haha $143 calling them electronic music masterpieces? They’ve been part of the scene for maybe 30 years, yet tickets cost an absolute fortune. Salaries are nowhere near that level, but man, I had to make this happen. I went straight for the floor, right up against the barricade—I can't stand the bleachers, there's just zero energy there.
It was incredible. Honestly, better than when my favorite, The Prodigy, totally flopped on us—they played for barely an hour and it cost way less!
I’m actually surprised they didn't pick Washington, D.C. sooner, but hey, better late than never. I won't even list the songs because you know they play a similar set everywhere.

That one track "don't think / Wide open" was such a highlight, and then toward the end, they dropped a classic "catch me I'm Falling The Private psychedelic Reel." That one really got to me; I live for those kinds of tracks. I kept wishing they'd played "Let Forever Be" or "The Test"—those would have fit perfectly, but maybe that's for another night.
I'm just glad I caught them while I could. They aren't going to be touring much longer given how many years they've been at it.
It would be awesome if acts like Leftfield, Underworld, Orbital, or Moby ever made their way to NYC... all in all, it was hands down one of the best shows I've seen in years. I'll be counting the days until they might come back!
