How do you guys handle nasal rinsing? Honestly, nobody ever gave me the heads-up about doing this... 🤷

I ended up picking up a Rhino Horn device and some saline solution from the local pharmacy. If you're looking to save a few bucks, you can actually just mix your own salt water (aim for that 0.9% concentration) at body temperature instead of buying the pre-mixed stuff. It’s surprisingly effective at clearing out the nose and flushing all that junk away from the mucous membranes.

Aha, so you mean something like Neti Pot 🙂... I've never actually tried that myself, though I definitely know about the method—it sounds like a fantastic way to handle congestion. Honestly, nobody ever mentioned that I should be rinsing my sinuses like this! I really ought to pick one up soon. I've known about them for ages, but there's just something about the idea of pouring water into one nostril only to have it flow out the other that makes me a little squeamish. It sounds a bit gross, doesn't it? Is it actually as unpleasant as it sounds?

Honestly, I’m still rinsing my nose out every single day, even though my surgery was nine months ago. It doesn't hurt at all—if anything, it just makes everything feel better. Plus, it keeps my sinuses clear so I’m never dealing with that annoying stuffed-up feeling. 😁

What I do is grab some saline solution and a syringe from the drugstore. I fill the syringe up with the saline, then spray it into one nostril and then the other... after that, you just blow your nose to clear it out. Pro tip: when you're blowing out one side, just plug the other nostril with your finger to get the pressure right.

Yesterday they finally removed my cast, and let me tell you—one look in the mirror and I was on cloud nine!
Dzepina (Ivo) delivered the nose of my dreams. I realize there’s still some swelling to deal with, but I couldn't be happier. Honestly, I haven't been able to stop staring at my reflection since.
The nostrils look perfectly symmetrical now too... I can't wait for a few more days to pass so the swelling finally goes down!🙂

I haven't been able to stop staring at myself in the mirror since then.

If anything, the whole process was worth it just for the relief—at least now I can actually breathe through my nose without any trouble! 😁

So, I finally picked up some saline solution and a syringe. Here’s my little routine: I fill the syringe with the saline, then give a quick squirt into one nostril and then the other. To make sure it really gets in there, I blow out through one side while plugging the other nostril with my finger—it's like clearing out a clogged pipe to get everything flowing smoothly!

I just stumbled upon this video, and I honestly can't stop thinking about it. It’s one of those pieces that really makes you pause and reflect on how we perceive things. You know when you're watching something and it hits you with a perspective you hadn't even considered? That was exactly my experience here. It’s beautifully put together—not just visually, but in terms of the actual message being delivered. It reminds me of those deep conversations you have late at night where everything suddenly feels a bit more interconnected. Definitely worth a watch if you have a few minutes to spare and want something that actually sticks with you. 🙂 This is honestly such a game-changer. If you're looking for a solution, the Neti Pot—or that Rhino Horn device—is pretty much the gold standard. It really does the trick. 🙂

I finally pulled the trigger on nose surgery this year, and I came here looking for advice. After a lot of back and forth, I ended up choosing Dr. Tony. Today is my seventh day post-op, and I just got the cast off! I am sooooo happy!! The result is better than I expected. There's some yellowing under my eyes and the nose is a bit swollen, but overall, it's great. I have to say, the local anesthesia wasn't scary at all—it was actually kind of interesting. The whole team was wonderful, and the young surgeon who did the procedure was phenomenal. I can't wait for the swelling to go down to see the final look!

Could you tell me one thing? I heard they tie your hands... did they tie yours too 😲?

They certainly did mine... but honestly, they have to. Just imagine if you accidentally smacked yourself right in the nose mid-surgery!

I’m feeling completely lost right now.
But honestly, let me just say this first: a huge congratulations to everyone who just went under the knife!

As for me, I actually got caught on camera at a party yesterday, so as soon as those photos hit my inbox, boom—I'm posting my nose transformation side-by-side.

My doctor told me he managed to pull off about 90% of what he originally planned. That last 10% fell through because the bleeding just started going crazy—it was relentless. He couldn't exactly push through that, so he had to pivot to a different method a bit later on. But, apparently, everything turned out fine.

Look, alright, that happened right after the injection 🙂. And even if it hadn't, they have to cuff you—it's not like you're in a prison camp or anything 😁 haha, so why stress over such nonsense? 😁

Maria Hall92, I’ve been a little out of the loop myself🙂—Come on! Once I finally figure out how this all works (I just discovered the various sub-forums on this site, and honestly, even the main forum itself is a bit of a maze 🤣)—and once I gather enough courage to grab a drink and relax, I’ll take a new photo. Then I'll send it over to you for an honest opinion! I'm really hoping I can pull it off in the next few days 😂

Here is a little reality check for all the cowards lurking on this forum 😉 Listen, people—cosmetic surgery really isn't the big scary ordeal everyone makes it out to be. Personally? It wasn't even a big deal at all! I went to see Tony, and honestly, everyone was just so incredibly kind to you. They give you a little poke in the rear that you don't even feel, escort you into the OR, chat you up, and crack jokes just to help you relax. Then comes the anesthesia—you just slide your hands under those straps and the little IV—and from what I’ve heard, once that kicks in, everything becomes a bit dreamy. You hear things around you and feel a tiny bit of sensation, but there's zero pain; you're basically so high you wouldn't even notice if someone started pulling on your leg! You just feel amazing! In my case, I slept like a log—and if I did wake up at all, I don't remember a single thing. 🤷 You sleep for a bit, they move you around, and then... well, then comes the slightly annoying part. It doesn't hurt, but it is sooooo irritating! 🙂 There’s a bit of bleeding, you’re sleeping in a semi-upright position, you can't breathe through your nose so your mouth gets dry, swallowing feels a little weird, and your eyes swell up so you look a bit rough for a moment. Plus, you have to deal with the packing, which can be itchy—but let's face it, it all only lasts about seven days! So, it's really no biggie. Honestly, I could probably do this another hundred times, though I am hoping Tony will fix my nose during the next round so I can just skip the whole conscious part entirely! 🙂 😂

I’ve been thinking... how much longer do I have to wait until Sunday just so I can finally get this crap out of my system?
My throat is killing me, and even though I'm chugging liters of fluids and practically muttering "tick-tock" to myself, nothing is happening...
Anyway, I'm trying my best to stay calm so I can just power through this...

Maria Hall92 said:Fair enough, that was after the shot in the butt. 🙂 Even if it isn't, they have to tie things up. It's not like you're out in a combat zone or anything. 😁 Haha, I guess there's no point worrying about something that stupid. 😁

When I was caught. 😁
So, I have a bit of a weird question... do they actually put you on that machine where you can hear your own heartbeat? 😛
One more thing—do they put that needle in your hand during surgery? You know, the one in the vein, if you know what I mean. 😁 ?
I think I know what you're thinking... she’s probably watched way too many movies. 😍 I guess I'm just one of those people who needs to know every single detail. Everything seems to weigh on me. 😲 🙂
Yeah... and thanks for putting up with me. 😁

Well, I’m finally free from those nasal tampons too! 😁 Honestly, I was absolutely terrified about the extraction process, but it turned out to be nothing at all. I felt a little sting in my right nostril where the tampon had been stuck, and while I was waiting for them to pull the left one, they already had it out. 😲

I feel like I can breathe like a dragon now—I can sense every single scent! 🙏 I am just so incredibly happy... I’m taking the mold off tomorrow morning, and I honestly can't wait. 😍

Kate Taylor59, hang in there. For me, the tampons seemed to get easier to handle every day, and they didn't end up pulling mine until the fourth day.

Jeremy Barrett7, I have nostrils just like yours in that photo with the mold; I feel much better knowing yours turned out flat. Congratulations on such a beautiful nose! 😍
