The halftime show was just some models in bikinis, if I recall correctly.🙄🙄
Let's go Warriors!!!

Someone get me some pictures!!

🎉 🙂 🙂

That game was pure chaos. Things were happening that you just don't see every day... Bičanić went right through the middle of Matoesevic and Svensson twice, and Horvat and Duvnjak hit the post so many times it felt like they were aiming for it. 🙏 🙏
And that defense? About as solid as a national team performance.🙏
If the goalie had actually been playing well in the first half, we would've walked away with a 10-point lead.☕

Guys, I’m assuming it’s pretty obvious to everyone here that the odds of the Golden State Warriors getting knocked out right after the group stage are still incredibly low? 😉

This is an absolute disgrace. So many people were just left standing outside.
And then you have that pig Gobac claiming people stayed out because they’re lazy and everyone tries to rush the doors five minutes before tip-off!
He can go jump in a lake!
Believe me, after 5:15 PM, NOBODY got inside.

I want to thank the BBB crew who walked out in solidarity. At least for Salamander, it actually felt like there was some sense of decorum in the arena!
As for those thugs in special ops and the police—people I actually respected until yesterday—I won't even dignify them with a comment.

Why are people calling them scum? Honestly, I find it hard to wrap my head around how anyone could be so shortsighted as to blame them for what happened with the crowd staying outside. Do people really think those folks just decided to stay out there for some kind of joke? They were simply doing the job they were ordered to do by someone higher up, and if they wanted to keep their paychecks, they had to follow orders. It seems a bit silly to see people picking fights with them over it, don't you think?

Our guys were great—especially that defense.
Balic isn't even half the player he was on the national team. Honestly, he's worse. 😁

There's some chatter about Balic potentially joining the Chicago squad next season. Anyone actually heard anything solid?

Balić isn't even close to what he was on the national team. And honestly, better 😁

I might have something. 😁

We'll be watching him in Chicago next year! 🙏🙏🙏

Yeah, Gobac 😁 ... "No clue"
Is that the official club line? Like, "Don't ask us, we have zero idea what's going on." 😂🤣

The thing about Balić's statement...
"I haven't a clue." Is that actually true? Especially since the info was already leaked on national TV? "Again, this is news to me," he said.
Would you want to move back to America? "That would be nice. I think it's time." — Balić answered in a pretty interesting way. 😁

Obviously. Portland isn't what they used to be, and teams like Flensburg and HSV are absolute powerhouses, so we aren't favorites by any stretch. But this is a motivator. You can actually see the improvement compared to how we played in the Champions League last season.

But man, this is a massive spark plug for us. You can actually see the improvement in how we're playing compared to our last run in the Champions League.

With Lino at the helm, seeing progress is kind of a given, right? 🙂

Take a look at the official Golden State Warriors site or just check my post from this morning—you'll see the full statement. 😉 Yeah, they’re the ones who screwed us over. 🤮

They were just doing their jobs because some idiot gave them an order. They had to follow it if they wanted to keep their paycheck. Now, idiots are actually picking fights with them.

Why scum? Here is why.

Until yesterday, I wouldn't have said that. Honestly, I used to believe most BBB fans were just troublemakers and that the police and SWAT teams were the least to blame for any incident.

But then you hear stuff like, "Back off or we will use force!" followed by endless replies of, "Sir, please don't use force!" Then there are threats toward women and girls. It honestly feels like they are trying to provoke a fight. I have zero interest in fighting. If I wanted to scrap, I’d go to a boxing gym, not a handball game.

I know they aren't responsible for the security lapse itself. Still, that kind of arrogant, cocky behavior is wrong. It's ridiculous. They acted like they were defending an arena from hardened criminals instead of women and children who just wanted to watch a game.

Hopefully, it's a bit clearer now why I used that word.

But when you experience people shouting stuff like "Step back if you don't want us to use force!"—followed by replies of "Sir, please don't use force!"—and then threats directed at women and girls... believe me, it looked like they were practically begging for a fight. I'm not interested in fighting; if I wanted to scrap, I'd head to an MMA gym, not a handball game.

I know they aren't responsible for the security failure itself, but that kind of arrogant, cocky behavior is unacceptable. It's as if they were defending the arena from hardened criminals instead of women and children who just wanted to watch the match.

Hopefully, it's a bit clearer now why I'm using certain adjectives.

What else were you thinking? The police had clear orders—clear out the crowd and deal with anyone resisting.
Next time, go ahead and attend the game, just live with the hope that some member of the elite won't decide to watch the match and eat up a thousand of your seats.

Up until yesterday, I wouldn't have ever said it. Seriously, I used to live with the mindset that most BBB fans were just idiots looking for trouble, and that the cops and SWAT teams were basically innocent in all these incidents.

But then you deal with people throwing out lines like "Back off if you don't want us to use force!", followed by some smartass responding with "Oh please, don't use force!"—not to mention the threats against women and girls... man, believe me, it felt like they were practically begging for a fight. And look, I'm not looking for a scrap; if I wanted to get punched in the face, I'd head to a boxing gym somewhere, not a handball game.

I get that they aren't the ones at fault for this specific security lapse, but still—that kind of arrogant, cocky attitude is totally uncalled for. It’s like, damn, act like you're defending the arena from hardened criminals or something, instead of acting like that toward women and kids who just wanted to watch the game.

Hopefully, it's a bit clearer now why I'm labeling them the way I am.

Man, look at you... you sound like someone who hasn't been to enough football games to see how "professionally" the American authorities handle citizens.
It's a shame more people weren't there, or even in previous cases.
Good grief...

gobac, screw your whole family.

What did you expect? The cops had clear orders—break up the crowd and crack heads if anyone tried to push back.
Next time, just stay home and hope some billionaire doesn't decide to crash the game and hog a thousand seats.

The people who actually paid for tickets have every right to be pissed when they’re locked out because some high-profile suit and his entourage decided to show up at the last second. In any normal country, you don't bar paying fans from the arena or stadium just because the President or some other VIP shows up.

If there were empty seats left in the arena, you really can't blame anyone for having sold too many tickets, can you? It seems more like we should just find out who actually gave the police the order to stop letting people inside. Was it some official from the police department, the security firm, or maybe someone over at the THL management? Shouldn't we be looking for whoever made that call and holding them accountable?

From what I saw, there were a few vacant seats, but those could have easily been filled by the crowd standing or sitting on the stairs. 🤷 Plus, there’s a massive crowd still stuck outside.😕

Look, maybe there were 20 empty seats, but there were also a ton of people just sitting on the stairs. I'm also pretty sure a huge crowd snuck in without tickets. That’s probably why the rest of the people were stuck outside.

I’m telling you all again—I honestly don't get why everyone is acting so shocked. This is the exact same chaos we used to see during those massive Golden State Warriors vs. FC Barcelona matchups. I remember one time specifically, just standing outside with my ticket, just like 4,000 other guys who were stuck in the same boat. If you show up two hours early, you won't have any issues. But trying to get into an arena when it's completely sold out—and dealing with a crowd of drunk, aggressive idiots swarming the entrance—that is always pure hell. Just look at what happens at Yankee Stadium when it's packed; if you're heading to the west stands, you can breeze in within four or five minutes, but the lines at the north stands? It’s a total slaughterhouse. Look, I don't personally have a problem with the madness—I manage to get in every single time without a hitch—but man, it really gets on my nerves.
