There will be another discount sent via SMS 🙂

Besides, they could totally put Radiohead on the lineup for the second day 🙂 😬

Tuesday and Wednesday, ugh 🤮

I’d much rather see Nick Cave at the Kennedy Center 🙂 but I suppose I'm still glad he's making the trip.

Again, seriously? 😬 It would actually be pretty cool to catch Rapture, too. I'm going to go check if they have any plans to drop a new Disco album this year... after a bit of digging, it looks like there's nothing announced yet. 😢

Oh, absolutely, I think we definitely want to do it again!!! 😁

Maybe it could be Electric Six.

Or honestly, just anything that gets people out on the dance floor. 😍

hollowangler68 said:Yo, we should probably just throw Radiohead on the lineup for day two... 🙂 😬

...I mean, I get the feeling this is all just a massive payday for them... maybe the whole thing was rigged from the start...🤷 That’s probably their big selling point for the festival...😁 I'm calling it now... next confirmed act is gonna be Radiohead...☕

So Zlimeni thinks moving Cave from the festival grounds into Carnegie Hall is a good idea...

What do you VIP ticket holders actually know? Honestly, Nick Cave—damn you and your conformist ways! :2up:

Seriously though, what kind of logic is this? They’re making them the main headliner when they've already headlined shows in New York like 18 times before... 🙂

edit: Since the crowd is demanding it, screw you too, Radiohead—just as a little preventative measure... ☕

Maybe Cave is just showing up to settle some old debts with ZAMP 😁

Putak says that after the last run, Radočaj still owes Cave 70% of that $75k cut from ticket royalties—you know, that mandatory fee every concert promoter in America has to cough up to ZAMP before they even see a dime of the money meant for the artists 🤮

Basically, ZAMP "protects" performers by ripping them off 🙏

Anyway, drop the link and a photo of Marić so we know exactly who to blame if the beer lines are backed up again 🙂

Man, this is honestly a joke. Who picks Tuesday and Wednesday for dates like this? 😠 Real people have college classes to get to and stuff to deal with, not to be stuck traveling mid-week. I don't know, 🤷 if they don't book some massive headliner—like someone on the level of Radiohead, which isn't happening anyway—I'm just not going.

Putak mentioned that since the last run, Radočaj actually owes Cave about 70% of a $75,000 cut from ticket levies—you know, those fees every concert promoter in America has to hand over to ZAMP before they distribute them to the songwriters. 🤮

Wait, remind me again—do taxi drivers and everyone else have to pay into ZAMP too? And if they don't, what's the deal? 🤔

Forget those fancy Carnegie Hall setups. If you really want to feel it, you need to be out in the mud and the dark, maybe with a massive thunderstorm rolling in as the backdrop for something like "Tupelo"... 🙂

And honestly, enough with this stuff!!! It’s starting to feel like every year is just some repetitive ritual for people who have nothing else to believe in 🙄

Personally, I think it would be incredible if someone like David Byrne headlined 🙂

@Michelle Hall9/">@@Michelle Hall9 - if I recall correctly, last year's Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival was held on weird days too. Was it Monday and Tuesday, or Tuesday and Wednesday... 🤔

🙂 man, I hear you👍

even if he is getting a little older and a bit weathered around the edges... 🤷 but has he even played a show here in the States before? 🤷

honestly, why can't we get some fresh, exciting acts that are actually at their peak—instead of having to bring out the old legends just because they're a guaranteed crowd-pleaser? 🤷

I think he was at the factory a few years back, if I recall correctly

Well, they were new and actually exciting last year!!!... and that's saying something

(Though I spent most of that time watching rats die, damn it😬)

He played at Carnegie Hall back on October 30, 1994—just him and an acoustic guitar, playing all those Talking Heads hits. 😍

Then later that night, we were all hanging out at this dive bar, and he just spontaneously jumped up on stage to rip through a few more songs—it was such a vibe. 🙏

I think around '95, he had a solo photography exhibit at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles. He actually gave me one of his signed prints, but I ended up giving it to my sister. 😵

Look, Lalić, August is the month when nobody is even thinking about college. I know you graduated ages ago, but maybe you actually remember how things work. 😛 June is the real nightmare because that’s when you're drowning in make-up exams, practicals, and trying to chase down professors for signatures. 😠

Mission of Burma is playing in Barcelona in a few days. It’d be great if some American promoter actually stepped up and brought them over here...
