Plus, when I run my finger along the left side, it feels like there's this tiny little divot. Oh man... :'( Does the nose even keep changing three months out????

Where exactly is this bump located? If it’s right at the tip of your nose, it might just be there to stay. See, once you move past the bone and hit the cartilage, things work differently. Bumps on the actual bone usually smooth out because they're just bony growths that take about a year to settle down. But if it's sitting on the cartilage... well, that might just be your new reality.
Same thing is happening to me at the tip... the cartilage is just a bit thicker on one side than the other...

It’s the same for me at the tip... just one side of the cartilage feels a bit more prominent than the other...

Oh, thank you so, so much for getting back to me... honestly, I feel a little less anxious now. It’s located on the nasal bone on my left side. I noticed you mentioned having those same kinds of bony protrusions on your nose—did yours actually go away? And if they did, how long did it take for things to settle down?

🙂🙂 I honestly can't even begin to describe how thrilled I am! (Of course I’m not thrilled about it—but honestly, it’s a relief) just to know I’m not alone in this, that I’m not losing my mind or just imagining things. Eight months ago, I went to Tony Bennett for an operation. I was very specific with him: I told him I just wanted that little bump smoothed out because I wanted my nose profile to be straight—to keep it looking like "mine." And at first? It was perfect. For the first month, maybe a month and a half while the swelling was still settling down, it looked totally flat. But now that the inflammation has completely subsided, the profile looks different again. It’s like the bump is making a comeback. As soon as the swelling went down, it wasn't smooth anymore; from the side, you can see this unevenness—it's almost like the hump is returning. It is incredibly frustrating. Now, don't get me wrong—the doctor is fantastic, and he did exactly what I asked him to do. He even specifically asked me if I wanted a bit of a "saddle" shape, but I said no—just take the bump away. So, technically, he followed my instructions to the letter, but the result is driving me crazy.
I honestly thought I was just imagining things—that whole swollen hump thing—but now it feels like it's actually coming back after all that swelling went down. 🙂🙂 And only after six whole months do I finally bother showing my face back on this forum—what an idiot. Honestly, though, I’m feeling a lot better now. It’s not like I was being conceited or anything. I actually called them today and laid everything out on the table. I've got a follow-up appointment this coming Monday to see where we go from here. Despite all that, I have to say—I am absolutely thrilled with them. Especially the nurses; they are genuinely wonderful people who give 200% when it comes to looking after their patients. 🙂 I can't recommend Dr. Tony Bennett enough—seriously, go see him. 🙂 The service was top-notch—honestly, you could pay them in a million installments and it would still be worth it. My only mistake was not speaking up right away to ask if I could hop on for a quick ride; I didn't want to push my luck too much, but looking back, I should have. Has anyone else had a recent experience with Tony Bennett, or dealt with this whole "back-cracking" situation lately? 😠

Yeah, I was actually there at the local hospital, and I HEARD EVERYTHING—it just didn't really sink in until two or three hours later once I finally woke up. Honestly, sometimes when I'm dreaming, I can even hear the sounds and conversations of the doctors and nurses drifting in.

I've got my appointment booked with Tony Bennett for October 25th.
Does anyone actually remember their surgery? 😕 Because he mentioned they give you some kind of drug that basically wipes your memory so you won't recall a thing afterward...
I’m looking to get a rhinoplasty to lift the tip, reduce the bulbous part, and just slim down my whole profile a bit... does that little bump really come back for everyone, or what? 😕

Honestly, my nasal bones were just a total mess of bumps right after my surgery. When you have those fractures, the bone starts growing back all unevenly. You know that feeling when you slam your shin—not the calf, but that front part of your leg—against the edge of a coffee table? If you’ve ever done that, you know exactly what I mean... it’s like this weird little protrusion pops up on the bone. That bruise/bump usually subsides pretty quick, though. On your nose? It takes way, way longer. It feels like this persistent swelling right on the bone itself.
It’s been a full year for me now, and honestly, when I run my fingers over my nose today, everything feels super smooth and level. That extra bony texture is completely gone. I can't even pinpoint the exact moment it finally flattened out.
The same thing happens if a bump is actually broken off. But if they try to sand it down... hmm... word is that can cause a bunch of tiny little micro-bumps to form in that spot. That’s why people don't really recommend filing down the bumps anymore...

Do you even remember that operation? Seriously, does anyone actually have a memory left? 😕 He actually told me they hand out some kind of drug that induces total amnesia—the kind where you just wake up and have absolutely no memory of anything that happened!
I seriously need to get my nose lifted, shrink that little bump at the top, and slim down my entire profile... Does that weird little hump actually show up on everyone, or is it just me? 😕

🙂Good luck—maybe I'll see you at the doctor's office. 🙂 Honestly, I can't tell if this happens to everyone or just me—for a second there, I was convinced my situation was totally unique. I genuinely thought I was just imagining things, until I finally sat down, hopped onto the forum, and did a bit of digging... and lo and behold, I stumbled upon quite a few people dealing with the exact same thing. 🤷 Look, mostly I’m just hoping that whatever mess this is, it doesn't happen to you—but maybe, just maybe, it actually works out in my favor. I'll find out the whole truth during my checkup this Monday.😁

Do you even remember that operation? Seriously, does anyone actually have a clear memory of how that whole thing went down? 😕 He told me they hand out some kind of drug that triggers total amnesia—you know, the kind where you just walk away with absolutely zero memory of what happened!
I seriously need to get my nose job—maybe shrink that little bump at the top and slim down my entire profile a bit... Does everyone actually end up with that little hump, or is it just me? 😕

Regarding what I can recall—look, I don't remember every single detail—but then later in the dream, it all came rushing back. I could hear the doctor and the nurse talking, saying something like, "Here, please hold onto this for me," or some variation of that. And that was it. Apparently, the whole thing lasted barely thirty minutes. 🙂 Honestly, if they would just keep talking like that—just a little bit longer—it’d be perfect. Seriously, that’s exactly it! That's the sweet spot right there. 😛 😁

I know exactly what you mean, and I totally agree. In my case, they only did filing—or at least, that’s what I was told happened. Though, looking back, I suspect they might have had to break some bone too; I'm not entirely certain. Next time, I’m definitely going into my consultation and the actual procedure with much more information in hand. I've already found a few photos of nose shapes I actually like, so I'll bring them along to see if my expectations are even realistic. My sister mentioned that for me, it's just a "minor correction" at this stage, once I explained what's actually bothering me. Did you end up seeing Tony Bennett?

Look, if I had my way, I’d have to lift my nose, shrink that little bump at the top, and slim down my entire profile—honestly, it’s a lot to deal with. But seriously, does this bump actually happen to everyone, or am I just out here dealing with a unique disaster? 😕

But you know what? It’s not even about him—he did the job exactly how I told him to do it. Honestly, nobody could have predicted how much of a transformation this would be once everything healed. Looking at my nose now compared to how it used to look... it's like night and day. It's a total miracle. But, if I’m being completely honest, I still wish it were just a little bit more defined—maybe a touch more of a saddle shape. And don't get me wrong, I'm not blaming the doctor—this is about me, plain and simple. Don't take that the wrong way! 😁
If you want to send me those before-and-after shots, go ahead—I'll take a look if you're offering! 🙂

I actually went to see Tony Bennett and my nose has that nice upturned look now. 😁
Send those photos my way?

Hey there, I'm really glad I stumbled upon this thread
Hopefully someone here can point me in the right direction?
So, I’ve been dealing with this issue with my nose—basically, the main bone that shapes it slants from the right toward the left, and then near the tip, it kind of twists back toward the right. It’s funny because you can barely even see it in bright light—most people tell me it isn't even noticeable at all. But the real trouble starts when I smile; suddenly, my face looks totally asymmetrical. On the left side, I feel like I look terrible—it makes my nose look huge (even though it actually isn't) and gives it this weird, sunken, twisted appearance—it's honestly such a nightmare—whereas on the right side, the tip looks perfectly lifted and cute.
I hope that gives you a decent enough mental picture. Does anyone know what this "thing" is actually called, or where I could go to get it fixed—and maybe an idea of what the cost might be?
Please help! I'm feeling pretty desperate here

oh man, I would love to see those pictures... 🙂))
Anyway, I'm just hoping everything turns out fine. I tend to be an optimist, so I try not to dwell on things going south... as long as it doesn't end up looking huge like it does now, I'll be happy. 😁 See, I don't even have a hump, it's just that my nose is overall too big, and the surgeon said he'd slim down my whole profile and fix that cartilage part that 'cuts' the shape, then add some graft to the tip to lift it up (since my tip is a bit 'hollow,' 😂).
He also mentioned that in maybe a year or two, the nose might 'drop' slightly again, which means we could potentially do another graft using ear cartilage... so tell me, would a follow-up like that fall under the 'warranty,' or am I looking at paying out of pocket again?

I'm a bit out of the loop here—can someone give me a quick rundown on how this all works? What’s the deal with Dr. Glusac (he's based in Makarska, right?)? Roughly what am I looking at in terms of cost for a rhinoplasty?
Also, is it possible to bundle procedures—say, narrowing and straightening the nose at the same time?

So, I have an issue with my nose. The main bone that shapes my nose slopes from the right toward the left, and then near the tip, it kind of twists back toward the right. Honestly, you don't even notice it in bright light—most people tell me they can't see it at all. But now, things get weird when I smile because my face looks completely different depending on which side you look at. On the left side, I look terrible—it's like my nose is collapsing, making it look huge (which it really isn't!) and skewed to the left (just awful, truly). Meanwhile, on the right side, the tip looks perfectly lifted and cute.
I hope you guys get what I'm talking about. If anyone knows what this "phenomenon" is called or where I can go to fix it—and maybe roughly how much it costs?—please let me know.
I'm honestly feeling pretty desperate here.

I'm not entirely sure of the medical term, but it immediately made me think of the actress Kristin Davis—you know, who played Charlotte on Sex and the City🙂. I'm pretty sure she deals with something similar. One side looks perfect and cute, and the other looks just like yours, especially when she smiles or pouts. Whatever it is, I'm certain it can be fixed—there's nothing that can't be corrected these days. For me, the procedure cost about $3.25, or rather $3.75 since I ended up putting it on a credit card payment plan. I don't think that was too bad; I looked into several other clinics and couldn't find anything significantly cheaper that actually seemed competent. Give Tony Bennett's clinic a call and ask for Vesna🙂 👍. Just explain the situation to her, and she'll give you some advice on what to do or help you set up a consultation. Good luck!🙂

Thanks! 😍 I've noticed Leighton Meester has a similar issue, too.
The worst part is, I'm still a minor...
Could that affect getting treatment?

Look, regarding your age—I honestly can't say for sure. But my gut tells me you probably need to be an adult, maybe even well into your 20s since you're still growing.🙂
