Honestly, I’m checking in as the proud owner of a brand new, beautiful, feminine nose... 😁😁 😁 Seriously, if I had known what kind of transformation this was—the change I've wanted for ages—I wouldn't have waited this long. Yeah, my nose is a little swollen right now, but that’ll settle down. The bump is gone, it looks smaller, and I am beyond thrilled. If it's true that everything really settles into place after a few months, I can't even imagine how light and perfect it'll feel. I'm already loving it... 😁 As for staying overnight, I didn't actually need to stay at the clinic; they sent me home in the afternoon. Why do you think I would have needed to stick around?

I don't want to be a burden at home or have anyone looking at me while I'm dealing with all those cotton swabs... 😁 They've been hovering since the surgery, and I don't want to put them in a spot where they feel guilty if something goes sideways during those first three days. I don't know why people get like that, but hey, parents will be parents. 😁 🙂 Any chance you could share some before and after photos? I’d really appreciate it! 🙂

Regarding that thickened skin on the nose... when I emailed Tony Bennett about it, he basically told me that surgery can't fix thickened skin, though maybe I just totally misunderstood him. 😢 😕

Oh, absolutely—I am definitely preparing... my mind is about 98% made up toward Glusac. I'm still in the information-gathering stage, though—so ladies, if you wouldn't mind, could you please share some before and after photos? And if you could mention who you went to, that would be amazing! THANK YOU!

In person, she looks even better. We all know how much photos depend on lighting and angles...

Her nose looks quite natural. However, I wouldn't go so far as to say that women who end up with a snubbed nose after surgery by Glumicic were specifically asking for that small, upturned look.

Quite the opposite—plenty of them explicitly asked for something else, only to walk away with an over-operated nose that looks just like Blankin's. You can see the evidence in the posts here, and in the sheer number of people needing corrective surgery from other surgeons.
Besides, that "upturned" look hasn't been the standard in Hollywood for twenty years now.
Honestly, her nose is a massive upgrade compared to the other famous noses he tends to butcher.
That’s just my honest take.😉

Actually, so many of them ask for something else entirely, only to end up with a pinched look, almost like Blankin's. You can see it in the posts here, and even in stories about people needing corrective surgery from other doctors.
Honestly, her nose is a total win compared to all those other famous noses he tends to rush through...
Just my honest take.😉

This might sound weird, but I actually know 12 people who had their noses done by him. They aren't celebrities, so I can't show you photos of how gorgeous their noses turned out...
Let me list a few famous names that haven't really come up much here—just Google them and you'll see Glumicicev's work. I'm talking about Iva Jerkovic, Lorena Nosic, Iva Šaric, Tihana Runje, Jelena Šimić, Brankica Čonda, Marko Grubnić, Indira Mujkic, Marija Cvitanovic, Lejila Sehovic, Ivana Hoty, Ecija Ojdanic... Now I probably sound like some Glumicic superfan or a propaganda bot, but he really is a master at the aesthetic side of things. A friend of mine came in with a photo of some model with a tiny nose, and he explained how the symmetry of her lips, eyes, and cheekbones meant that specific nose was way too small for her face. Now she has this perfectly balanced, beautiful nose! He seems to prefer a slightly more "snubbed" profile, but personally, I think it's such a lovely feminine look. I swear, women walk into his office with pictures of Severina or Angelina and insist on having those exact noses...
I'm pretty well-informed since I deal with this same crowd in my own line of work.

Now I sound like I’m defending Glumicic or some kind of propaganda mouthpiece, but honestly, he really does have a knack for the aesthetic side of things. A friend of mine came over with a photo of a model with a small nose; he explained the symmetry of her lips, eyes, and cheekbones, and convinced her that her current nose was too small for her face. Now she has a perfectly balanced, beautiful nose. He prefers that slightly chiseled profile, though personally, I think it’s a lovely feminine look. I’m telling you, women walk into clinics showing him photos of Severina or Angelina, insisting on those exact nose shapes.
I'm well-informed because I interact with the same demographic through other channels.

Some of the women mentioned have beautiful noses, but I am not a fan of the specific nose styles he has given to several famous women.
Severina (her first nose), Nina Morić, Blanka, Josipa Pavičić... And both Nevenov and Markov have noses that are far too small and overly feminine.
Judging by the posts here, my own observations, and conversations with women on various forums who have had work done, the consensus is that Glumicic tends to follow a template. It's always the same classic: lift the tip and depress the bridge, often without considering the rest of the facial lines. A frequent issue is that he removes too much cartilage.

A good nose needs to be in balance with one's facial features. The "less is more" rule doesn't apply here, nor can you judge a nose in isolation; it shouldn't be the centerpiece of the face. In fact, my definition of a beautiful nose is one that integrates seamlessly, drawing attention to other attractive features rather than the nose itself.
A surgeon who cannot achieve that isn't a great surgeon.😉
I'm not trying to drag anyone down, but this is my critical assessment of his extensive body of work. This opinion is rooted in my own experience and firsthand accounts from others, which haven't been particularly positive either. Most people point to very similar aesthetic issues and a highly recognizable "signature" style.
Then again, taste is subjective; everyone knows what they want for themselves.
Unfortunately, I can't say I consider him a master of rhinoplasty. I wish I could. There.🙂

As for me, I am 100% set on Glusac. Before I pull the trigger and book everything, I wanted to ask the women here who have gone through purely cosmetic procedures: what kind of pricing should I expect? Is there an option for financing or monthly installments, and how long is the current waiting list? Also, how long does the mold need to be worn? I'm trying to figure out exactly how much time I'll need to spend in Makarska...🙂

A friend of mine showed me a photo of this model with a tiny nose, and he spent the whole time breaking down the symmetry of her lips, eyes, and cheekbones until she was convinced her nose was way too small for her face. Now she’s got a perfectly balanced nose. He prefers that slightly contoured profile look, but if you ask me, it’s a beautiful feminine profile.
I mean, I get why people are talking about this since I run into the same crowd through other circles.

Forgive me, but are we seriously calling this an operated nose?!

darkhawk10 said:I've officially decided on Glusac. Before I put my order in, I wanted to check with the girls who went solely for cosmetic surgery—what was the actual price tag? Is there an option to pay in installments, and how long is the current waitlist for a procedure? Also, how long do you have to wear the compression garment? I need to know so I can figure out how many days I'll need to stay in Makarska... 🙂

The price was 2,000 bucks. Not sure about installments since I just paid the whole thing in cash. I had to wait a month to get my turn because he was over in Germany, and I only held onto the mold for about a week, though the wraps took much longer... If you can swing it, I think a week down there should be plenty of time, provided you have the availability... 🙂

Laura Booth56 said:The price tag was $2,200. I actually paid the whole thing upfront in cash, so I'm not quite sure how many payment installments they offer. Since the specialist was working over in Germany, I had to wait about a month just to get my appointment. As for the recovery, I kept the mold on for about a week, though I stayed in the compression garment much longer than that. Honestly, if you can swing it, I think a week is plenty of time to stay down there—assuming you have the vacation time to spare. 🙂

Thanks so much for sharing those details! 🙂 It seems like the aesthetic version runs a bit higher; some of the ladies were mentioning figures around $1,600, but I suppose the final cost really varies from person to person depending on the specifics...

darkhawk10 said:Thanks for the heads-up! 🙂It sounds like the aesthetic part is way more expensive. Some girls were mentioning prices around $1,600, but honestly, it feels like everyone ends up paying something totally different...

Look, I went in for both the function and the aesthetics, and they slapped a $1,850 price tag on me. Seriously, don't count on them having any kind of fixed pricing. You show up for your consultation and then—bam—they just drop a number on you. I have absolutely no clue what their logic even is.

In my opinion, this was an excellently executed job.

I find myself agreeing with you. Even though I suspect some people here will jump in to claim her nose is a disaster, I actually think it looks lovely. If only I could pull off something similar... honestly, I haven't seen a single photo of Glumicic's nose that I would ever consider a catastrophe.

My bad, I thought you were doing the functional one too. I figured I only needed the aesthetic part, but turns out I had to get the functional done as well.
I went this summer and paid about $2,200... and so did everyone else who went around that time.

I've been thinking the same thing, but hey, everyone has different tastes and I don't want to get into an argument about it.
Personally, I think Blankin's nose looks way better than her old one—it really suits her face.
And honestly, the rumors about Glumicic operating on Nina Moric-to? Totally fake. She had some issues while she was in Italy... it's just funny how people take gossip and run with it like it's gospel.

Aha, no worries at all! It honestly felt a bit strange to me that the purely cosmetic option would cost more than doing both the aesthetic and functional work together.👍

Personally, I thought Ecija looked a hundred times better with her own nose. It actually suited her character, and her face just had way more expression and beauty because of it.☕

Exactly! And this is why when people ask for recommendations here, it's so tough—everyone has such different tastes...

It’s been three months since my surgery, and this little bump just won't budge... :'( It’s clearly visible from the left profile, though it doesn't show up at all from the right side—and when I run my finger along the left side, it feels almost like there's a tiny indentation. Good grief... :'( Is the nose still actually changing after three months????
