I couldn't agree more. I’m firmly convinced this whole treatment is nothing more than a massive scam. There was even a doctor featured on the program who went on the record to confirm exactly that.

The absolute worst part of this whole ordeal is that hollow, fraudulent promise of a "cure." It’s dangerous. You end up with people being manipulated into walking away from their actual medication, which is nothing short of reckless. I keep thinking back to that charlatan, Shen Chi—it's exactly the kind of deceptive nonsense she used to peddle.

So, do you think this is just a temporary boost for my friend?
I don't know the first thing about MS, so I can't say if these kinds of shifts are normal with the condition, but she’s actually up and walking now.
I told my cousin to look into it and get some more info.

I’ve been through those exact same phases myself—times when I could barely even walk, only to have things turn around and improve again.
Every case of MS is different. I honestly don't doubt that the treatment they received over there worked, but that specific association charges way too much money for their services. I really hope your friend stays in this good state.👍

Okay, that’s how I put it, but during the broadcast they used the word "missing."

Anyway, a former reporter from The Washington Post was a guest on the show, and he was actually covering this whole "phenomenon" back then (about 11 years ago).

And yeah, there was one lady testifying who was asking about those treatments in China because she suffers from MS. They told her through that "association" organizing everything that the "treatment" costs have gone up and it's now $75,000.😲😲😠

...A few years back, I had the chance to see it with my own eyes—Ms. Wang was crossing the border into Canada whenever she felt like it, totally unhindered, just like she did when entering the States... And this was long after all those rumors started about her being kicked out of Canada... It probably wouldn't be possible if there were actually a warrant or an expulsion order out for her...

I watch these shows on ABC, and having witnessed some of the events being brought up again personally, I can tell you one thing—it’s rarely as simple as they make it out to be. But then again, a journalist is always a journalist, and we all know their bread and butter is sensation—any kind of sensation—even if it isn't strictly true... At the end of the day, everything nowadays seems to boil down to money; everyone just needs to figure out how to sell their story, whether they're a reporter, a doctor, a politician... or anyone else, really. A bit pathetic, isn't it?

I watched a live stream featuring an interview with the head of some nonprofit—I think they call themselves "Help"—that raises money for various medical treatments in China. The whole organization isn't even registered. They have no actual program, zero transparency, and absolutely no data. It’s just money, money, money, backed by these vague stories about "miracle cures" happening in China. There was even a mother there claiming her child was cured, but her story was incredibly inconsistent and lacked any real substance. Basically, she said nothing at all.
Yeah, and they’re linked to that so-called "Chinese doctor" who was kicked out of the US, Canada, and Canada because of several fatalities.

I get it—when you're sick, you might spend your last dime hoping for a cure—but this is straight-up criminal. I don't think there's anything more disgusting than scamming people who are fighting for their lives.
It is high time that our institutions—as the President keeps saying—finally do their jobs and stop these lowlifes from looting and defrauding people when they are most vulnerable.
