How to track someone down online?

How does one track down someone when you have their full name but don't want to deal with the headache of Facebook? Does anyone actually know of any decent sites or tools for locating people these days?

At the very least, you should know which country you're talking about!

Just keep searching; I spent two full years digging through the internet before I finally tracked down my uncle. 🙂 I don't recall every specific site I used, but I clicked on everything Google threw my way until I succeeded. I haven’t met him in person yet—though I hope to—but we end up talking nearly every day now. 😁 Good luck. 👍
