The Australian duo Ed Kuepper & Jeffrey Wegener performing at the VIP Stage
I honestly can't believe they aren't embarrassed by this. The organizers... 🤷

I mean, picking Ed Kuepper definitely isn't the most inspired move for a lineup like this, but hey... what can you do? Life happens. Cave is absolutely killer, though, and honestly, given the call on Kuepper, the organizers should probably feel a little embarrassed about themselves.

Who is Ed Kuepper?
man, why is it so hard to just google his name? 🤷
basically, Ed Kuepper is basically the godfather of Aussie punk. he fronted The Saints with Chris Bailey, which was easily one of the most legendary punk bands out there...

So what's he even doing there? 😢 He should just come play at xet 😳 since Watt wasn't even there last year 😬

Honestly, it’d be better if they just canceled this whole Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival thing. I'd much rather see Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds—with Ed Kuepper opening—just play a regular, standalone show instead.

🙂 Man, I don't know about that...😍 though I suppose they could pull it off if they played both days.

...think about it. Day one could be Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, day two Grinderman. Hell, they could even throw in some solo sets from Mick Harvey, Conway Savage, or the rest of the crew... honestly, anything would be better than this ridiculous lineup of indie bands nobody’s ever heard of...

Just landed: our newest lineup addition for the KROQ Stage at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival (June 3rd & 4th, Los Angeles). It’s Jazzanova —basically the legends of the Berlin scene. These guys basically invented the vibe for nu-jazz, chillout, and jazz house, blending everything from deep Brazilian rhythms and classic jazz to African beats, downbeat, and even some techno... absolute icons.
