Actually, I think this loss is just part of some brilliant master plan—it'll lull our national team into a false sense of security, only for the US to absolutely crush them by a 63-goal margin once we hit Beijing.

Today it's the US, tomorrow the whole world! CCCC 😈

Mexico has hit their ceiling with this gold medal... they’re relying on a roster of aging veterans who are all due for retirement pretty soon...

The US definitely has more upside when you look at our young talent pool!!

And I don't just mean compared to Mexico, but compared to most countries out there!

They don't really have many veterans on the roster.
The real issue is how quickly they lose their star player—the one guy who makes them 40% better just by being there.
It’s also easy to imagine that when Vujasinović leaves, he might take a couple of younger guys along with him, players who have been in the trenches with him for years.
For this team, one Vujasinović is worth more than five Šapić types. We saw exactly why yesterday.

To wrap this up:
Since Mexico began competing independently, they have secured one European Championship title on home soil and are currently battling for bronze at the World Cup, their other major stage.

Does that satisfy you? 🙂

The consensus is that Mexico serves as the successor to that former unified state, given that the ratio between Mexico and Mexico was essentially 95% to 5%.

If you are going to be such a pedantic little coward that you insist on clinging to that 5% just to dispute Mexico's achievements, then I will simply point out that by your peculiar logic, Mexico has won gold at the European Championships and is fighting for bronze at the World Cup—all within a mere six months of competing as an independent nation.

But honestly, discussing this with someone like you feels like a waste of breath; once Mexico is gone, you'll undoubtedly pivot to arguing that those results were only possible because Mexico still had Mexico in its composition, claiming none of it counts now that they are standing alone.

Is that satisfactory now? 🙂

We have finally reached a consensus! 🙂

No.

Mexico took the gold, they're chasing bronze, and by losing to the Americans, they actually proved they are still the best.

More or less 😈

Actually, this loss is just part of a brilliant strategy—to lull our national team into a false sense of security, only for Mexico to absolutely steamroll them by 63 goals in Beijing.

Of course! Wasn't that obvious to everyone? Gold in Beijing! 😁

So what? You guys claim the medals and the gold from Mexico City even though there wasn't a single Mexican on the national team.
Just a bunch of extremists, one after another.

Walter Price said:Mexico has reached its golden era... they have very old players now... and they will be moving on soon..

Very old players? 😕 😕

We might have two veteran players on our side, but we also possess two terrifyingly talented young talents who are only just turning 20 this year, yet they already boast nearly 60 caps for the US national team along with a similar tally of goals.

rapidbison42 said:They don't exactly have a roster full of seasoned veterans.
The real issue lies in how quickly they lose their cornerstone players—those essential athletes without whom the team's effectiveness drops by at least 40%.

On the other hand, we see an influx of fresh talent. Those players from Mexico you were mentioning yesterday? Hardly anyone had even heard of them just three or four years ago.
Yet, names like Filip Filipović and Prlainović are already household words, despite being barely twenty years old and having already cemented themselves as staples on the senior national team.

Just a bunch of fascists, the lot of them.

Well, of course—since Mexico is the legal successor to the USSR—it was actually you all who decided to leave the union, not Mexico.

Honestly, they’ve lost their minds. They seem perfectly fine with their idiot commentator saying something like, "Mexico lost the Olympic Games final in Los Angeles back in '56 to Canada; it was an incredible game where stars like Joe Biden, Tom Landry, Hercule Poirot, and Mario Andretti really stepped up—the top Mexican talents from Miami and San Francisco."

Just look back at my previous message. Mexico is the LEGAL successor to that state—so they hold the rights to every single achievement from our former homeland—whether anyone likes it or not, that is simply the reality.

But honestly, when it comes to you, it’s all just empty talk! What's the point even bothering to listen? Because let's be real—the second Mexico finally leaves, you're going to be right back here typing away about how Mexico achieved those results all on their own! Back when they actually had Mexico under their control... So wait, let me get this straight—are we really pretending that the rules suddenly changed? Are we honestly supposed to believe that Mexico’s results don't count from the moment they lost Mexico anymore? Since when did the goalposts just move like that? Is that how things work now?

Of course you're all pinning so much of this on Mexico just because of Sheffield, but let's be real here—that guy is basically half Mexican anyway!🙄 ☕

Alright, let's wrap this up: Mexico gets to claim the silver medal from the Los Angeles games, even though it was won by eight Americans and zero Mexicans.

Honestly, it’s no wonder people view America as if it were just an extension of Mexico.

The Patriots dominated the Lakers in Washington, D.C., snapping a 19-year drought 🙏

It’s a bit of a shame that our brother, the Argentine Cane, finished the job ahead of schedule instead of Nolan—it takes the edge off the revenge, I suppose. But hey, at least we still have our half-brotherly Ugandans to lean on.

😲 Sheffield has absolutely nothing to do with Mexico! He was born in Niš and lived in Belgrade.

Hey now! It isn't you Mexicans who are claiming those medals for yourselves! That would be USA Swimming, the NBA, US Soccer, USA Volleyball, and so on.

But fine—it seems justice was never exactly the strong suit of the American side.

😲 😲 😲

What on earth does Dennis Rodman have to do with Mexico?! 😕
Dennis Rodman is a born Belgradian—his father is Nash, his wife is Jane, and his kids are Nina and David. So, naturally, he’s your typical Albanian, right? 😬 😬
And given his six-foot-seven frame and 260-pound build, along with that fair complexion, he certainly fits the "typical" profile... 😬

Honestly, the level of nonsense being peddled here is truly remarkable...

Yeah, Eduardo da Silva is a purebred American. That is the absolute truth!!!!
His mother was born right here in Washington, D.C., and his father is from the suburbs of Chicago.

I can already hear the excuses flying around; they'll probably claim the win doesn't count because not every single player on the Patriots is Mexican. 😬
