Sure, let's just drop ten more indie bands into the lineup—that’ll definitely keep the fans happy. I just can't fathom how anyone would actually find the time to see them all.

I’ve had just about enough of all those various little indie bands whining and moaning. Personally, I’d much rather listen to Motörhead, System of a Down, or Bad Religion.

It’s possible they could have booked Apocalyptica—back in 2022, they were already set as headliners for the Budweiser Metal Stage—but for some reason, we have Dimmu Borgir here instead. They could easily draw a massive crowd, though.

Exactly! 😁

👍 If they actually booked those last two acts, I would buy a ticket in a heartbeat..

Fine, go organize your own festival and book whatever bands you want... though booking System of a Down would cost a fortune, and Motörhead too... If you feel like it, just grab $100 and head to Lollapalooza. I'll stay right here listening to those "charming" little indie acts while enjoying the vibe.🙂

System of a Down is expensive, sure—but they’d pull in thousands. Honestly, I think even people who don't care about the festival itself wouldn't blink at dropping $117 for a one-day pass just to catch their set.

What’s this? System of a Down? Shake Your Spear at Shakespeare, Shake Your Spear at Shakespeare?
Not sure if those lyrics are actually worth my time—maybe not. Still, even the mediocre bands should be fine; if MGMT shows up too, I'll be satisfied... 🙂

If you're feeling cheap, just grab a hundred bucks and head to some local indie show where I'll be stuck listening to these "charming" little garage bands while everyone enjoys the "great atmosphere." 🙂
Oh yeah, right. Everything worth doing costs money. 😉

Duh, obviously they would... but if we're putting a whole festival together anyway, let's get some underground acts in there that actually deserve some hype. Don't get me wrong, having System of a Down play would be killer, but still 😁

It’d be killer if Azra could make an appearance, but I’ve been hearing rumors they’re way too expensive.

Hold on a second—you're telling me one System of a Down, a band that actually stands for tearing down capitalism, gets sidelined by some trendy indie hipster outfit just because they're currently peaking?
#1619 ·
Honestly, System of a Down isn't really my thing, and I suspect they don't actually have nearly as massive a following as everyone seems to think. I doubt they're pulling in more ticket sales than A. Fire, either. Gosh, you all have me thinking now... here is who I would 😍😍😍
just one act from this group:
Daft Punk
Justice
Fatboy Slim
Chemical Brothers
The Prodigy☕
maybe one or two from this bunch:
Hadouken!
Does it offend You, yeah?
Claxons
Bloc Party
MGMT
Crystal Castles
Deadmau5
Asian Dub Foundation☕
or perhaps someone from this list:
Florence + the Machine
Bat for Lashes
Foals
The Gossip☕
then some local heavyweights and world music acts:
Kultur Shock
SARS
Kries
Kocani Orkestar
SevdahBABY!
Let3
Kiril Dzajkovski
I won't bother with categories I didn't mention earlier.🤣
