Thatβs what Mark Zuckerberg is claiming, anywayβhe's an organizer over at some Daniels concert promotion group. I guess we'll probably find out the when, the where, and how much this is all going to cost during a press conference this Friday.
Daft Punk is dropping a new album this summer called Further, which is entirely instrumental, and they're only playing two shows in July: one at Coachella and another at Lollapalooza. So, maybe there's a chance for an American date to pop up too, just so they don't have to lug all their gear around quite so much.
Or, if they decide to just do a DJ set instead, which would be a bit cheaper, then Tom Rowlands or Ed Simons might just fly in with nothing but some vinyl and a MacBook, so a show could potentially happen sometime in mid-August.
And I'd imagine it would be somewhere coastal, since Fatboy Slim did so incredibly well with his recent shows. Plus, the summer tourist season is usually in full swing around then.
SoundGuardian is really just speculating at this point, but I suppose we'll know everything for sure on Friday.
