It was such a blast. Seriously, seeing FF and Anthrax live? Pure magic. 😍

Man, I’d go back in a heartbeat 😳

Thomas Wells said:Yeah, true... especially after they pelted him with those plastic 🙂

If I were standing there on that stage, I would have just gotten up and walked off.

Honestly, some people are just total hillbillies. 👎

So what? Honestly, I’d probably just grab that plastic thing and chuck it right back into the crowd 😁

Oh, totally—but still, it’s just not okay. I mean, I had one of those glowing light sticks myself, and it never even crossed my mind to toss it onto the stage. But then some guy actually asked if he could take mine so he could throw it up there. Of course I didn't give it to him! It's honestly pretty lame—it feels so primitive when people show up to a concert and start chucking pieces of plastic at the performers. It just makes zero sense.

Like, show up to a concert and then start pelting the performers with pieces of plastic. It makes zero sense.

Way to go, Carol Myers98
I seriously don't get why those idiots even bought tickets to the show if they were just gonna act like total morons 😕 The only "logical" explanation is that they were probably super wasted beforehand...

I was only at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival for the last three songs, hanging out way in the back near the tents, so I didn't catch any of that. But man, even I managed to get totally ticked off by this one older lady—and trust me, I'm being polite here because she definitely didn't deserve a nicer label👎—who was basically bulldozing her way through the crowd at yyy, beer in one hand and a cigarette in the other. As soon as the music kicked in, everyone was just dancing and jumping around, having a blast, and I was right there with them... until she starts digging her elbow straight into my ribs, shoving me forward just so she wouldn't spill her drink. And she just keeps going! If you aren't pushing to the front to actually dance, what are you even doing there? Seriously, what a nightmare. I'm still fuming about it. 😠

I was even more hammered than that, and yet I didn't think it was a bright idea to start targeting the performers 🤷 just to prove I wasn't an idiot. ☕

Once the concert kicks off, everyone’s jumping and dancing like usual—I was right there with them. Then she’s standing behind me, digging her elbow into my ribs just to shove me forward so I don't spill my drink. And she just stays there, unmoving. If you aren't pushing forward, what's the point of even being there? Dammit. I'm still pissed about it. 😠

If you aren't pushing your way toward the front, what on earth are you even doing in a crowd like that? Honestly, damn it. I'm still absolutely fuming about it. 😠

If you're going to complain about being shoved or getting an elbow in the ribs, why the hell are you pushing forward in the first place? It's people like you—acting all "tough" and "rebellious"—who ruin everything for everyone else. 🤷

Read it more carefully and you'll realize she's complaining because this guy was blocking her with his elbow, preventing her from jumping and dancing... he was just too busy guarding his beer and his peace of mind. 🙄

Maybe try letting the post-two crowd enjoy themselves without all your constant nitpicking for once. 🙄

I'm scrolling through some reviews and noticing you guys aren't saying much about Antenat, who I actually thought were 👍
why the hell are you all being so negative?

And what's the deal with NERD not throwing those glow sticks back? Pretty sure they did, because that rapper guy was looking absolutely livid at me since he didn't get a single 😁

Kevin Chavez3 said:If you would actually bother to read more closely, you might realize that she isn't complaining about anything else; she’s expressing her sheer frustration because this woman was actively preventing her from jumping around and dancing, all because she was hell-bent on protecting her beer and her own peace of mind. 🙄

Look, I’ve already grasped the reality of the situation and processed it with whatever cynicism I have left, but if you’re truly out of your mind, you might as well go ahead and mosh at a punk show while waiting for some idiot to get hauled off by security at Lincoln Center. I took a moment to calculate their defense, but when you strip away the nonsense and look at the actual principles of force and counter-force, the distinction is entirely academic; it frankly doesn't matter whether you're the one forcing the issue or the issue is forcing itself upon you.
Kevin Chavez3 said:Perhaps you could exercise a modicum of restraint and allow a couple of posts to pass by without immediately interjecting with your relentless grievances. 🙄

Is one truly hypersensitive? It seems to me that we live in an era where any semblance of a backbone is treated like a moral failing, and anyone who dares to hold a firm position is immediately branded as being overly sensitive or "difficult." I find this modern obsession with fragility quite exhausting; it’s a constant, grating demand for constant validation that stifles any meaningful discourse. One shouldn't have to walk on eggshells just to express a basic observation without fearing some manufactured outrage. 🙏
I am not attempting to be contrarian here; I simply find myself feeling an immense sense of pity for the man if his wife truly managed to claim victory in that particular dispute. 😢

It all felt kind of unfinished in the end, though. Like, she ended up getting splashed by a few "accidental" beer pours or whatever, but then I just started trying to squeeze my way even closer to the stage😁

People at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival are seriously throwing tantrums because someone bumped into them or spilled a little beer... honestly. I mean, sure, more than half the lineup is questionable at best—half the acts have zero credibility anyway—but still... just typical indie kids being sensitive about everything.

copperjackal89, I guess there’s something kind of tacky about fighting through a crowd just to smoke a cigarette—whether you're at a punk show or not—but you've definitely been complaining a bit too much lately 🙂

Look, I get it, half the lineup at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is pretty questionable quality-wise—don't get me wrong—but still... total indie kids.

Just because there's a massive crowd doesn't mean people shouldn't at least try to have some basic manners. 😉

I've read through all the posts, so I wanted to weigh in on a few things. It’s a little intimidating seeing how many people are totally worked up and just spitting venom at everything 😁, but this is a forum and I should be able to have my own opinion.

1. The sticks—I remember thinking it was so weird that Pharrell Williams didn't just grab one of those thousand sticks people were throwing at his head and jam it into some idiot's eye, just to see what would happen after such mindless behavior.

2. As for me, during the day I got splashed with beer, N.E.R.D. water, and then I basically soaked myself in beer because I forgot I was holding a drink 😂. By the end, I was hanging out with a member of Tricky's band over some herbal liqueur, feeling completely messy, but it never even crossed my mind to let it ruin my mood. I mean, what else do you expect from a festival? Maybe that lady with the beer and cigarette should just stick to chamber music concerts next time...

3. I had an amazing time, even if a lot of the bands aren't usually on my playlist. I just love the festival vibe. It’s so cool to see 15,000 people whose only goal is to have fun with the music... okay, except for the drunk kids who can't behave, and unfortunately, some of the older crowd too...

4. I actually missed Tricky's set because I thought he was finished, but I used to listen to his albums constantly back in the 90s and I loved him 😍. It felt totally surreal watching him dance for hours right next to us in the Nokia tent. The guy showed up just to party and spent the entire night smiling and chatting with anyone who approached him to take a photo. And btw, he was wasted; I literally saw him smoke a few joints right there 😁. Seriously, props to him for being so down-to-earth... I feel so bad that everyone is saying his performance was mediocre...

5. Did anyone else notice that you could practically sneak drugs, a bomb, a knife, or whatever you wanted into the festival in your underwear? They didn't even look at me twice...🤣

Oh, and... it's kind of funny how some people get so worked up and lose their minds just because someone has a different opinion than theirs. They remind me of those people at the Nightmare Stage who act like they're being personally insulted by someone just rambling, and then they start swearing like sailors. I don't know how anything like that can bother a normal person so much 🙂
