What a joke of a team. 😁

If there was any actual justice in this world, Webber would be the one taking the title.

I’m inclined to agree, he absolutely earned it.....

Exactly,

It will be truly ironic if they blow the championship now, only to see everything flip on its head next year. They’ll probably claim they learned their lesson from last season and start openly favoring Vettel with five races left on the calendar.😂🤣

So that's how it is.

My heart actually skipped a beat when I saw him slowing down and pulling off onto the apron. 😳

That’s exactly the kind of flawed logic Webber is stuck playing into.

If he clinches the championship, he’s the hero who fought both his rivals and his own team—a team that, let's be honest, is the only reason he's even in the hunt.

If he doesn't? Then it’s just because of a "corrupt" Red Bull favoring Vettel.
And once again, he’s the hero. 😁

It's nothing but a desperate search for an excuse. At the end of the day, if he loses the title, the responsibility lies solely with him.

It’s almost impossible. There are rumors flying around that Christian Horner has lost his mind and is prepping to kick Webber to the curb regardless of whether he wins the title or not—right after Abu Dhabi. Honestly, if it were my team, he would've been gone ages ago. After this? He’d definitely be out before even the first practice session in Brazil. Why even wait?☕

If there's a villain in this whole mess, it's Webber.☕

He's driving the fastest car on the grid. It's obvious the crew gave him a better package and a superior car compared to Vettel. Just look at the reliability issues: add up the DNFs on Webber's car and then add up the ones on Vettel's.
If the situation were reversed, Webber would be whining and trashing the team in the press day and night, claiming he's being sabotaged from within.🙄

The referee's point is that Red Bull hasn't locked down the Constructors' title yet, and the fight for the Drivers' title isn't just down to the two Red Bull guys anymore. If you add just one or two Red Bulls in Turkey, the title is basically in the bag.☕

Seriously, if they don't let him go, they aren't sane. No normal management structure could ever tolerate that kind of nonsense from a driver or a staff member.☕

The rumor is he's already planning to show Webber the door regardless of whether he clinches the title or not—and he might just pull the trigger right after the Abu Dhabi finale.

That’s a pretty heavy piece of intel. Do you have a link to back that up?

Regarding Turkey... honestly, I'm not even going to go there since we've already been through this. But here's the thing: no matter how much people try to parrot the same old story, you just can't pin the blame for that incident on Webber. Out of everyone who actually watched the race, it feels like only stormybadger8 and Helmut Marko actually think he’s at fault. 🤷

Joshua Newman2, quit trolling me. Even though I never do it to you, I’m seriously about to start reporting your posts.🙄

If I say... referee Then you know exactly what that means. Don't twist my words.☕

If you honestly think Webber is some innocent saint in that situation, say it loud and proud. Personally? I don't buy it. I think they both share the blame for that mess. The only difference is that Vettel totally lost his cool with all that gesturing right after the hit, while Webber managed to walk away looking like the victim in the court of public opinion.☕

What's this link about?

I read it somewhere else too, but honestly, I can't for the life of me remember where. 🤷

When I use the word referee, you know exactly what I mean. Don't twist my words.☕

If you honestly believe Webber is as innocent as a saint in that situation, say it loud and clear. Personally, I think he isn't, and the blame for that incident is shared. The only difference is that Vettel lost his cool with all that gesturing after the crash, while Webber managed to come out looking like the victim in the eyes of the public.☕

Regarding the link:

I read it somewhere else too, but I can't quite remember where.🤷

I deleted that part of the post once I realized I used the word "referee."
And I'll admit, that’s quite a pivot from your previously unshakable position. 🙏

Now, a fair deal would be this: I'll stop the trolling if you stop talking nonsense. At Red Bull, they'd just as soon have Webber's car break down more often rather than less, just like Vettel's. If I had the power to swap out parts destined to fail, I'd swap them just like they did with that wing. Therefore, the fact that Webber's car breaks down less frequently is pure coincidence, not evidence of equal treatment.

As for whether they need to replace a driver who publicly trashes the team? Absolutely.
But if it's true that they're keeping him in check compared to Vettel, then it's simply the truth.

Nope. You just finally decided to read my post the way it was actually intended.🤣
Maybe that's why it's way shorter than my usual rants on this topic. 😂

It's not like I haven't said this before, you just finally caught on to what I was saying.🙏

The last few times, I stayed chill and didn't even bother commenting.😉

The only difference is that Sebastian Vettel completely lost his cool and made a fool of himself with those gestures afterward, while Webber somehow managed to come out looking like the victim in the court of public opinion.☕

Pardon, Joshua Newman2, I'm checking in too.
Even back then, I said it—and I still mean it—that Webber is the one at fault. If I were running the show, he'd be fired on the spot. Check the archives.

I won't even get into those "joking" t-shirts or comments like "not bad for a number two driver."

If anyone is actually disrupting the peace at Red Bull, it’s definitely Webber.

I expect the same thing after Brazil, too—in true Alonso fashion.
When the cars start sliding downhill, everything gets blamed on the crew. 🙄

I have a feeling you'd be the first one out there leading the charge to trash Mark Webber for being a total joke, especially if he just took all the disrespect from his team with a shrug. ☕

So come on, Michael Lee4, list out this "garbage" specifically so we aren't just relying on your wild imagination.

What exactly is Red Bull Racing doing to Mark Webber?

The garbage gives him the fastest race car on the grid—shame on them.
The garbage gives him a race car that doesn't break down—shame on them.
The garbage allowed him to win a Formula 1 race—shame on them.
The garbage let him fight for the championship—shame on them.

The people at Red Bull are total garbage and they really are screwing him over. 👎
I bet Robert Kubica, Nico Rosberg, Sutil, and the rest of the gang are sitting in church right now saying grace, thanking God they don't have to deal with such absolute garbage. ☕

I caught a rumor somewhere that Lucas Di Grassi can't stand someone, but I can't quite place who it was.
Was it involving little Senna or what?

stormybadger8 said:So, Michael Lee4, why don't you quit dreaming and actually list out all that garbage you're talking about?

What exactly is that doing to Webber at Red Bull?

Is there even any point in showing this garbage to someone who follows Red Bull? If you can't see it—or just refuse to—then why bother typing? We've already spent enough months talking about it. Honestly, just go grab another drink; there's no sense in cluttering the thread with nonsense about some joke of a team. 😉

Basically, you can't list anything specific, but hey, you're obviously right. I guess I'll just go drown my sorrows since your vision is clearly superior and I obviously need glasses.😢

stormybadger8 said:So you can't give me a list, but you aren't exactly offering anything else either. Doesn't matter though, you're obviously right. I’m going to go grab a drink to deal with this, since you clearly have 20/20 vision and I apparently need glasses just to see what's happening.😢

Since you're forcing me to dig through this garbage that already smells plenty bad enough. 🙄

Honestly, all that "support" he got—besides the stuff you so wisely pointed out—was nothing but total garbage. All those statements coming from his own team and various bosses? Yeah, they were incredibly encouraging and inspiring. Not. 👍

Damn, the guy leads the championship only to get total garbage support. That’s how real teams operate. 🙏
