Best PC remote controls?

Does anyone know if there’s such a thing as a remote control for a PC?

What’s the goal there? I’m definitely not talking about constantly toggling the power on and off—that seems unnecessary. But if we're discussing using it to manage a media center, say, for something like a home theater setup...

If we're talking about managing a media center... having more functions available would definitely be a great addition.

Man, I really wish I could just dust off that old TV tuner card along with the IR sensor and the remote... it’s just that my lack of motivation and general brain fog won't let me get it done right now... but you know, one of these days it'll happen, and maybe it'll just be a quiet little whisper 🤣

I’m on the hunt for a decent remote for my PC—specifically looking to control Windows Media Center (running on Win7). I really dig the look of the Logitech Multimedia remote with keyboard, for instance. That said, I’m totally open to a more traditional-style remote too—you know, the classic handheld kind without a trackball or a full keyboard—as long as it has dedicated function keys for navigating the media center. I remember seeing some old iMON gear floating around back in the day, which was pretty cool. Honestly, I’m open to any and all suggestions. It doesn't even matter if it's available locally; if I have to hunt it down on eBay, then so be it. 🙂
