Where can I find a link for WinZip?

Could someone please send me a link to download WinZip? I received a video file via email that I can't seem to open—it's tucked inside a zip folder, and I'm feeling a bit lost with it. Any help would be appreciated.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

To be fair, you can actually keep using WinZip indefinitely without any issues, even after that initial trial period expires.

That's the truth.
The only thing is that once those 40 days are up, they want you to buy a license. You'll get that pop-up message, but honestly, you can just ignore it and keep on doing your thing just fine.

You can actually just right-click the file and select Extract here or Add to archive. If you do it that way, you won't even get those annoying pop-up messages. 😬

Just type WinZip or 7zip into Google and click the first link that pops up...

So, did you actually get 7-Zip installed yet, or are we still staring at the icon? It’s pretty straightforward—just right-click that ZIP file, hover over the 7-Zip option in the menu, and hit "Extract here." Just make sure you actually pull the ZIP out of your email and drop it onto your desktop first—otherwise, things are going to get messy.

I moved the zip to my desktop, right-clicked, and looked for 7-Zip—but the option says "Extract here" in English, and my system is set to American settings... wait, maybe I'm doing this wrong? Help me get past this step!

Just grab the attachment in the message with your mouse and drag it right onto the desktop... what do you mean "what's a zip file"? What even is that?

I did exactly what you suggested—now there’s an icon on my desktop labeled cleardot followed by an angle bracket, a "1" inside, then a dot and "gif." When I click it, Microsoft Office Picture manager pops up... I guess I'm stuck. What's the next step?

If I can jump in here, the thing is Microsoft Office Picture manager won't even touch a gif file, so you're just sitting there wondering why nothing's happening.
Right-click that .gif icon and just select open with Internet Explorer.
I mean, technically that gif isn't even a video, it's just an image, but honestly, I haven't been following this whole thread closely enough to know where we're at.

If that’s actually a video file, there’s no way it’s sitting under 1000 KB.
On Gmail, just hit download, then when the new window pops up, select open; from there, it’ll either trigger 7-Zip automatically if you’ve got it installed, or it'll throw up a menu asking you to pick a program—something like "use programs..."—so you just find 7-Zip in the list, hit OK, then double-click the video right inside the 7-Zip interface and watch it.

Wait, you said the video was inside a ZIP file—so where on earth did this GIF come from? Just drag that ZIP file onto your desktop and try again.
