Concert etiquette: What's your biggest pet peeve?

I play Ian Curtis, quite often.

Most of the time, I’m just chilling out and vibing to some music...

When I actually love a band, I fall into this terrifying state of pure delirium😁

That’s why shows by bands like Beach Boys or Bruce Springsteen were always my absolute favorites to go to. I think I caught about 20 of their sets; the crowd was 100% insane, everyone knew every single lyric, just pure energy👍

But honestly, it all comes down to how the band performs—how much energy they actually bring. I guess one underdog band once pleasantly surprised me by turning absolutely nothing into an unforgettable party.

Otherwise, it’s just a massive disappointment, like a lukewarm beer👎 80% of the crowd just stood there staring blankly at the stage

Both Gibo and Belan. At those kinds of shows, I tend to just zone out a bit, grab a few beers, and scream along until I lose my voice.😍
Everything else depends on who's playing. You can't stand still if it's some ska band, just like you can't jump around at a Bob Dylan show (and he definitely isn't singing Citron😉).

Honestly, I love that approach. It's perfect.

I will never understand those people who spend the entire two hours—or however long the show lasts—just filming and taking photos... recording and recording and recording...😁

I’m usually right up front jumping around, singing my head off, and totally wrecking the vibe for people trying to film stuff. 😁
Been in the stands a couple times too. Not bad, I guess. Just getting old. : old bones :
The drunk, high crowd at shows really gets on my nerves.

These are always my favorites—she climbs up on someone's shoulders and then there’s the rest of the crowd behind her, maybe 15 people who actually paid for their tickets, unable to see a thing because of some princess and her boyfriend carrying her around. It just happened at a Metallica concert; the crowd lost it. Luckily, they weren't standing right in front of me, or I might have been tempted to take out both of them. 🙂

I’m jumping, singing, dancing, and drinking my heart out.
I usually just ask the taller folks around me to snap a few photos or grab some video; from my frog-like perspective down here, trying to capture anything myself is a losing battle.

it mostly depends on who's on stage. if I don't really know them, I'll just hang out and try to snap some decent shots. if I actually like them, I'll jump around and take photos whenever I manage to grab a breath of air.
if the artist is amazing and I probably won't see them again for years, then yeah, I'm jumping, taking pics, filming, losing my voice... 😍

I honestly can't wrap my head around people who spend two hours filming everything on their phones. 😵 You pay for an expensive ticket, show up to see your favorite band, and then spend two hours struggling with memory cards and trying to catch the perfect shot instead of actually enjoying the music. And for what? A few shaky, out-of-focus clips to post on YouTube? It makes no sense. 🤷

I usually lose about two pounds at a concert because I dance so much, jumping around and letting loose...😍 naturally accompanied by a beer and a cigarette.

I usually wear black (even though I'm not really a goth girl) and do my makeup nicely...

Sometimes I even try to hunt down an autograph.

Mostly, I don't take any photos and I don't carry a camera.

I go either by myself or with friends (who don't necessarily share my taste in music).

Who needs drugs when there are such great bands playing!!!🙏
