I am looking to purchase a keyboard that features dedicated media controls—specifically volume up, volume down, and general playback functions. I would appreciate any recommendations you might have, provided the budget does not exceed roughly 100 $50 dollars per unit.

This is particularly important if anyone intends to play games like Madden or NBA 2K using a keyboard rather than a controller.

I have encountered a recurring technical flaw with certain models where specific key combinations—such as pressing three keys in the upper left quadrant simultaneously—simply fail to register. I actually experienced this exact issue with a Logitech model back when I was living in $23 Chicago, and I eventually ended up swapping it out just to get a decent CD player working properly.

From what I have gathered through my research, this particular hardware limitation is quite common across many different keyboard brands.

I suppose anything better or more expensive than this isn't really necessary.

Regarding what you mentioned about the keys, I doubt it's actually a "glitch"; it's more likely a built-in limit. There’s probably a reason why you can't press more than three keys at once. The explanation is... complicated, and I don't really feel like getting too deep into it. 😁You might want to check this for some more detailed info on that limitation.

Regarding your point about the keys, I suspect that isn't an accidental "error" so much as it is a hardware limitation. There is a specific reason why you cannot press more than three keys simultaneously. The explanation is somewhat technical, and I would rather not delve too deeply into the mechanics here. 😁Please refer to this for more comprehensive information regarding that specific restriction.

Thanks, I will take a look at that right now... As for that three-key limit, hmm, the thing is, I can actually press four keys and it still functions... For instance, if I hold down a diagonal movement while aiming, that counts as four simultaneous inputs and it works just fine. It seems to fail only when I attempt to input those commands in one single direction.

Is this the specific model you recommended?

I was looking closely at it today... I think I am going to go ahead and purchase it.

Yeah, that’s the one.
I use the exact same model and actually tested it yesterday. Regarding the key rollover, if I hit 6 keys at once (I tried q, w, e, a, s, d), the computer just spams those letters in a loop. Here is an example of what happens when I hold them down for a second or two.

Pretty much 😁

The keyboard includes multimedia keys for music control, a nice volume wheel, and dedicated buttons for launching various apps—which, I guess, you can actually program yourself to do whatever you want.

Excellent... I will proceed with that selection then.
