I managed to hit 😁, though I totally blew it on another ticket by going way too heavy on the Chris Evans over 😢.

For today, I guess my best bets might be the Hawks and the 76ers, maybe.

Kobe Bryant was at 26 yesterday 😁 watching the Milwaukee Bucks blow a nearly 20-point lead—absolute disaster. Kevin Love had 20 shots, what a legend...

What do you guys think about taking the Clippers at 2?

What’s the move on taking the Clippers at +2?

Personally, I’d take them... they look a bit more polished than the San Antonio Spurs

Memphis vs OKC 2 1,90

So, we're on day three of the season, and we've got last year's big playoff surprise, the Memphis Grizzlies, taking on one of the heavy title favorites alongside the Heat—the OKC Thunder. Memphis dropped their opener against the San Antonio Spurs, who, by the way, are the same squad they knocked out of the playoffs last year, though this time the Spurs took them by double digits. On the other side, OKC is sitting pretty with two wins after Orlando fell to a bolstered Minnesota Timberwolves squad, 104-100. OKC hasn't actually changed their roster this season, but I guess you could say their biggest upgrades are just having a year older Westbrook and Kevin Durant leading the charge. Honestly, Memphis didn't really blow me away in their season opener, and they weren't exactly impressive in those two matchups against the New Orleans Pelicans either. They've got Rudy Gay back in the mix, along with the reliable duo of Zach Randolph and Pau Gasol, which is basically the core trio driving this whole Memphis group. The odds look pretty solid here, so I'm definitely grabbing this one 😁

Still gotta try to catch these today

Maybe San Antonio vs Los Angeles Clippers (h-10.5) at 2.10.
Though if you ask me, I think even the Clippers pull it off.

though I’m honestly leaning towards LAC pulling it off entirely.

I reckon that hits without any issues at all 😁

I’m liking Atlanta at 1/1 - 1.50.
There shouldn't be much trouble here either—especially given how bad Washington is playing lately.

And considering what the Nets just pulled off...🙂

Today I have a solid pick Pacers -3.5. I am really liking this Indiana squad; I expect significant progress this season, a top 4 seed in the East, and Coach Frank Vogel taking home Coach of the Year. 😁 They handled the Pistons at home with ease, though if you exclude Jerry West, Danny Granger, and Darren Collison—their primary shooters—the shooting wasn't exactly clicking. However, they were dominant on the boards; West, Roy Hibbert, and Tyler Hansbrough combined for 39 rebounds. Granger, George, and Collison provide a very balanced starting five, while Jones and Hill serve as useful bench pieces. They play disciplined, smart basketball without forcing plays; they only committed 10 turnovers against the Pistons. The Raptors seem much weaker inside, relying on Amir Johnson and Andrea Bargnani, who is a defensive liability, along with Davis and another Johnson coming off the bench. They shoot well from deep, but they look far less cohesive to me, even if their shooting percentage against the Cavaliers was high.
Over the last three seasons, the home team has won every matchup between these two, but Indiana has improved significantly in the interim, whereas Toronto hasn't. I expect a win by about 6-7 points.

Can someone please c/p today's basic NBA lines? 😍

analoghound21 said:I have a feeling people will be cursing his name until the end of the season 😬

Minnesota needs to start playing better on the road—otherwise, don't even bother looking at the playoffs. 🤷

Personally, I don't see Minnesota having a shot at the playoffs. They lack the depth to crack the top ten in a West that's incredibly competitive right now. 🤷

A fake punt here—Indiana is playing away, right? I suspect the spread would be even wider if they were at home. 😁
The Pacers should take this one; they're the better side, boasting a balanced roster where five players can consistently drop at least 15 points.
Granger is struggling again—just a continuation of those poor shooting numbers from last year. 🙄

Thanks. 👍

Rough offer—honestly, nothing catches my eye except for the mention of Indiana Jones. 🤷

I’ll dig into the details this afternoon and let you know how I'd play it.

Memphis - OKC 2 1.90

Thunder have lost 5 out of their last 6 trips to play in Memphis, so even though those odds look pretty tempting, I think I'll probably pass on this one.

DraftKings...
The Lakers are sitting at -10.5 against the Utah Jazz... and honestly, looking at those numbers, I’m just not seeing it...

Rating: 6/10

The Lakers are playing their third game in three nights, and they’ve already dropped both matchups... It’s going to be an uphill battle trying to take down a rested Jazz 11 squad, especially considering how much Gasol is struggling with those injuries...

The state of Utah... 🙄

If it hadn't been for that incredible opening night performance from Utah Srića, he’d be sitting deep in the negatives right about now...

0-1 (-6 units)...

Toronto vs. Indiana Pacers: 2 - 1.57
4/10

Unlike Washington, which lacks any real substance, Indiana actually has some seasoned experience under their belt, and honestly, they look like an absolute powerhouse this season... They dismantled Detroit with ease, and I fully expect them to put on a similar clinic tonight. I’m particularly looking forward to seeing them absolutely bully the Raptors on the boards...

#3
Atlanta vs. Washington on January 1st... I'm looking at a 1.50 line for an Atlanta win...
5/10

The Atlanta Hawks have their entire starting five rested up for tonight, eyeing that seventh straight home win... Given they’re staring down a brutal stretch of nine games in just twelve days, they absolutely cannot afford to drop anything against a Washington team like this. On the flip side, I doubt the Washington squad even understands how badly they blew that lead against New Jersey, proving once again they lack the maturity required for the big stage... just like I mentioned in my preview.

Does $2.40 look like a bad deal to anyone else for the Clippers? 😕

this is basically how the main lineup looks right now

I mean, it looks pretty tempting, but let's be real—they're playing the Spurs at home... though if we're talking pure value, then yeah, absolutely 👍
it could actually turn into a hell of a game—you'd have Paul vs. Parker, Billups vs. Ginobili, Butler vs. Jefferson, Griffin vs. Duncan...
