Black Widow - $128. If I hadn't already committed to a new case, I would definitely be grabbing this one.

The retailer lists a 2-year warranty, but both the box and the manufacturer's site claim a limited lifetime warranty. It seems to depend on where you buy it.
Does that mean I only get 2 years of coverage, or does the manufacturer take over the warranty after those first two years pass?

Everything at Uzishop comes with a 2-year warranty through the store, but if it's a manufacturer warranty, I guess you just deal with the service center or the brand directly.

Hyper 612 Ver.2 - $93 Only 8 hours left.
By the way, there aren't any AM4 kits in stock right now. You’ll have to order one from Micro Center, and if I remember correctly, you'll be paying in dollars.

I was debating whether to pull the trigger on this, but I've decided to pass. I don't have—and won't be getting—a GPU powerful enough to handle high resolutions for gaming, and the pixel density is basically the same as a 23-24" FHD monitor. That means running 1080p on a 31.5" screen would look terrible and grainy, especially since I sit so close to my setup (probably less than two feet away). Honestly, even then, it’s a lousy deal for that price point, especially considering it's only 75Hz. The listing on the Amazon.com page actually has the specs wrong.

Does anyone have some good leads on where I can snag a decent 250GB SSD without getting ripped off? I was leaning toward picking up a Samsung EVO, but honestly, if there’s something else in that same ballpark that offers better value, I’m all ears. I don't really mind ordering something online through Amazon.com or just picking it up locally at a Best Buy if the price is right—I'm just looking for the best bang for my buck here in the States.

I'd say your best bet is probably checking Amazon.com, though you might want to double-check a few other spots just to be sure.

It's a decent deal; the drive is roughly as fast as a WD Blue model.
Though, honestly, everything else feels like a bit of a waste compared to that Samsung 850 evo you've had since $252.

If you want the best option, just head straight to Samsung. If you’re working with a tighter budget, you can always settle for that one instead.

Thanks for all the input, everyone. Honestly, I’m really leaning toward that Samsung model myself, even though I’ve never been one to obsessively track price fluctuations. Do you think there’s a good chance we might see some decent discounts right before or during the Christmas season at major US retailers?

It's possible, though nobody can give you a definitive guarantee on that. From what I've gathered, the IT industry tends to be largely immune to those typical Christmas sales; they rarely bother with discounts.😁

Sure, you can probably find a discount of about $6.75.

That AOC monitor is back in stock click
To be honest, guys, the people over at Best Buy who placed the initial orders actually had their purchases rejected—it was some nonsense about being out of stock or unable to fulfill the order—so I’m a bit puzzled why they’re listing it again. Who knows what’s going on there.
