Keyboard and mouse not working!?

I borrowed a desktop tower from a buddy to tinker with a bit, but I've hit a snag. When I plug in my mouse and keyboard, they just don't respond at all. They work fine during the initial bootup phase—I can hit F2 without any issues to get through the BIOS settings—but once the system finishes loading and reaches the OS, both the keyboard and mouse go completely unresponsive. Any idea what might be causing this?

So, my keyboard works perfectly fine in the BIOS, but as soon as the OS loads, it completely stops responding.

Any word on the driver updates?

Everything works perfectly fine at his place when he plugs in his own mouse and keyboard.
I’ve already tested three different sets myself, and I'm still getting nowhere.

Maybe try a PS2 keyboard and mouse.
