So, how are you guys doing with the sutures? It’s been 7 weeks since my surgery, and I can feel one in my nose—but it just won't come out. 🤷 I'm asking because after my first procedure, they all just fell out on their own within a few weeks, but these ones aren't budging... and honestly, it's driving me crazy.

Mine didn't budge for over two months. It was incredibly annoying because it was such a long one. Just hang in there a little longer.😉

Exactly, once those sutures fall out, how am I supposed to know when they're actually gone?
I’m basically just sitting here waiting for them to drop out because that’s when my nasal bridges are supposedly going to level out. Right now, I’m totally stuck because the stitches are still holding everything in place—one side feels more tightly anchored than the other, which is why one bridge is sitting higher than the rest.
Seven weeks????? Oh man, noooooo. I honestly don't think I could wait that long. I just want my nasal bridges to be perfectly symmetrical right now!div>

My cousin is heading in for nose surgery tomorrow, so I’m sending all the good vibes her way. She’s dealing with this nasty tonsil inflammation right now—can barely even swallow—so I’m just really hoping everything goes smoothly and she doesn't end up with any lingering throat issues after the procedure...

Ladies, I’ve spent the entire morning just staring at myself in the mirror—honestly, I can't stop... my nose looks absolutely stunning, and it seems to be getting smaller by the day! I am just so incredibly happy about it that I felt compelled to share this little bit of joy with all of you, haha 🙂🙂🙂

I just have to share some good news with you all 😍

I had my surgery yesterday, and the doctor says my nose looks absolutely perfect, like a little piece of candy 😍 I’m not in any pain at all; there’s just a tiny bit of nasal bleeding, but I’m still figuring out how to manage the nasal swabs—my husband is actually much better at it than I am 😁

The only thing is, I won't be removing the tampons until Friday 😢 though I'll be taking off the splint this Saturday.

Overall, I'm feeling quite satisfied for now, and honestly, the whole process has been much easier than I had anticipated.

What kind of anesthesia did they use, and which surgeon did you go with?

Thank you so much!!!

Regarding general anesthesia—I actually went through the whole process with Dr. Bastaic, and I have to say, I was incredibly pleased with the entire medical team. There were about five people in the OR with me during the procedure, and the nurse stayed by my side throughout the night to check on me.

As for the aftermath of the anesthesia, I just felt a bit drowsy for a few hours. I didn't deal with any throat soreness, I was able to use the restroom on my own quite easily, and I didn't experience any dizziness or nausea at all...

Hey Linda Wilson82, I’d love to see a photo too—if it isn't total garbage 🙂. Honestly, seeing how happy some people seem here makes me want to jump straight under the knife myself 🙂. Also, I wanted to mention that all those photos my girlfriends sent me—you know, showing off their noses—turned out amazing. I mean, if they didn't look good, they probably wouldn't be sending them 😁, right? But everything I've seen looks more than good enough. It actually gives me some hope, because let’s face it—I am a massive coward!

Hey girls, I've been lurking here forever but finally decided to jump in and say hi! So, I finally pulled the trigger on nose surgery this year and came looking to you guys for some advice. I was seriously overthinking which surgeon to pick, but I ended up going with Tony, and oh my gosh, I am just SO incredibly happy with how everything turned out!! It's been seven days since the procedure and I just got my cast off! The result is honestly beyond amazing! I’ve still got some yellow bruising under my eyes and my nose is a little puffy, but overall, it's looking great! I have to say, the local anesthesia wasn't scary at all—it was actually kind of an interesting experience! The whole medical team was wonderful, and I had this young doctor who did such a phenomenal job!! I seriously can't wait for the swelling to go down so I can see the final look!

To all the ladies who underwent their procedures this week—bravo! Sending you all my best wishes for a speedy recovery; things are going to look absolutely wonderful once the swelling goes down! 👍 Just a quick note regarding Tony's anesthesia—it worked perfectly for me! It was locally administered, but honestly, I didn't see, hear, or feel a single thing... based on everyone else's posts here, am I right in thinking it's mostly just the younger patients or those who had surgery more recently? 😕 I still have to ask: has anyone actually had a corrective procedure for a nose that was botched by Tony?! I really need to know before I decide whether or not to go through with that specific combination myself! 🤷

I hope you have a quick recovery; things should settle down once the worst of it passes. 👍 Just wanted to weigh in regarding Tony's anesthesia. For me, it worked out fine; it was local-based, but I honestly didn't see, hear, or feel a single thing. Looking at these posts, I guess it seems like it's mostly just the younger crowd getting surgery lately.😕 The question remains: has anyone actually dealt with fixing Tony's botched nose job? I'm trying to decide if I should go through with him for my own procedure. 🤷

I was just talking to one of the girls on here about anesthesia. I guess the issue in America might just be how much people panic about it. 😁 Maybe you could just try to push it out of your mind—to forget it, feel it, or whatever helps. I don't know how things are going on your end, but if I hadn't read a few negative stories about that local situation, I’d probably be feeling much calmer right now. Instead, I can't stop dreaming about it at night. 😁 😁

To be perfectly honest, I’ve heard all sorts of rumors too—but my curiosity simply got the better of me! Look, the thing is, being under that kind of influence is almost like being on a constant high; you experience things and hear things with this total sense of indifference. Even afterward, everything stays that way because you just can't think straight! It isn't quite like going to the dentist—it's not that it doesn't hurt, but rather that you're fully aware of what's happening and exactly what they're doing to you. You're just floating in your own little world, totally relaxed, where nothing hurts and there’s absolutely no trauma involved. When I finally woke up, it was as if nothing had even happened—just a bandage on my nose and a "well, time to head home" feeling. Honestly, it was nothing special at all. 👍

Yeah... it’s basically just like going to the dentist! And dentists do all sorts of things... they perform surgery, they make incisions and whatnot...
I’m getting up early tomorrow... my surgery is at 9 AM... wish me luck! I'll check back in later, assuming I don't decide to jump off a balcony from the sheer misery of it all LOL

Jeremy Barrett7 said:I had surgery myself, and this is what I look like now. 🙂 How long did it take before you noticed any actual progress? Like, has the swelling gone down or have things finally started to even out? Man, staying patient through this process is such a struggle! 😁

Oh wow, honestly, yours looks great... LOL if mine had looked like that, haha! Mine was easily five times worse than yours; 😁 I seriously looked like I’d been run over by a truck with my nose looking like that, haha. 😁 But those initial stages are already behind you now. 🙂 Just take it slow, you're doing fine. How's your day going so far?
