I mean, if you can dance to LCD Soundsystem, then I guess you could probably have the time of your life cutting loose at a Flogging Molly show too, maybe.

Nobody said anyone was gonna be dancing with grace or style. 🙂But if there’s a beat, there’s a movement...

I suppose a few more posts with decent titles would be nice, just so the feed looks properly filled out for these two days... Not that I’m looking for any massive bombshells or anything, I just want something worth actually reading. 😁 Also, what’s the deal with this "world" stage thing? Are we talking about the Sony stage? If that's the case, I really think they should stick to the branding and bring in some actual top-tier international artists; I mean, they certainly have the budget to pull that off if they wanted to. 🙂

I came across this rumor circulating on an international forum:

"The Red Hot Chili Peppers are set to perform on June 23, 2010, here in America!

While there is still about a 10% chance things could shift and certain logistical specifics need to be finalized, it feels like a nearly guaranteed deal...

They would be appearing as one of the headliners for the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival..."

It’s about 90% confirmed at this point—they're just ironing out the final logistics, but it's practically a done deal...

They'll be playing as one of the headliners for the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival... "

Oh, absolutely. 🤣

They aren't even on tour right now, but they’re making a special trip just to play at Coachella 🙂

5.4. And they’ve already announced ten performers? What absolute fools!

A buddy of mine found this via Google: http://www.stadium-arcadium.com/foru...02a6846c9fdda9

So yeah, the post is from November 19th, just in case anyone was feeling skeptical...

Honestly, I’d be happy with whatever lineup they drop—I just need something to listen to. And if they actually announced the Red Hot Chili Peppers? Man, that would be the absolute highlight of the year.🤷

I don't know... if I had to place a bet, I’d have gone with the Beatles playing Coachella back in the day. I probably would've lost my shirt, but man, I would've put my money on them...

When you take everything into account, the lineup looks pretty solid so far—and we have to remember they still have another 25 to 30 acts left to announce. It won't all be huge international headliners, but you can always have a great time catching a local indie band like somewhere out of Austin or maybe some gritty garage rock from Seattle... Not everyone lives in the city, so having a chance to see these local gems twice a year is actually a nice perk.😉Though, I'm worried the lesser-known acts will just end up filling the gaps in the schedule, which might make me hesitate between seeing an international act or sticking with the locals... The only thing missing so far is a decent hip-hop presence.. 🤷

The lineup for Lollapalooza just dropped with a bunch of new acts, but it makes me wonder... what's left in store for the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival?

It’s a solid teaser for the album, I suppose. 🙂
