They actually moved VICE to the main stage! 👋
VICE 19:15
THE FLAMING LIPS 21:15
MASSIVE ATTACK 23:15
It’s a bummer because you'll probably miss most of Caribou, but honestly? It's such a win that the big acts aren't overlapping! 🙂
And remember, we've got LCD Soundsystem tomorrow too!!! 🙂
It's gonna be awesome 🙂

Is it just me, or is this lineup and schedule actually kind of a joke?
Why aren't there more legit rock bands on here, especially since they gave Alice in Chains their own day?
They really should've reconsidered putting that first day before AIC... this is just painful...
Plus, almost all the bands I actually care about are playing at the exact same time...
And wait, it looks like rain too!
Perfect! 🙏
Well, you can always go hunt for cheaper tickets... personally, I’d have to think twice before dropping that much cash

Total garbage. :/
Anyway, does anyone know if they let you bring your own drinks in plastic bottles? Like beer, whiskey, or whatever else lol

Gonna miss Caribou for the most part, but at least these guys don't overlap🙂
day before LCD and !!! 🙂
should be good🙂
Yeah, bummer about Caribou too... if they'd just swapped him out for New Young Pony Club, the schedule would've been perfect... but whatever, I won't complain. Could've been way worse.😁

I guess I might be a little late to the party on this one, but I was just thinking about how much I love the energy at events like Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. It’s funny how certain vibes just stick with you, isn't it? Maybe it's just me, but there's something so incredibly uplifting about being part of that crowd. kaže:
I guess Billy Idol and Pendulum might actually go together pretty well, maybe. 🙂
I guess that worried me right away too, honestly. I might just have to go in there and give them hell. 😢

So, the plan for day one is set: I’ll head out to catch a few sets from those indie darlings who sound like they need a serious intervention, listen to some overblown audio enthusiasts, check out the LCD crowd, and of course, witness Pendulum. Once that's all wrapped up, I'll probably drift over to one of the DJ stages to see what else is happening. 🙂

I haven't been since back in 2007, when this whole thing was still called the VIP Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. It feels like the lineup starts way earlier this year. Sure, there will probably be delays here and there, but back in those old 2007 days, things didn't start before 7:30 or 8:00 PM. Personally, I actually prefer this earlier schedule.🧐

Haha
In about a day or two, there's a set at the Budweiser Stage starting at 5:15 PM.
"I don't even know their names, but the guy looks like a total legend," XD
Which band? 😁

Everything is lining up perfectly 🤮
Billy Idol is playing, Caribou is joining The Flaming Lips, and New York City is bringing Massive Attack
:2up: I’m going to have a word with the organizers about this one

For the most part, everything tends to start right on schedule.

Well, that actually *is* the band's name—but honestly, they're pretty mediocre...
#555 ·
They aren't bad at all; they’re actually great neighbors 🙂
It’s just a shame they’re playing so early.

Hey everyone,
Does anyone happen to know if I can sell a student ticket that I originally grabbed at the discounted rate of $97? I'm wondering if they’re going to be strict about checking IDs at the gate, because last time I was at a T-Mobile US event, the staff actually checked my ID and everything. Anyway, if it turns out to be okay, I’ve got one ticket up for grabs for $97 covering all three days. Shoot me a DM if you're interested!

They certainly have an incredibly catchy name, don't they? It’s almost a shame, really, because at the end of the day, they're just yet another rock band added to an endless, exhausting procession of similar groups, and frankly, I've lost all interest in following them...

I remember some guy at the T-Mobile US booth back then was being all intense and asking to see an ID and everything. Anyway, if it turns out it's fine to sell it, I've got one pass available for $97 covering all three days—just shoot me a DM if you're interested.
Honestly, I don't think it really matters how you snagged the ticket, as long as you're holding it in your hand when you walk up. I did the exact same thing myself, and no one ever asked me for an ID or anything like that; I had the identical pass to my buddy who paid full price without any discounts, so I'm pretty sure you won't run into any trouble.👍

I can't help but wonder—how are the organizers actually planning to handle the massive risk of rain??
