How long does the student discount for $83 actually stay valid?
It’s good through September 3rd...

It’s valid until March 9th.
The deadline is there, sure, but supply is limited. It's a race against time.

Good question. 😬

Exactly.

Donna Kern26: Plus, they're actually relevant right now since they just dropped a new album.
Minus, that album is honestly pretty terrible.
Kraftwerk: Meh.

minus because the album sucks.
Kraftwerk: meh.
let's find something better.....
Franz Ferdinand actually dropped the most mature album of their career.
But apparently, if you actually have to use your brain to listen to an album, it's "garbage" to most people.
Basically, "garbage" is just what people say "as soon as they land in America," right?!
Honestly, just go organize your own festival and skip this one.

People can laugh if they want, and they're allowed to have an opinion on the bands. This isn't a thread about Franz Ferdinand, so... chill out.

I'm actually looking forward to seeing Franz Ferdinand—this latest album of theirs has been sitting quite well with me, I suppose. 🙂 Though, if I'm being honest, I don't feel that same level of pure, unadulterated excitement I had back when they first toured here.

Look, at the end of the day, it's a massive festival and having them there would be legendary. I doubt the cost would actually break the bank for them to pull it off—they’d probably just cut them a deal. The guy lives for outdoor festivals anyway... nothing beats a massive party by the water. 😁

Is there any chance Massive Attack will play? Does anyone know if they're even in the running? What are the odds... anyone heard anything? 😍🙏

I feel the exact same way, honestly. Although, I have to admit, the new record just hasn't really stuck with me yet—it’s just not quite hitting that spot.😳

Honestly, I’d give anything just to see Kraftwerk perform, so everyone else on this lineup feels like a total afterthought to me $83, basically just a little extra 😁
ff - come on, give me more 🙂

...I’d love to see the lineup you’d actually pull together... though I suspect there’d be plenty of complainers too. Someone is always going to be unhappy about something, isn't that right?🤷

But apparently, if an album requires even a modicum of cognitive effort, most people just aren't interested...
Exactly. To actually grasp those "boys don't get girls, girls don't get boys" lyrics, you'd need an IQ north of 180...😂

Not Franz again... They were decent a couple of years back, but man, I’d love to actually see someone new for once. It feels like we just get the same lineup on repeat here. Honestly, I don't know what's worse: listening to bands that peaked twenty years ago or hearing Franz and Kaiser for the hundredth time.
