Please fix Carol Diaz31 and White Window—send mine over too if it’s not too much trouble 🙂. I haven't pulled the trigger on surgery yet—I'm hitting up an ENT at the hospital first to see what they say about my breathing issues and my nose drooping more and more 😁 then I'll figure out my next move.

Sophia Booth35 said:My friends won't stop teasing me. They keep pointing out my nose, commenting on my eyes... It's like they don't even grasp the difference, or why on earth I would have paid all that money for these changes.😍
My nose actually looks quite similar to how it used to be—honestly, they probably didn't even notice anything was wrong with it before.
And as for my eyes? A subtle little lift, really. They were clearly expecting some massive Hollywood transformation.
So now, they just won't let it go and keep making jokes about it.😍

Oh, let them tease you! Honestly, let them.🙂 They can see the difference too, they just feel the need to poke a little fun at you. And even if they don't catch the nuances, the most important thing is that *you* see the change and feel more confident in your own skin.🙂 .. that’s what truly matters..

Honestly, I think I’ve officially gone public with the photos, mostly because my inbox is absolutely overflowing with messages from you all!
Just give me a few days to get myself together; I’m still dealing with some swelling and looking a bit blue, plus I can't exactly snap the perfect shot by myself.
I haven't quite figured out who to invite over to my place to take them, and let's be real, I am definitely not setting up a full-blown photoshoot in a Starbucks.
Patience is a virtue, right?

So, quick question for the group... is anyone here a smoker? Personally, I can definitely handle a cigarette when the mood strikes. It’s been nearly two weeks since my surgery, and honestly, I’m starting to crave one alongside a cold beer or maybe a glass of wine 😁... Has anyone actually smoked after their procedure?

June 7th at 2:00 AM—last cigarette.
June 7th at 8:00 AM—surgery.
June 8th at 6:00 AM—first cigarette.
And ever since then, I've been smoking like a chimney, just like I have for the last 15 years.

Oh man, that's great... I haven't even lit a single one yet 😁... and look, I'm no big-shot smoker, but still... boom, you'll be hooked by tomorrow morning 😁 teehee...

Carol Diaz31 said:I think I'll send them over to everyone for two main reasons—if you can call them that:

1) Honestly, I get this little rush of happiness every single time I look at my old nose while I'm sending out these photos. It's strange, I guess. 😂

2) And, well... I suppose I just want to hear people tell me how great my new nose looks, maybe just to balance out all those times I had to hear how much I hated the old one. 😂

For me, for me, please!

Maria Hall92 said:Ladies, any of you smokers out there? I’m dying for a cigarette right now... It’s been almost two weeks since my surgery, and honestly, a smoke with a beer or a glass of wine sounds like heaven 😁 .. Has anyone here actually smoked after their procedure?

I quit 🙂
...though I still indulge here and there when the craving hits... you know, like having a glass of wine on the weekend 🙂

Carol Diaz31, that sounds amazing! My nose was actually pretty similar to yours before—now that it’s been a month and five days since my surgery, the only thing that really gets under my skin is that width along the sides... everything else feels great, I guess. How long has it been since your procedure, and when did that width finally start to fade away?

Haha, well that is exactly what I am planning to do today 😁 wow, but let's be honest—not just with one single glass, more like a few! LOL 😁

They finally pulled the nasal packing out today. It feels incredible to actually breathe through my nose again and catch some scents and flavors.
Do I really need to keep sleeping with the head of the bed elevated?
Now that I can actually see the tip of my nose, I’m dying laughing because my left nostril looks slightly smaller than the right one. Honestly, though, the entire left side of my face is just less swollen than the right. I can’t wait until Wednesday when they take the cast off... even if I know the swelling isn't going anywhere, at least I can already see my nose tip is lifted. 😁

Has anyone else here visited Tony and walked away feeling anything less than thrilled?! Because I’m starting to feel like maybe I’m the outlier here—don't get me wrong, he didn't do anything "bad" per se, and everything is technically fine, but I can't help but feel like the reduction should have been a bit more aggressive? I really think there should be enough room left to go back for a secondary procedure without having to overthink it too much 😕. Also, does anyone have experience with getting the nasal midline corrected? I'd love to hear what your results were like!!

Do I really have to keep sleeping with my head propped up on extra pillows?

Haha, it was exactly the same for me! One side felt totally blocked while the other was a bit more open... and let's just say my nose looked like something out of a horror movie 😁 hahaha, hang in there, it’s going to look better and better every single day 🙂

It’s not that he did anything "wrong"—everything is technically fine—but looking at it now, I really think he should have scaled things back just a touch. In my mind, there’s still room to go for a revision without having to overthink the whole process 😕. Also, I’m curious if anyone has had work done on their nasal septum and what that experience was like for you guys?!

I actually went to Tony myself, and I’m really happy with the results! I’m still very much in the early stages—it hasn't even been two full weeks yet. It might look a little larger than what I originally envisioned, but I know that's just because of all the swelling and inflammation right now... it's still super puffy. When did you have your procedure?

About a month ago—and look, I’m not saying it was a total disaster right now, because honestly, the whole team was wonderful to me—everything went smoothly with the surgery and all that. In fact, if I think about it, I’d go back to him again for a second procedure! Part of me even feels like it's my own fault for not being more insistent on certain details. When I finally took the mold off, everything seemed fine—though, looking back, maybe it could have been a bit smaller—but then I took a photo and...😲from the front, you can clearly see the nose is tilting the wrong way! It’s quite noticeable; it lost a lot of its shape, and while I know it still needs time to settle, I just don't think it's going to straighten itself out naturally... so, there was a little drama and some crying for a few days, and I eventually concluded that I'll need another procedure. But ugh, I really don't feel up to it, especially since I don't want to go through those seven days of recovery all over again! Still, I will go—I'm just terrified he'll tell me it looks perfectly fine and that I don't actually need a revision. I have my follow-up appointment in a month, so we'll see what he says. I didn't want to cause a scene with him or myself any sooner than necessary, since I can't go immediately anyway—plus, I have no idea how long the healing process needs to be before a second 🤷
