Elizabeth Fox57 said:What really caught my eye about Glusac is his "closed technique"... because from what I’ve read, using the open method means a longer recovery, and you might even end up with those tiny little bumps on the nose??!!! No, seriously—if anyone knows—does the closed technique involve removing part of the skin? I want to slim down and narrow my nose, so wouldn't some skin need to be removed for that?

The skin isn't actually sliced away; rather, it eventually "shrinks" and adapts to the new shape of the nose over time—unless we're talking about an extreme case, which I doubt is your situation. Honestly, I can tell you from firsthand experience. The open technique gives the surgeon more precision since they have a direct line of sight, allowing them to handle specific details much better (depending on what your specific needs are, of course...). On the flip side, the closed technique is great because the swelling goes down faster. HOWEVER—and this is a big however—right after my closed procedure, a bump popped up that has never gone away. Even my doctor couldn't tell me what it was or where it came from.🙄 My recovery was definitely slower (the second time I had surgery, I went with the open technique), and it took quite a while—though that probably wasn't just due to the incision, but other factors involved in my case too. Ultimately, it might be smartest to let whichever surgeon you choose make the call; they know best how to achieve the look you want and the most effective way to get there. Either way, good luck!

wearybear18 said:Rachel Martinez94, thanks for having my back. I actually had my surgery this past Monday, and they finally pulled the nasal packing out yesterday... man, what a relief! A nurse handled the packing removal, and then Tony Bennett popped in just to check if everything was looking okay. It was super quick, and I was out of there in no time. I’m still stuck wearing this nose cast, though, and I am counting down the minutes until it comes off on Monday. Honestly, I feel like a total freak walking around with this thing on my face, but hey, if the docs say it’s necessary, I guess I'll suck it up! I'm not in any pain—not even a little bit. I know that sounds wild, but my rhinoplasty wasn't painful at all. I've been laying low until yesterday, using gel packs to keep the swelling down... I'm getting pretty tired of being stuck in bed, and let's be real, I'm definitely not hitting the club with this cast on. Getting the packing out was fine, and now I'm just dying to see the final result on Monday. I know it's going to be swollen—everyone tells me that and keeps saying it online—but I already know it's going to look smaller and that the bump will be gone!!! 😁 😁

So glad to hear the surgery went smoothly. Wishing you a super fast recovery and hoping you love the results once that cast is off! 🙂

Quick question: does anyone know if it's doable to hop on a bus (about a 2-hour ride) right after the procedure? I don't live in the city where the clinic is, so I'm wondering what the cost is to stay overnight near Tony Bennett's office. I think I saw someone mention on here that staying near Glumicic costs around $80.

I’ve got a deviated septum, and man, breathing through my nose is a nightmare. My left nostril is basically always plugged, so I end up mouth-breathing most of the time. Every morning I wake up feeling totally wiped out—it takes me at least 3 or 4 hours just to shake off that exhaustion. Sometimes I even get these killer headaches...
Because of this, my voice sounds all nasal, which makes talking to people a real struggle. Plus, I’m a college student right now, and I really don't want this holding me back once I graduate and start my career. I'm wondering about the process for getting surgery—should I hit up my primary care doctor first to get a referral for more tests before heading to a hospital for the actual procedure, or what?
Is there any way to get this covered by my health insurance, or am I better off just paying out of pocket to get the surgery done properly and get it over with?
(I’m not rushing into surgery right this second since I’m still in school; I’d much rather wait until summer once everything settles down.)

Has anyone here actually gone to see Glusac for a purely cosmetic procedure? I'm looking for some real-world intel regarding what the initial consultation is like and the total cost of the surgery itself. Also, if you could share details about staying at the hotel nearby, whether they take credit cards, and any other logistics, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

So, I finally pulled the trigger and bought a package for a nose procedure for $1.25 at the MM Clinic over by the pond. I’m looking to get rid of a specific scar, and the doctor was actually pretty reassuring—he mentioned there shouldn't be much bruising since it's such a minor tweak. I'll have to wear a splint and tampons for about three days. I've got my consultation scheduled for next week with the actual surgeon who will be performing the work. My big hope is that there won't be any unexpected extra fees; the deal I grabbed is specifically for a tip correction, but I'm secretly hoping he can also narrow it slightly and smooth out that bulge on the right side. We'll see what he says. Honestly, I'm not nervous about the surgery itself. My real anxiety is all the logistics. I'm terrified of losing my job and then being stuck with a bill I can't cover. Plus, I'm dreading my mom's reaction when she finds out I used her credit card for this! She'll probably think I've lost my mind. Then there's my sister, who will definitely give me grief about needing a week off work—since it won't count as paid sick leave—and the whole "who's going to drive you home?" situation. Oh, wait, I figured that part out; I'll just call an Uber. 😁 First, I need to scrape the cash together to pay my mom back before I can actually go through with the surgery. Until then, I'll basically be living on bread and water while constantly worrying about what everyone is going to say to me. 🙄

Does anyone know which surgeon Marijana Batinić went to for her nose job? Honestly—if I had those results—I’d be flaunting that look every single day! 😉

I'm actually in the exact same boat—I'd love to hear those details too. 😁

I have an upcoming surgery scheduled in a few weeks to address a deviated septum and some chronic allergies. I'm curious if anyone here has undergone a similar procedure—what was the recovery process like, did you encounter any complications, and how long was your hospital stay?

Currently, my nasal congestion becomes quite severe the moment I lie down, and unfortunately, standard over-the-counter sprays and drops haven't provided much relief.

@rowdyharbor19—I’m pretty sure that coupon only covers the tip of the nose, not the whole thing.
Just a heads-up for anyone wondering: you’ve got one day left to grab that coupon for a nasal tip procedure for 3 $117 (it claims you save about 5 $0.00, but honestly, that feels a bit steep to me) and you get a mole removal thrown in for free.

So, if a full rhinoplasty is around 10,000 and the tip correction is 5,000, we’re looking at 15 $0.00 for the entire job. Does anyone know if you can actually do both at once? Or is it smarter to wait for the nose to heal from the first one before jumping into the second?

Also, I’m curious—what parts of your noses have you guys had tweaked? I feel like I want almost everything done. 🙂 The bump, slimming the bridge where my glasses sit, narrowing the nostrils and that little bulbous part above them, and obviously the tip. I suspect the total would end up being more than 15,000. And yeah, I’d definitely go to Tony Bennett.

She went to Glumicic! Her nose looks absolutely stunning now, such a perfect result...

Oh, really? I haven't seen him in person, but looking at these photos, he looks flawless to me. And yeah—it definitely made her look better.
Is that a verified fact though?🥳

Is that confirmed info...?🥳

She was 100% right about him. She laid out exactly what she wanted and what she didn't, and he followed her lead to a T. Honestly, that reputation he has is such a myth... it's just that our girls won't admit they were actually looking for that specific look—you know, small, compact, totally Hollywood...
You look even more stunning in person! You know how much photos depend on the lighting and the angle...

Rachel Martinez94 said:I am so incredibly happy that the surgery went well—wishing you a speedy (full!) recovery and hoping you feel wonderful once the swelling from the mold is gone.🙂

I was wondering if anyone knows whether it’s possible to head home by bus immediately after the procedure (it's about a two-hour ride)? Since I don't live in the immediate area—and I'm curious about the cost of staying near Tony Bennett—I think I read somewhere on this forum that staying with Glumicic is around $75.

Thank you for the kind words. And, well, here I am—the proud owner of a new, beautiful, feminine nose... 😁😁😁 Honestly, if I had realized what kind of life-changer this would be—this long-awaited transformation—I probably wouldn't have waited this long. Yes, there is some swelling, of course, but I'm sure it will subside. The hump is gone, it looks smaller, and I couldn't be happier. If it's true that everything really settles into place over the next few months, I can only imagine how perfect it will look; even now, I’m thrilled... 😁 As for staying overnight, I actually didn't need to—they cleared me to go home in the afternoon. Why did you assume I would need to stay?

wearybear18, would you mind sending over a before-and-after pic?
I’m actually thinking about getting my nose shaved down too—just trying to get a rough idea of what to expect. I have this nagging feeling my nose is just so masculine that there's no way to make it look pretty, elegant, or feminine.

mistydriver62 said:@rowdyharbor19—I suspect that coupon applies strictly to tip rhinoplasty rather than a full nose job.
So, just to clarify for anyone out of the loop, there is only one day left to grab that voucher for a nasal tip procedure for $3,000 $117 (it claims a savings of roughly $5,000 $0.00, though that feels a bit steep to me) and you get a mole removal thrown in for free.

Essentially, if a standard rhinoplasty runs about $10,000 and the tip correction is an additional $5,000, we are looking at $15,000 $0.00 for the whole thing. I wonder—can those two procedures actually be performed simultaneously? Or would it be wiser to wait for the initial swelling to subside before opting for the second stage?

Also, I am curious about what specific adjustments you all have made to your noses. Personally, I think I’d want almost everything changed. 🙂 The bump, narrowing the bridge where glasses sit, slimming the nostrils and that little area above them, and, of course, the tip. I imagine the total cost would likely exceed $15,000. And yes, I would certainly choose Tony Bennett.

In my case, they removed the bump and slimmed my entire nose. I paid $3333, and since my surgery was purely cosmetic, it might be best to just go in and ask directly.😉

Hi urbanowl13... I'll take some photos and send them over via DM. I'm not really comfortable posting those kinds of pictures publicly.😉

Has anyone here actually gone through with rhinoplasty if you're dealing with thicker skin—you know, that kind of "potato" nose shape?

You ladies have really helped lift my spirits with this talk about Glumicic. I’m actually heading out in exactly ten days, and I’m just hoping I can finalize all the details exactly how I want them before the surgery. Fingers crossed for me!

Hey... I noticed a few of you have been singing the praises of Tony Bennett. I actually ended up seeing both him and Dr. Baudoin over at the clinic near the vineyard.
To be totally honest, I found Točnić a bit more personable, though I can't say anything bad about Baudoin either. Also, Tony Bennett told me he pulls the tampon after three days, the mold after five, and I could be back out in public in about ten days, whereas Baudoin wants to leave the tampon in for five, the mold for seven, and says I won't be ready for society for another three weeks...
So, what do you guys think? Any personal experiences or recommendations you can share?
I’m really hoping to get rid of this "thing" I'm carrying by late October so I can breeze through my midterms and other college stuff in the middle or end of November...
😕
