Where's the best place to exchange cash?

So, I really need to find a way to swap out some of this loose change—just a couple of bucks here and there—for actual paper bills...

Seriously though, where can I actually go with a handful of nickels and dimes without getting treated like a total nuisance? 😬

It's the same old story—you'll often need that at places like Walmart, but if you head over to Chase, you should be good to go...

... maybe at a Coinstar, but they have to be sorted... and technically there's a fee involved (though in practice, most people are decent enough not to make a scene)...

Speaking of swapping cash, does anyone actually know where I can go to trade some currency? I’ve got a handful of leftover bills from various trips that none of the places will touch—I tried asking at my local Chase branch, even checked with some big industrial banks, and even hit up JPMorgan Chase, but they all gave me the same blank stare...

It’s not like I’m sitting on a mountain of cash or anything, but I’ve got bits and pieces left over from Vietnam, some Iranian rials, a bit of Malaysian ringgit, stuff like that...

Looks like I'm stuck holding onto these until my next trip out of the States.
