I’m still holding out hope that they might bring in Mars Volta—Mastodon was such a shocker, though I wouldn't mind a few more surprises like that to keep me on my toes...
It couldn't be a better setup; they're touring through Europe during that window, and their schedule still looks pretty wide open. Plus, from a programming standpoint, they would be such a breath of fresh air since we've never actually had a band of that genre on the lineup before.
If they end up adding a third day, honestly, anything is possible...

I heard some rumors that maybe Radiohead might be coming through... though honestly, it could just be people talking nonsense.

Radiohead doesn't stand a chance.

But I'm still waiting on Strokes.

What does "allegedly" actually mean here? I’d love it if someone could provide a source that isn't some old lady reading tea leaves or staring into a crystal ball. Or maybe just a friend who thinks they have psychic powers. 😉

Actually, Radiohead isn't even on tour right now, and if I had to guess, they probably won't be hitting the road again anytime soon. 🙂

Bad Religion at Lollapalooza

What are the odds they'd play here since they have an open date? We've become such a huge destination for the genre lately anyway (NOFX, Pennywise, Bouncing Souls, Jello Biafra...).

What are the odds they actually show up here, considering they have an open date on the calendar and we've become such a massive destination for this genre over the last few years, pulling in names like NOFX, Pennywise, Bouncing Souls, or even Jello Biafra...

It’s a long shot, honestly, because I doubt the organizers would ever try to book two acts that are so fundamentally similar, much like pairing J. B. from the Dead Kennedys with Bad Religion...
That being said, if they actually confirmed Bad Religion, I’d be grabbing my festival tickets in a heartbeat...

On the other hand, Jello Biafra might draw a few hundred people at most—especially since he already played in Chicago last year—whereas Bad Religion would easily pull in 2,000 to 3,000 fans. I’m not even particularly a fan of them personally, but let's face it...

I saw T-Mobile posting on X about people listening to Sum 41, which actually sounds like a pretty decent vibe. I’m certainly not saying I’m planning on heading to Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival or anything like that, but the name itself does have a certain festive ring to it...

Is there any real chance for Amy Winehouse...

Is she actually free at 21?

At 18, she was already in New York City...

Or should I just stop hoping? 😢

If I recall correctly, there was talk last year about Bad Religion being on the shortlist for the festival lineup—who knows, maybe they’ll actually pull it off this time
