But if you think about it, who was always right there on his tail, fighting him tooth and nail for the win? Hmm... I'm thinking it's that guy you all seem to adore so much, Fernando Alonso... 😍
I honestly have no idea what he did to everyone... I just can't wrap my head around why he isn't getting the respect he deserves... 🤷

That jerk is a total crybaby... honestly, just a complete selfish egoist like you rarely see in Formula 1. I mean, just listen to him claiming he’s the one responsible for finding 0.6 seconds per lap... that alone tells you everything you need to know about the kind of guy he is...

Right, because guys like Schumacher and Hamilton are just these perfect icons of honesty, morality, and pure courage, right?🙄 I mean, what do you actually expect from him? That he should just take every single "slap in the face" thrown his way and offer the other cheek every single time? Eventually, someone else is going to come along and try to walk all over him too... do you live your life like that? Just look at the history of champions before you come in here trying to start a war about his character. He isn't any worse than the rest of them—especially not compared to someone like Michael Schumacher. Why don't you have any complaints about him?

The FIA is such a joke, seriously, this is getting ridiculous 🤣😂😂

Michael Schumacher didn't get penalized even after talking to the drivers🤣 Massa seems to forget his grandpa isn't the boss of the team anymore 😬

Massa got penalized 🤣

but Alguersar Kubica just got a warning 🤣

Robert Kubica got a warning too 🙄

Look, I love Robert, I really do, but that was a genuinely stupid move and he deserved the penalty.

The FIA is just tripping over its own feet at this point. Now they're probably trying to play nice and not mess things up too much, but it’s obvious things are going to spiral out of control and turn into a total mess. I don't even know what to say. Watching the overtakes and the wild moves and defensive driving is fun, but this could lead to some serious bullshit.😢

seriously, how can you even call him that?

Look, I can respect him if I want to. If you can't wrap your head around why—well, that's honestly just your problem. I really don't care if you don't get it. I guess I'm probably just an idiot in your eyes since I don't see Fernando Alonso the way you do 🙂

Michael Schumacher wasn't penalized—honestly, I think the call was fair. And that’s all following a discussion with the drivers—it was quite an insightful conversation, actually.🤣 Felipe Massa seems to be forgetting that his grandfather isn't the one calling the shots at Ferrari anymore—it’s a tough lesson to learn. 😬

Felipe Massa has been penalized—quite a tough break for him.

I wonder if that's why Alguersar Kubica was called out—it’s a bit of an odd move, really—but I suppose there's some logic to it.

Robert Kubica has been issued a warning—it’s a tough situation, all things considered. 🙄

I really do hold Robert Kubica in high regard—truly—but that was just a reckless move on his part, and he honestly deserved the penalty.

It feels like the FIA is increasingly tripping over its own feet—now they’re seemingly trying to play nice to avoid making a mess, but honestly, it feels like things are spinning out of control. I can see it coming; more nonsense is inevitable. Personally, I find it entertaining to watch the overtakes, those wild moves, and the desperate defensive driving, but if this continues, it could lead to some serious disasters on track.😢

Thank God we finally have a driver in the officiating—it’s about time someone who actually knows what it feels like behind the wheel helps call the shots, rather than leaving everything to a bunch of bureaucrats...🙏🙏🙏

It feels like you’ve been watching Formula 1 for the last few years—you've probably gotten used to seeing nothing but chamomile tea on the track.

Honestly, leave Schumacher out of this; it’s probably better for his reputation if he just stops embarrassing himself like this.

stormybadger8 said:Well, you could certainly argue that, but did anyone actually catch Lewis Hamilton's pit exit? It was barely visible 🤣

In any case, Robert Kubica will likely face a penalty after the race, much like what happened with Schumacher, though honestly, his standing won't change much anyway 🤣

All things considered, I’m expecting about one point for Alguersar Kubica 😉

Kubica received a warning

Fernando Alonso is basically Alain Prost #2.
A guy who consistently clocks in 0.6 seconds faster per lap and is a two-time world champion doesn't whine, complain about everything, or act like an egoist. That's exactly what Alonso does.

Comparing him or Lewis Hamilton to Kimi Räikkönen is pointless and mindless. There's no debate here. Even if Alonso had six titles, he’d just claim he couldn't win another one without having the fastest car. He's constantly complaining and playing to the crowd at places like Lotus... acting like, "get out of my way, the king is coming." Right after his first win in Australia, he claimed he'd be bigger than Michael Schumacher. What an idiot.

Lewis Hamilton is very much the same. The kid is used to having the best car and expects everyone to bow down to him (which includes getting support from the FIA).
If all drivers had to pull off a single season in identical cars, we'd see where Alonso and Hamilton really stand. Both would fall apart and you wouldn't know who they'd blame next.

It's interesting how McLaren offered Jenson Button money in his contract but didn't offer any to Kimi Räikkönen. It's like they knew Ferrari would have to pay Kimi, and since he doesn't care about the cash, they didn't bother with his new deal. I'd bet there was some whining involved from Hamilton, his dad, Nicole, and so on... because imagine how that would look if the Iceman just brushed them off?

I honestly love these people who think they’re such geniuses that they actually know what was going through the minds of the McLaren execs when they were weighing their options between Button and Kimi.🙏

Comparing him or Lewis Hamilton to Kimi Räikkönen is just pointless. There’s really no debate there. Even if Alonso had six titles, he'd still claim he couldn't win a new championship unless he was handed the fastest car on the grid. I remember after his first win in Australia, he actually claimed he'd surpass Michael Schumacher. What a jerk.

Hamilton is cut from the same cloth, honestly. The kid is used to having the best machinery and expects everyone to bend to his will—which, let's be real, usually includes having the FIA in his corner.
I often wonder what would happen if every driver had to tackle a full season in identical cars. Where would Alonso end up? And where would Hamilton? They'd both be falling apart—complaining to anyone who would listen.

It’s interesting how McLaren offered Jenson Button money in his contract, yet they didn't do the same for Kimi Räikkönen. It was as if they already knew Ferrari would have to settle up with him, and that he wasn't exactly chasing the paycheck in his next deal. I'd bet my life there was some complaining involved from Hamilton, his dad, Nicole, and the whole crew... I mean, how would they handle it if the "Iceman" outpaced them?

Everything I wrote is spot on, word for word,

furthermore, Lewis Hamilton is one of the few—if not the only one since the '90s—who didn't have to grind through the backmarker teams
but jumped straight into the big leagues.

Man, imagine if all drivers had to tackle one season driving identical cars. Where would Alonso end up, and where would Hamilton land? Both of them would absolutely fall apart and we'd see a never-ending list of people they blamed for their struggles.

Because of those idiots, he lost his position to Button today. Alonso is the real deal, and he proves it on the track—that's what actually matters. At the end of the day, people look at the final results, not who said what to the press.

He jumped straight into the big leagues from day one.

It doesn't really matter how someone got there; what matters is where they are now, and right now we're looking at a top-tier driver who knows exactly how to squeeze every bit of performance out of his car. Besides, most of these guys spend years cutting their teeth in karts, various feeder series, and then GP2. It’s a long road to Formula 1, and by the time you actually arrive, you've already been through the ringer.

I see there is quite an ongoing debate regarding Alonso, so I figured I would weigh in with a few thoughts of my own. In my estimation, his two championships were largely the result of having the superior car combined with a bit of bad luck involving Kimi Räikkönen. That said, I am certainly not trying to diminish his talent behind the wheel; some of his victories and individual performances were nothing short of phenomenal. He truly demonstrated that he possesses a driving genius, but his recent performances have felt somewhat mediocre. I am not sure how everyone else perceived him today, but he held the lead only to allow two McLarens to breeze right past him on the track. Perhaps they were faster, but if he was within two or three seconds of the leader for seventy laps, the gap was likely negligible. It is honestly hard to believe they overtook him so effortlessly, as he offered virtually no resistance at all. It was a poor showing, frankly.

The drivers over at Red Bull are becoming a complete joke. They had the most convincingly dominant car in ninety percent of the races, yet now, in just the last two outings, the McLarens have managed to match them—and that has been more than enough to put them ahead of Red Bull.

All I have to say about Red Bull is this:🤦

You're being tedious. You're just rehashing—or maybe even copying—stuff that's already been debated to death here. 👎
Lucky us that you're the one capable of identifying real drivers.

Well, look, he hasn't even had the best car this year or last. Just because he didn't start out in some bottom-tier team doesn't automatically make him spoiled...

Ah, excuses, excuses. What do you mean "because of idiots"? The guy just wasn't paying attention. He was driving like he was out there by himself and he made a mistake... He could have stayed more focused, or maybe he shouldn't have messed up after being passed on the outside...
