Your Highness (2011)

Danny McBride blew up a few years back with solid turns in movies like "Hot Rod", "Pineapple Express", and "Tropic Thunder". Next year, he’s dropping a big-budget fantasy comedy called "Your Highness," which he co-wrote with Ben Best. It’s being helmed by David Gordon Green, the guy behind "Pineapple Express." The cast is stacked with heavy hitters like James Franco, Zooey Deschanel, Natalie Portman, and of course, Danny McBride.
The US release is set for April 8, 2011.

I just finished watching 😁 and I have to say, the film is an absolute riot 🤣
It really gave me a good laugh, honestly, quite a bit.

What is actually going on with David Gordon Green? He’s an author with massive potential, yet he keeps wasting it on this kind of garbage. And from the looks of it, his next project is headed down the exact same path...

I watched it last night, and honestly, I’m a huge fan of that kind of humor. It was such a great movie.
And look, I’m a woman, but Natalie is 😍

Honestly, I wasn't really feeling it.

I'd give it a 4/10, and even that's being generous just because I was cracking up when the wizard told everyone to roast him—otherwise, it’s a solid 3/10 for me.

The film is perfect if you just want to grab the crew and head to the theater to mess around...😬

Did this ever make its way to theaters here in the States, or should I just hunt down a DVD version?

Honestly, don't even bother downloading it or wasting your cash on this junk

It’s an okay film. There is one scene where you will absolutely die laughing—seriously, tears involved—but there are also moments where you just find yourself thinking, "My god, how stupid is this?" Still, I suppose it works if you just want to turn your brain off and relax. It hit theaters here in the States quite a while ago. Personally, I’d probably just wait to catch something like this on a streaming service, since you can basically watch them the same day they premiere back in their home countries. 😁

The first thing that pops into my head when I think about this movie is that exact scene. 😂😂😂

Fun movie—I actually found myself laughing out loud at one point, though I can't quite pin down which specific scene it was... 🙏 😁

While I was watching, I honestly thought Hayden Christensen was playing Fabio (Franco)... now that I see it's actually James Franco... he's got the exact same look, and that same wooden acting style too... 🙂

The film

This is a total gem for anyone who gravitates toward this specific brand of comedy. It’s definitely a bit mindless, I suppose, but there are some incredibly hilarious moments scattered throughout. Personally, I thought The film was absolutely wonderful 🙂. I found myself laughing quite a bit, actually.

The film has two funny scenes. Everything else is just garbage...

Did Portman film this before or after her pregnancy?
