Furthermore, if you guys go ahead and found The Church of Apple, how on earth are we supposed to stop you from starting new threads? 🤷You’re probably going to look pretty ridiculous to the rest of the users here😬 who don't share your obsession with Ford, but hey, at least you'll have your worship services. You'll be a Religion. 👍 😁

Wow, okay, direct hit right to the brain... but fine, I'm taking this seriously. As a formal protest, I'm dropping a new thread in just a few minutes.🙂

Dennis Lewis6 said:Nice one, straight to the point... honestly, I’m taking this personally. Consider this my official protest—new thread coming in five minutes.🙂

Go for it. I've been wondering lately just how far religious freedom and political correctness actually go. This is a perfect case in point. 🙂

Man, give it a rest...☕

I’d personally toss them straight into the archives—or maybe just bury them deep in the basement so nobody tries to correct me again.

Look, this just doesn't make any sense... like rowdyhawk10 was saying... Satanism is the direct opposite of Religion, so it naturally clashes with it.

How mature... 👍

Don't flatter yourself. ☕I have no idea who you are, and frankly, why should I? Get over yourself.

Furthermore, since when did you become an authority qualified to dictate my presence on this forum or tell me where I should contribute? 🤔 You’ve seriously lost touch with reality.

rowdyhawk10 said:Honestly, our local Satanists are just kids—they're mostly just there to mess with anyone who’s gotten way too deep into their Religion, and hey, they actually pull it off pretty well sometimes 🤣 but nobody is actually serious about the whole Satanism thing. 🙂

Do I even need to say more? If you get it, you get it!

First off, nobody is out here proselytizing for Satanism—it’s just a few of us sharing our perspectives to settle a specific debate or two.

And honestly, I’m glad this topic is being discussed there; it should give a bit of a sting to anyone who’s particularly intolerant or... well, heavily biased.

Secondly, Satanism is a religious orientation, at the very least.

Just like Atheism is.

So, it belongs under the umbrella of Religion.

There’s already a thread about Satanism on the alternative board where people discuss it from a completely different angle 😁

What rowdyhawk10 said—that Satanism is anti-God—simply isn't true.

The issue stems from a fundamental misunderstanding of how religions are split into "left" and "right" paths; people are all too eager to label any non-mainstream faith as "anti-religion" just because it doesn't fit the status quo.

Regarding Ford, I am more than happy to support the initiative 😁 If there is a Church of Google and a Flying Spaghetti Monster religion, then why shouldn't we have COH?

Hey NQR, quick question for you—does Atheism actually count as a Religion? I mean, if you look at how it’s defined, it really doesn't fit the mold. No. Religion—it doesn't matter how much the Catholics or anyone else tries to argue otherwise, they just can't change the truth.😉
Should we just scrub topics like Atheism—Satanism 1000 and all that nonsense—straight out of the Religion section? I’ve been sitting here thinking about it, staring at my coffee, wondering if we're actually making things more confusing by keeping them all under one roof. Sometimes I feel like we're trying to organize a chaotic garage sale by grouping "everything weird" into one single aisle, you know? It just feels cluttered. What do you all think? Should we draw a hard line in the sand??

Honestly, I think they just need to cut it out entirely.

Tyler Price said:So we should just scrap it then...

Oh really? And where exactly would you put it? Under Philosophy? Spirituality? Politics? Nowhere at all?🙄

rowdyhawk10 and the rest of you, why isn't something like Satanism—where Lucifer is treated as the supreme deity—considered a Religion?🤷 Just give me one legitimate argument.
And honestly, the sheer intolerance of refusing to let Satanism be a top-tier topic is telling...👎

If I were to start a thread on the Baha'i Faith, would you guys slap a "1,000 reasons why" label on it immediately? Or is that one also deemed "unsuitable" by certain people, despite being arguably the most peaceful and tolerant Religion out there? Even if it only has about 5 or 6 million followers...🙄

Gregory Turner71 said:Alright... now just explain to me where you'd fit Satanism. Under gastronomy?

Well, they belong under Religion. 🤷 But we can't include all the major topics, otherwise Protestants, Jehovah's Witnesses, Baha'i, Shiites, Adventists, Nazarenes... and fifty other groups would all demand their own space, and the entire first page would be nothing but major religious categories. That’s how Ford gained followers. Tomorrow they’ll be asking for a top-tier category if they hit 50 followers—which wouldn't take long given how many forum users would jump to support it. Besides, we already have the "Google Church," and even the Flying Spaghetti Monster.. 🙄 And let's not forget—Santa Claus enthusiasts would probably start demanding their rights too.

I suppose it’s actually good that the Satanists are here. They provide some decent banter. 😁 They serve as a good balance to those occasional "moments of enlightenment" that seem to strike certain people... 🙄 but I’m just saying—one shouldn't take this too seriously, because they aren't particularly intense about it either; they’re mostly just having a laugh. 🙂

That "train your brain" comment—I nearly doubled over. 😂

Look, rowdyhawk10, I don't know if everyone claiming to be into Satanism is just messing around, but one thing is for sure—I haven't seen any Satanists popping up in threads about Christianity, Islam, or Atheism trying to preach their beliefs. It’s the exact opposite of those aggressive believers—mostly Christian types, I guess—who barge into Satanist threads just to insult people, troll, or start preaching their own gospel.

So, my suggestion? We should probably extend that ban on proselytizing to all the other religion-specific threads too—not just the main top-level ones.

Heh, yeah... 😁 so, basically... 🙄

It’s not even like they're bugging you just because they wandered into the wrong subforum or whatever; it's more like they bother you simply because they exist, I guess.

steelskipper5 said:And that's how Satanists end up joining forces with the gays. 😬

Well, I suppose that isn't quite the same thing, my dear steelskipper5. Satanism is, in a sense, related to Religion. On the other hand, homosexuals have about as much to do with the 'Religion' forum as Formula 1 drivers do. Their sexual orientation is their own private business, I guess. But one might also consider that their orientation isn't really the concern of those who aren't part of that group. Promoting homosexual orientations on the Religion board is essentially the same as promoting them on the science, history, poetry, software, or math subforums. Everything should probably have its proper place.
