer they attempt feels like a nail-biter where we're all just praying for a miss.

Look at Orlando—they’re already up by 10 after just four and a half minutes... an 8-3 run to start things off. If they can manage to hold onto at least a 5-point lead by the end of this first quarter, we might just be looking at a massive comeback attempt later on.

I feel for New Jersey. They really had it in their grasp.

yawn, Orlando 🤣

Look, I’ve learned from experience that you never, ever bet against them—unless they’re sitting as the underdog. 🙄
Howard basically defaults to being an underdog anyway, and honestly, that's been paying off way too easily lately...

They’re a damn tough crew to call, there’s no two ways about it.

Look, I’ve learned the hard way: you never, ever bet on them unless they're the massive underdogs. 🙄

Honestly, this was a lesson for me too.

If things keep going like this, even the heavy hitters are going to be looking over their shoulders.

We’re entering the final quarter, and without Rose, they look incredibly thin on depth.

It’s a safe bet that Deng hits the over; I’ve got him on my fantasy roster in my local league, so he basically has a legal obligation to deliver 🙂

Greetings to all my fellow Jamison enthusiasts and fans of equality. 🤣
I’ve been off the grid for a few days, but it feels good to get back into the old routine. Though, I suppose that streak of bad luck isn't going anywhere anytime soon; it seems to be sticking to me like glue.
Boozer 👋but I'll take the popcorn.
The previous play was a minor one and honestly already forgotten. I have a few favorites lined up for tomorrow that I won't dive into just yet—we have the whole day ahead of us for analysis. For now, it's time for sleep.

🙂

Rough night. Getting killed by that Philly under was the worst part.
