It looks like Gregg Popovich is pulling another tactical move, and since we're staring down the final leg of this five-game stretch, anyone playing fantasy ball is probably going to feel the sting of these lineup changes. Our best guess is that Gary Neal steps in to run the point, while Matt Bonner gets the nod at power forward. We're also guessing that they'll be back in action for Thursday's All-Star Break finale against the Nuggets.

Honestly, I don't quite get why they’re resting players just a few days before the All-Star Break. What's the logic there?

By the way, Rudy Gay didn't even come close to hitting the mark. Who even bets on the under in this league? ☕

The Spurs are absolutely tearing it up lately. They've been on this massive tear, riding an 11-game winning streak which, I guess, is the longest run we've seen all season. This hot streak has vaulted them right up to 2nd in the West, just trailing behind the Oklahoma City Thunder. Their last win was a total nail-biter, too—they barely managed to scrape past the LA Clippers. Looking back at those 11 wins, they actually cleared this specific line 10 times; the only outlier was when they played Memphis. It seems like most of these Western Conference teams are leaning heavily into the "over" this year. Everything is just played so fast and looks so flashy, which is probably why everyone is glued to the West more than the East lately. Portland plays with that same high-octane energy, especially at home where they put up huge numbers but, uh, give up plenty too. Honestly, I just have to take the over here because, in my opinion, a 91.5 margin feels way too low—it's probably a 5 or 6 point difference easily.

NBA news: Tim Duncan and Tony Parker are sitting out tonight's matchup against the Blazers to get some much-needed rest.

Gregg Popovich is pulling his usual moves again, and since we're staring down the barrel of the final game in a heavy five-game stretch, fantasy managers are basically just going to have to suck it up and deal with the fallout. It looks like we'll see Gary Neal stepping in at point guard, while Matt Bonner gets the nod at power forward. As for the big guys, we're also guessing the Spurs will have Tim Duncan and Tony Parker back in action for Thursday's All-Star Break finale against the Nuggets.

Until unknown starts dropping those odds and margins, let's give this a shot:

• When it comes to Amar'e Stoudemire, the outlook is pretty clear since the New York Knicks have such a massive roster of consumers right now, especially with a solid defender like Nate Smith waiting for him on the other side.
• Ricky Rubio should really be able to exploit how weak the Utah Jazz are defending the backcourt, because honestly, Gordon Harris just isn't providing much of a guard defense.
• Kobe Bryant is probably going to have a rough night trying to navigate through that Dallas Mavericks zone, since they are incredibly disciplined at shutting down guards.
• The Phoenix Suns should walk away with an easy win on their home floor against a struggling Golden State Warriors squad, especially considering the Warriors haven't managed to beat them in their own arena for almost seven years.
• If the Boston Celtics don't have their rhythm, they basically don't stand a chance. 🤷☕

I just don't see how the Wizards are actually ten points better than the Kings. Neither team is playing particularly well right now, but the Kings looked decent enough against the Miami Heat yesterday. If they play like that today, they could easily pull off the win—or at least cover this spread.

Chicago vs Milwaukee 2 @ 1.30
Look, Chicago is the better side and they’ll probably take the win, but since when do they blow out the Bucks by 20? No matter what the past stats say, I haven't seen a game like this coming. The Bucks had a day off, too, so they should be able to hold them close enough to stay within that margin.

Phoenix vs Golden State Warriors 1 @ 1.60
Nicholas Chase34 nailed it: the Warriors haven't won in Phoenix since the Stone Age, so there's zero chance here. Plus, back when they played ten days ago, the Suns practically beat themselves.
