Honestly, the lineup was better last year. This year, though, you just can't beat this weather and the overall vibe... 😁

By the way, the ticket was only $83 back when we only knew about Kraftwerk and one other act; they kept dropping more bands onto the lineup as the price climbed.
The real issue is that this festival hasn't really established an identity yet compared to the big ones. When you buy a ticket for Coachella, you know exactly what kind of vibe you're getting. With the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, you're basically flying blind. Last year, they had Nick Cave and a bunch of world music acts, so I ended up just selling my ticket since I bought it blindly. That's the downside of a "something for everyone" festival.

My sister bought her student ticket before I could get mine!$83Everyone knew about Kraftwerk, Franz Ferdinand, Moby, that one metal band, and I can't even remember what else.
Pretty much, we all saw this coming.
I don't really feel like grinding through this thread right now, and I'm not trying to be difficult by not confirming everything with more posts.

Over & out

Chloe Alvarez said:Personally, I thought the festival was fantastic. We were blessed with perfect weather without a single drop of rain, the organization was top-notch, the location was ideal, and the lineup was incredible. Moby was amazing, as were Kraftwerk, Foo Fighters, and the rest! There was truly something for everyone. I know it isn't Lollapalooza, Roskilde, or Glastonbury, but honestly, anything is better than nothing, and I think what we have here is high quality!

Does anyone happen to know how much tickets are actually going for for their July 6th show in Chicago? This site is claiming they're only sixty-seven bucks, but honestly, my gut tells me there's no way that's right. http://www.worldticketshop.com/conce..._kooks_tickets
