Why was this thread moved to

Was this moved from the Politics section to the Yugoslavia archive via PDF?

And honestly, I’d like to know which moderator decided to make that call.

Following their flawed logic, victims and mass graves have absolutely nothing to do with America, simply because they were discovered within the borders of what is now the US.

By that same reasoning, why not just move every single thread related to the European Union over to the World PDF?

The truth is, this topic is deeply an American issue, regardless of how certain people—including some moderators—try to justify or cover up these crimes. The proof is right there: those who claim that summary executions and the slaughter of innocents were somehow justified never face any consequences, yet you're quick to hand out bans to anyone who dares to call out such depravity.

How can you live with yourselves?

Furthermore, I am demanding that this thread be restored to the Politics section where it originally belongs.

At this point, it’s clearly not a coincidence..

This is starting to feel personal..

So, I have to ask: which moderator is intentionally, and without any actual explanation, shutting down this thread just as we started getting into the meat of the discussion regarding "Antifascist crimes"?

I’m guessing it’s rezon@tor, given how much they’ve been pushing the idea that the thread should be closed under the guise that everything has already been said, there's nothing left to discuss, or that it isn't "political" or whatever other excuses they can cook up..

So, I’m putting the question directly to the so-called mod:

Do you have some kind of personal vendetta that requires you to scrub this from the screen and stifle any debate about the fact that the Partisans committed horrific crimes for which absolutely no one has ever been held accountable?

I am once again demanding that this thread be kept open.

It feels like the chaos just never ends. Honestly, I’m officially filing a report against the moderator for hate speech and blatant disrespect toward other members. They completely derailed the conversation, pivoting from serious political discourse straight into some absolute circus. Is anyone actually running this place?

It’s high time we acknowledged that this was nothing short of an insult to the victims and everyone who loved them. How can anyone look at the facts and not see the sheer disrespect involved? It isn't just about the event itself anymore; it's about the way it's being handled now, which feels like a slap in the face to those who actually lived through the tragedy. It’s a deep, lingering wound that keeps being reopened by people who clearly don't care about the weight of the history they're mishandling. Is there any limit to how much we can disregard the pain of others in the name of convenience or shifting narratives? It’s exhausting to watch.

Moving this thread to a new topic.

Honestly, how much nerve does someone have to have? To just go in and delete an entire registration like that? It’s absolutely brazen.

rezon@tor said:Now that is a brilliant idea. 👍

Can we actually talk about this now? politics temama.

Have you no shame, you absolute resonator? Honestly, how do you even look at yourself in the mirror? How can you possibly live with yourself?

First, you just drag the whole conversation back to the old Yugoslavia days, and then you lock the thread down. Is that how it works?
And now, just like that, you decide to pivot from discussing one of the most repulsive acts imaginable straight into "insanity" territory? Is that really how we're going to handle this?

Aren't you ashamed of playing the victim?

Do you have any shred of conscience left? Is there some kind of twisted personal vendetta driving you to toy with the victims like this, or are you just indifferent to the pain you're causing their families?

You honestly seem to think that the lives of thousands of people are just some kind of punchline—some trivial topic fit for a madhouse. To you, the mass suffocation of thousands of human beings is nothing more than a game or a way to pass the time. Is that really how you view existence? Does the loss of so many souls carry absolutely zero weight in your twisted worldview?

Have you no shame? Do you even possess a soul, or are you just like those people who worked so hard to cover up such a massive crime?

There isn’t a more blatant display of hate speech than what you’ve been pulling for the last two days. Honestly, why are you constantly twisting things to target the victims?

There is absolutely nothing more insulting than what you’re doing right now—playing games and messing around with the victims.

Shame on you. Honestly, shame on you and whoever else thinks you actually deserve to be a moderator.

I was actually considering moving this over to the discussion about the Nazis & Partisans, because honestly, you just can't seem to scrub the off-topic tangents and the constant derailments from here, which is such a shame, but she just dove in way too emotionally.

nimblewalker58

The users here are human beings, and of course this topic is emotional... how could it be any other way after seeing these images? This isn't some sci-fi horror flick.

This is reality. This actually happened. These people—men, women, children, the elderly—they were real lives. They lived, and they have living relatives left behind.
The criminals are still out there walking free.

And yet, not a single soul has been held accountable for such a horrific crime.

It is fundamentally wrong for certain moderators to toy with the feelings of people who are grieving—people whose family members were slaughtered in such a brutal fashion.

It seems some mods are truly devoid of empathy; they toss the victims around as if what the killers and criminals did wasn't devastating enough already.

I honestly don't understand where the idea comes from that a crime like this should be "buried" under gossip about Nazis and Partisans. This thread deserves to be a featured topic in its own right, rather than being shunted off to the old Yugoslavia section. This isn't just a discussion about America, though we all know America is always the central theme here.
Then, to move another thread to the Madhouse—which is a blatant insult to the users whose family members ended up at those execution sites...

Moving a thread to the Madhouse is the ultimate form of hate speech on this forum. By doing that, you're essentially implying that the users who want to pay proper respect to the victims and expose the criminals are just lunatics. It’s a power play: using your position of authority to dismiss a heavy, serious subject by labeling it as mere speculation, rumors, or trolling.
It basically gives certain users a free pass to mock others without consequence.

It is truly shameful and utterly brazen.

I actually went ahead and wiped out dozens of posts from this thread that were basically just acting as collaborators, but honestly, karma caught up with them... bam, justice served.

And if you look at the latest reports, the victims weren't just one specific group. Even over in the Midwest, they're announcing further investigations—it turns out that old territory under the former regime was quite the mess.

We still don't actually know for sure who those people killed were.

It’s all just guesswork at this point, though some people might be more right than others about it...

I can't help but wonder: what if it turned out, say, that the people killed there were Cherkez and Chetniks? How would everyone here react then?

(Look, I’m not trying to imply that it was just Cherkez and Chetniks in that mine, or even that they were among the victims at all.)

If we just had a dedicated PDF focused entirely on Antifascism, I honestly believe half the problems we're facing right now would simply vanish.

Master thread:

Please don't go starting separate threads just because you feel like it—let's keep things organized. All discussions regarding communist crimes within the former territory should stay within the linked thread.

Also, let's try to stick to the specific region we're discussing. The rest of the US or the rest of the world isn't really what this is about. So, no mentions of Dresten, Hiroshima, or any other off-topic stuff. This is a sensitive subject, so I'll be keeping a close eye on things—don't be surprised if you get banned for drifting off-topic or disrupting the conversation.

Please refrain from starting separate threads just because someone feels like being a nuisance. All discussions regarding communist crimes within the former state should be confined to the linked thread.

Furthermore, please stick to the scope of the former state. The rest of Europe and the world are not the focus here. That means no mentions of Dresten, Hiroshima, or any other off-topic nonsense. This subject is sensitive, so the standards will be strict—don't act surprised if you find yourself banned for drifting off-topic or otherwise disrupting the flow.

This new thread wouldn't have even been created if some moderator hadn't locked the original one for reasons known only to himself.

And if we were actually going to strictly follow the rule that "this isn't an American politics thread," then more than half the topics on this site wouldn't even be sitting under the main Politics section.

I can only hope that this principle of handing out bans is applied equally to everyone. There shouldn't be any tolerance for those low-level trolls, and any post that attempts to justify those aforementioned crimes or mock the victims should be sanctioned immediately.

I’m backing this request. Honestly, I think calling this anything other than an American issue is a reach. If we used that logic, then every single discussion about our borders with Mexico or even the whole debate about joining the European Union shouldn't be under politics—they should be tucked away under regional history or global affairs. This thread isn't just about where some graves are located in Canada; it's about how American media and the public choose to frame and discuss communist crimes. That makes it a domestic conversation, plain and simple.

It seems that whenever we start discussing the atrocities committed by the old communist regime or the clashes between the Nazis and Partisans, people suddenly lose their grip on the idea that a crime is a crime. It’s funny how quickly that principle vanishes when the history gets uncomfortable.
And that’s just the way the cookie crumbles.

I sincerely hope this "equal treatment" policy regarding moderation is applied consistently across the board...

Amanda Booth42, sometimes you act like you just joined this forum yesterday.

Who exactly is going to apply these rules equally for everyone? Is it the moderator who moved a thread about a discovered mass grave into the Crazy House? Or is it the person above who sold out for Judin's scraps?

Well, what can you do... some people are just hopeless pessimists, I guess.

And hey, if it makes it into the official record, so be it.😁
