Price for a two-day festival pass:

* $130 Feb 1st - Mar 17th, 2010 ($113 including a discount for T-Mobile customers)
* $147 Mar 18th - May 5th, 2010 ($130 including a discount for T-Mobile customers)
* $163 May 6th - June 22nd, 2010 ($147 including a discount for T-Mobile customers)

• I guess T-Mobile customers can grab a discount of $17 just by reserving their ticket via text message (you just send a blank message to 2255), and then you'll probably just need to show that confirmation text when you actually go to buy the ticket.

• Also, students—no matter what carrier they're using—can pick up a ticket for $97 if they show a valid student ID during the early bird period from Feb 1st to Mar 17th, 2010, or whenever those tickets run out, though I suppose the number of tickets might be somewhat limited.

Hey, do I get an extra $97 off those $17 if I send the text?

Nope. http://www.t-mobileinmusicfestival.com/info/faq

I was one of those early birds who grabbed tickets 👋 and—fingers crossed—I really hope I don't end up having to flip my ticket 😬

With prices like these, they better land a massive headliner.

Yeah, honestly, these prices are getting out of hand. It’s a total disaster. I really hope we see just as many people showing up this year as we did last year...

Anyone got any intel on who’s actually headlining the festival? I feel like it’s about damn time they dropped the names for 😉

Modest Mouse, Arctic Monkeys... maybe some The Last Shadow Puppets, The National, Röyksopp, or The Knife. Or even Fever Ray, Crystal Castles, Calvin Harris, or Cold War Kids 👍
Honestly, I'd be pretty stoked if any of those showed up 😁
Though, I wouldn't say no to Foo Fighters coming back—or even Placebo 😁

The starting price is different though... last year we already knew who the headliners were, and tickets had that T-Mobile student discount at $100 (like 250 bucks)... this year, we don't even have a lineup yet and it's already up to 340...

On the bright side, they actually dropped the price on single-day passes 👍

Does this also apply to students studying outside of the US? 🙂

Wait, I’m pretty sure I already shelled out for my ticket during this whole "second round" thing $117 back last year.
Prices have jumped by $13, which feels a bit much when you consider we've had a full year of absolute luxury and peak living standards.
Then again, I can't shake the feeling that something massive is brewing on the horizon.

😍

Man, this anticipation is actually killing me... I've already got my trip booked for the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on July 8th, so I really need this too. Gotta have something to properly celebrate finishing up college 😁

Maybe we could go back to Foo Fighters again... or maybe Placebo... 😁

Oh, please—forget about those fancy crystal palaces... if you're looking for that kind of thing, just head over to Chicago instead... 🙂

You know, you actually could have caught The Knife or Röyksopp at Coachella last year—it was such a killer lineup...👍

Modest Mouse... there's just something about them that hits different. It’s that specific kind of raw, jagged energy—sort of messy but perfectly intentional at the same time. I was listening to some of their older stuff earlier, and man, it really takes you back... those lyrics always have a way of getting under your skin, even when they're being a bit weird.👍

That kind of vibe is more theater than festival stuff...

Their shows are total spectacles, but back when they hadn't even dropped an album, tickets were way too pricey for anyone who didn't know them yet...

Now that they finally have an album out, prices are definitely gonna skyrocket...
