I honestly don't get why you guys won't let us use links in our signatures?

First it was "no images," then it was "signatures are too big," and now suddenly having a signature at all is considered "marketing"??
Wait, what kind of marketing are we even talking about here?
Forums are meant for discussion! Every single major forum out there allows signatures, and most even let you include a linked image... just one!
But here, I can't even drop a link to my own small business. It’s seriously such a bummer..
Look, I totally get not wanting people linking to other forums, but what about blogs, personal sites, or tiny local businesses that have nothing to do with what this site does? This forum makes money too, so why is it such a big deal?

If you're actually serious about this rule, then just go ahead and ban me. I really don't want to hang around a community that works like this!
Actually, scratch that—just wipe all my posts where I was genuinely trying to help people, and delete my profile entirely!!!
thanks..

Look, if you want to pay for ads and spam everyone, go right ahead. But you've only got 12 posts under your belt, so if this isn't the right vibe for you, maybe find another corner of the internet to hang out in... 👋

Look, I’m seriously not here to pitch myself or anything. Honestly, I doubt there are even any actual clients hanging out on forums like this anyway (they’re way too busy for this stuff).
We only play ball with serious partners.
I just wanted people to see who was actually answering their questions—so they'd know it wasn't some random clown who hasn't got a clue what they're talking about.

Anyway, I totally respect your (let's call them) rules. If it's possible, could you please just delete my profile and all my posts? I really don't want to look like a total idiot or have people laughing at me on a forum where I was just trying to share what I know and help out some newcomers during these crazy times. It feels like everyone is just learning the wrong stuff lately and posting complete nonsense, which I guess is kind of the point here...
Just wipe my profile and my posts, that's all I'm asking. Please.

Thanks.

Take care.

Just to reiterate what’s already been laid out in the Sticky thread, we don't delete user profiles upon request. Not ever. Best regards.

Just one quick question... Is there any way I can change the color of the letters in my signature? I see this little A icon where you're supposed to pick a color, but it feels like black is the only option available...

I thought I’d jump in here as well; now that I’ve finally managed to sort out those annoying multiple quotation mark issues🙄 I’ve run into a brand new little dilemma—does anyone know how I can add a little something extra next to my username, right there where it says 'registered user'... how on earth do I change that?

Quick links > Edit Profile > you should see something like set custom user title — just type whatever you want there 🙂

So, I was wondering how anyone actually goes about setting up a signature here? I’ve got this little pregnancy countdown link I want to show off—I see other ladies around here rocking theirs in their posts, but I’m totally lost on how to actually get mine to show up?

So, I finally got it uploaded, but honestly, it’s just not hitting the mark. What I’m actually trying to do is set it up so there's a specific name or some text you can click on, and then—boom—it takes you straight to this page? If anyone knows how to pull that off, let me know. Google 🙂

It’s all laid out in the Forum User Guide, specifically posts 11 and 16.

The code you used for your signature is completely different from the standard BB codes we use here.

And why on earth can't we use colored signatures, or even just change the font style? Is there really no way to include a link? 😢

Don't even go there...

Seriously, why on earth was Bill Gates disabled in signatures?
